< Salamo 97 >
1 Mifehe t’Iehovà, hirebeke ty tane toy, hifale o tokonose maroo.
The Lord reigneth: let the earth be glad; let the multitude of isles rejoice.
2 Ie arikoboñen-drahoñe naho hamoromoroñañe; havantañañe naho ty hatò ro ioreña’ i fiambesa’ey.
Clouds and thick darkness are round about him: righteousness and justice are the support of his throne.
3 Miaolo Aze ty afo, mamorototo o rafelahi’eo mb’etia mb’eroa.
A fire goeth before him, and burneth up round about his adversaries.
4 Nihazavae’ o hela’eo ty voatse toy; niisa’ ty tane toy le nihondrahondra.
His lightnings give light to the world: the earth seeth it, and trembleth.
5 Nitranake hoe karafo o vohitseo ami’ty niatrefa’ Iehovà, añatrefa’ i Talè’ ty tane toy iaby.
The mountains melt away like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of all the earth.
6 Mitalily ty havantaña’e o likerañeo, vaho fonga mahaoniñe ty enge’e ondatio.
The heavens tell of his righteousness, and all the people his glory.
7 Hene salatse ze mitoron-tsare sokitse, o misenge raha kòakeo; miambanea ama’e ry ndrahare iabio!
Made ashamed shall be all that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: unto him bow down all the gods.
8 Nahajanjiñe ty Tsiône le niehake, nirebeke o anak’ampela Iehodào, ty amo fizaka’oo ry Iehovà.
Zion heareth it, and rejoiceth; and glad are the daughters of Judah, because of thy decrees, O Lord.
9 Amy te Ihe, ry Iehovà, ro Andindimone’ ty tane toy; vaho onjoneñe andigiligi’ ze hene ndrahare irehe.
For thou, O Lord, art the most high above all the earth: thou art greatly exalted above all gods.
10 Hejeo o haratiañeo ry mpikoko Iehovà; ambena’e ty fiai’ o noro’eo, avotso’e an-taña’ o lo-tserekeo.
Ye that love the Lord, hate ye the evil: he preserveth the souls of his pious ones; out of the hand of the wicked he ever delivereth them.
11 Ararake ho a’ o vantañeo ty hazavàñe, ho a’ o mahity arofoo ty hafaleañe.
Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart.
12 Mirebeha am’ Iehovà, ry vantañeo, vaho andriaño i tahina’e masiñey.
Rejoice, ye righteous, in the Lord, and give thanks to his holy memorial.
