< Salamo 90 >

1 Ry Talè, Ihe ni-fimoneña’ay amo tarira’ay iabio.
A prayer of Moses, the man of God. Lord, thou hast bene our habitation from generation to generation.
2 Ie mboe tsy toly o vohitseo mboe tsy tsinene’o ty tane toy naho ty voatse toy, boak’ an-kaehae hambo’e añe pak’ an-kitro añ’afe’e añe, Ihe ro Andrianañahare.
Before the mountaines were made, and before thou hadst formed the earth, and the world, euen from euerlasting to euerlasting thou art our God.
3 Ampolie’o mb’an-debok’ ao ondatio ami’ty hoe: Mimpolia ry ana’ondaty.
Thou turnest man to destruction: againe thou sayest, Returne, ye sonnes of Adam.
4 Fa arivo taoñe am-pivazohoa’o ty andro raike toe hoe omale te nihelañe, ie manahake ty fiambenañe an-kaleñe.
For a thousande yeeres in thy sight are as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
5 Sinao’o añe hoe an-tsorotombake iereo, le miròtse, f’ie maraiñe, le hoe ahetse mipitsipitsike.
Thou hast ouerflowed them: they are as a sleepe: in the morning he groweth like the grasse:
6 Mioboñoboñe te maraindraiñe mbore mitombo, ie hariva miheatse vaho miforejeje.
In the morning it florisheth and groweth, but in the euening it is cut downe and withereth.
7 Toe mongore’ ty haviñera’o zahay, mampangebahebak’ anay ty fifombo’o.
For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
8 Fa napo’o añatrefa’o o tahi’aio, am-pireandrean-dahara’o eo o hakeo’ay mietakeo.
Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, and our secret sinnes in the light of thy countenance.
9 Fonga mihelañe ami’ty fifombo’o o andro’aio; fa nagado’ay hoe fiselekaiñañe o tao’aio.
For all our dayes are past in thine anger: we haue spent our yeeres as a thought.
10 Ty andro’ o tao’aio le fitompolo taoñe; mete ho valo-polo, t’ie maozatse; fe hamokorañe naho fangoakoahañe avao ty enge’e, migadoñe aniany, vaho mitiliñ’añe.
The time of our life is threescore yeeres and ten, and if they be of strength, fourescore yeeres: yet their strength is but labour and sorowe: for it is cut off quickly, and we flee away.
11 Ia ty mahafohiñe ty haozara’ o haviñera’oo? naho ty fañeveñañe mañeva Azo ty ami’ty fifombo’o?
Who knoweth the power of thy wrath? for according to thy feare is thine anger.
12 Aa le anaro zahay hañiake o andro’aio, hahazoa’ay arofo mahihitse.
Teach vs so to nomber our dayes, that we may apply our heartes vnto wisdome.
13 Mimpolia ry Iehovà! Ombia? iferenaiño o mpitoro’oo
Returne (O Lord, howe long?) and be pacified toward thy seruants.
14 Eneño an-kafatraram-pikokoa’o te maraindray zahay, hirebeha’ay naho hifalea’ay amo hene andro’aio.
Fill vs with thy mercie in the morning: so shall we reioyce and be glad all our dayes.
15 Ampifaleo mira amo andro nampisotria’o anaio, naho amo taoñe nahaisaha’ay haratiañeo.
Comfort vs according to the dayes that thou hast afflicted vs, and according to the yeeres that we haue seene euill.
16 Fa halange amo mpitoro’oo o fitoloña’oo, naho ty enge’o amo ana’ iareoo.
Let thy worke bee seene towarde thy seruants, and thy glory vpon their children.
17 Ho aman-tika ty fañisoha’ i Talè Andrianañahare’ay; ajadoño ty tolom-pità’ay; eka aoreño o satam-pità’aio.
And let the beautie of the Lord our God be vpon vs, and direct thou the worke of our hands vpon vs, euen direct the worke of our handes.
