< Salamo 94 >
1 O ry Iehovà, Andrianañahare mpamale-fate, ry Andrianañahare, mpañome-to: mireandreaña.
Adonai, you God to whom vengeance belongs, you God to whom vengeance belongs, shine out.
2 Miongaha, ry Mpizaka’ ty tane toio; lilovo ami’ty fañeva’e o mpirengevokeo.
Rise up, you judge of the earth. Pay back the proud what they deserve.
3 Sikal’ ombia o lo-tserekeo, ry Iehovà: pak’ombia ty mbe hitreña’ o tsivokatseo?
Adonai, how long will the wicked, how long will the wicked triumph?
4 Mifatatiake, manotratsotrake; mijiajia iaby o mpanao ratio.
They pour out arrogant words. All those who practice vain striving of iniquity boast.
5 Demohe’ iereo ondati’oo ry Iehovà, volevole’ iereo ty lova’o.
They break your people in pieces, Adonai, and afflict your heritage.
6 Vonoe’ iereo ty vantotse naho ty renetane, naho mañoho-doza amo bode-raeo;
They kill the widow and the alien, and murder the fatherless.
7 vaho manao ti-hoe: Tsy vazoho’ Ià; tsy mañaoñe t’i Andrianañahare’ Iakobe.
They say, “Yah will not see, neither will Jacob [Supplanter]’s God consider.”
8 Mañaraharà ry borololo am’ ondatio; naho o dagolao, ombia t’ie hahafohiñe?
Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise?
9 Tsy mahajanjiñe hao i nambole o ravembiaoy? Tsy mahavazoho hao i Mpitsene fihainoy?
He who implanted the ear, won’t he sh'ma ·hear obey·? He who formed the eye, won’t he see?
10 Tsy hanoro hao i Mpandilo o fifeheañeo? ie mañòke hilala am’ondatio.
He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish? He who teaches man knows.
11 Arofoana’ Iehovà ty fitsakorea’ ondaty; t’ie kofòke avao.
Adonai knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.
12 Haha t’indaty lilove’o ry Ià, naho i anara’o amy Tsara’oy;
Blessed is the man whom you discipline, Yah, and teach out of your Torah ·Teaching·;
13 homea’o fitofàñe an-tsan-kasotriañe, ampara’ te nihaliañe koboñe o lo-tserekeo.
that you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit is dug for the wicked.
14 Tsy ho farie’ Iehovà ondati’eo; tsy haforintse’e i lova’ey.
For Adonai won’t reject his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
15 Mbe himpoly ami’ty hahiti’e o zakao, le hene hañorik’ aze o vañoñ’ añ’arofoo.
For judgment will teshuvah ·completely return· to righteousness. All the upright in heart shall follow it.
16 Ia ty hitroatse amo tsereheñeo ho ahy? Ia ty hijohañe amo mpanao ratio ho amakoo?
Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against those who practice vain striving of iniquity?
17 Naho tsy Iehovà ty nañimb’ ahy le ho nitobe am-pitsiñañe ty fiaiko.
Unless Adonai had been my help, my soul would have soon lived in silence.
18 Ie anoeko ty hoe: Midorasitse ty tomboko; le manozañ’ ahy ty fiferenaiña’o ry Iehovà.
When I said, “My foot is slipping!” Your chesed ·loving-kindness·, Adonai, held me up.
19 Ie mañotrotro ty hamahimahin-troke, le mampanintsiñe ty fiaiko o fañohòa’oo.
In the multitude of my thoughts within me, your comforts delight my soul.
20 Mete hiharo-rehak’ ama’o hao ty fitobohan-katsivokarañe— ie mikitro-draha hatao’e fañè,
Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, which brings about mischief by statute?
21 naho mirañadrañake hañè-doza ami’ty fiai’ o vañoñeo, vaho mañozoñe ty lio tsy aman-kila.
They gather themselves together against the soul of the upright, and condemn as guilty the innocent blood.
22 Fe haboam-pitsolohako t’Iehovà, vaho lamilamy fipalirako t’i Andrianañahareko.
But Adonai has been my high tower, my God, the rock of my refuge.
23 Nampolia’e ty hatsivokara’ iareo, vaho ho mongora’e ty amo fikotriha’iareoo; toe ihañitoa’ Iehovà Andrianañaharentika.
He has brought on them their own vain striving of iniquity, and will cut them off in their own wickedness. Adonai, our God, will cut them off.
