< Salamo 92 >
1 Soa ty mañandriañe Iehovà, ty misabo vaho mibango o tahina’oo ry Andindimoneñey,
Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.
2 ty hitalily ty fiferenaiña’o boa’maraiñe; naho ty figahiña’o an-kaleñe,
It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,
3 ami’ty marovany folo-taly, naho ami’ty mandalina, vaho ami’ty fandrimotam-peon-jejo-bory.
accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.
4 Amy te Ihe ry Iehovà ro mahaehak’ ahy amo fitoloña’oo, irebehako o tolom-pità’oo.
Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.
5 Akore ty hajabahina’ o tolon-draha’oo ry Iehovà, toe miheotse o fivetsevetse’oo!
Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.
6 Tsy aman-kilala t’indaty mineñe, tsy maharendreke zao ty dagola:
There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.
7 t’ie mitiry hoe ahetse o lo-tserekeo, naho fonga miraorao o tsy vokatseo, f’ie hafàtse ho rotsaheñe kitro katroke.
They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.
8 Fa Ihe ry Iehovà ro an-digiligy eñe nainai’e donia.
But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.
9 Heheke o rafelahi’oo ry Iehovà; Ingo te hikoromake o malaiñ’ Azoo; Fonga hibaibay ze mpanao raty.
Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.
10 Fa naonjo’o ty tsifako manahake ty an-drimo, fa hinosotse solike vao iraho.
But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].
11 Le hahatrea ty fisalalako amo rafelahikoo’ o masokoo vaho ho tsanoñen-tsofiko ty fañiriako amo tsereheñe mivoalatse amakoo.
I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.
12 Handrevake hoe satrañe o vantañeo, manahake ty fitiria’ o akao e Libanoneo ty hitomboa’e;
But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.
13 Tinongy añ’anjomba’ Iehovà ao, hitroñe an’kiririsan’Añahare eo.
[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.
14 Mbe hiregorego iereo te antetse, ho lifo-dranoke naho hirimboñe,
[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.
15 hitaroñe te vañoñe t’Iehovà, lamilamiko, tsy ama’e ty tsy to.
That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
