< Salamo 89 >

1 Ho saboeko nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’ Iehovà, hampahafohineko am-bava ze hene tariratse mifandimbe ty figahiña’o.
“A Maskil of Ethan the Ezrachite.” The kindnesses of the Lord will I for ever sing: from generation to generation will I make known thy faithfulness with my mouth.
2 Fa hoe iraho: mioreñe nainai’e ty fiferenaiñañe, najado’o andindiñe ao ty figahiña’o.
For I have said, To eternity will kindness be built up: the heavens—yea, in these wilt thou establish thy faithfulness.
3 Nanoeko fañina amy jinobokoy, nifanta amy Davide mpitorokoy:
“I have made a covenant with my elect, I have sworn unto David my servant,
4 Hajadoko pak’añ’afeafe’e o tarira’oo, naho hatroako amo hene tariratseo ty fiambesam-panjakà’o. Selà
Unto eternity will I establish thy seed, and I will build up thy throne, from generation to generation.” (Selah)
5 Ho rengè’ o likerañeo o halatsà’oo ry Iehovà, naho ty figahiña’o am-pivori’ o noro’oo.
And the heavens praise thy wonder, O Lord: also thy faithfulness in the assembly of holy ones.
6 Fa ia an-dikerañe ao ty mañirinkiriñe am’ Iehovà? Ia amo ana’ o manjofakeo ty hambakambañe am’ Iehovà?
For who in the sky can be compared unto the Lord? who can be likened unto the Lord among the sons of the mighty?
7 I Andrianañahare añeveña’ ty fivori’ o noro’eo; hene ilatsa’ o miariseho’ azeo.
God is greatly terrific in the secret council of the holy ones and fear-inspiring over all that are about him.
8 Ry Iehovà Andrianañahare’ i Màroy, ia ty mañirinkiriñe azo? Ry Ià maozatseo, ohoñe’ty figahiña’o.
O Lord God of hosts, who is powerful, like thee, Eternal! and thy faithfulness is round about thee.
9 Fehe’o ty fitroña’ o riakeo, ie mitroatse o alo’eo le ampipendreñe’o.
Thou rulest over the pride of the sea: when its waves are lifted up, thou assuagest them.
10 Dinemodemo’o ty Rahabe manahake o vinonoo; binaibaim-pitàn-kaozara’o o rafelahi’oo.
Thou didst crush Rahab as one that is slain: with thy strong arm didst thou scatter thy enemies.
11 Azo o likerañeo, Azo ka ty tane toy; ty voatse toy naho ty halifora’e. Ihe ro nañoreñe iareo.
Thine are the heavens, also thine is the earth: as for the world and what filleth it, thou hast founded them.
12 Ty avaratse naho ty atimo, songa nitsenè’o; rebehe’ i Tabore naho i Kermone ty tahina’o.
The north and the south—these hast thou created: Tabor and Chermon shall rejoice in thy name.
13 Maozatse ty sira’o, fatratse ty fità’o, mionjoñe ty fitàn-kavana’o.
Thine is the powerful arm, with might: strong is thy hand, and exalted is thy right hand.
14 Ty havañonañe naho ty hatò ro fioreñam-piambesa’o; iatrefa’ ty fiferenaiñañe naho ty havantañañe.
Righteousness and justice are the prop of thy throne: kindness and truth precede thy presence.
15 Haha t’ondaty mahafohiñe i fipoñafam-peoy, Hañavelo ami’ty fireandrean- dahara’o iereo, ry Iehovà;
Happy is the people that know the cornet's sound: O Lord, in the light of thy countenance will they ever walk firmly.
16 I tahina’oy ty hitreña’ iareo lomoñandro, ie onjoñe’ ty havantaña’o.
In thy name will they be glad all the day, and in thy righteousness will they be exalted.
17 Ihe ro enge’ ty haozara’iareo, mañonjoñe ty tsifa’ay ty fañosiha’o.
For thou art the glory of their strength; and through thy favor will our horn be exalted.
18 A i Iehovà ty fikalan-defo’ay, a i Masi’ Israeley ty Mpanjaka’ay
For of the Lord is our shield; and of the Holy One of Israel is our king.
19 Teo ty nitsarae’o añ’aroñaroñe amo noro’oo, ty hoe: fa nìmbaeko i fanalolahiy; fa nonjoneko ty jinoboñe am’ ondatio,
Then spokest thou in a vision to thy pious [servant], and saidst, “I have bestowed help to one that is mighty; I have exalted a youth out of the people;
20 nitreako t’i Davide mpitoroko; i norizako amy soliko miavakeiy.
I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him;
21 Ho gañe ama’e ty tañako, hampaozatse aze ka ty sirako
With whom my hand shall be firmly established; also my arm shall strengthen him;
22 Tsy hamañahy aze o rafelahio, tsy hampilovilovy aze i anan-karatiañey.
The enemy shall not exact from him like a lender: and the son of injustice shall not afflict him:
23 Ho demoheko añatrefa’e o rafelahi’eo, vaho ho zevoñeko o malaiñ’azeo.
And I will beat down before his face his assailants, and those that hate him will I plague.
24 Ho ama’e ty figahiñako naho ty fiferenaiñako, ty añarako ro fañonjonañe ty tsifa’e.
But my faithfulness and my kindness shall be with him: and through my name shall his horn be exalted.
25 Hasampeko amy riakey ka ty fità’e, naho ty fitàn-kavana’e amo sakao.
And I will place on the sea his hand, and on the rivers his right hand.
26 Ho kanjie’e ami’ty hoe: Ihe ro Raeko, Andrianañahareko, vaho ty lamilamim-pandrombahañe ahiko.
He will call unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
27 Hanoeko tañoloñoloñako re ho talèm-panjaka’ ty tane toy.
Also I will appoint my first-born, the highest among the kings of the earth.
28 Hambenako ami’ty fiferenaiñako nainai’e, le hijadoñe ama’e ty fañinako.
For evermore will I keep for him my kindness, and my covenant shall stand faithfully with him.
29 Haoreko tsy ho modo nainai’e o tarira’eo, ho mira amo andron-dikerañeo ty fiambesa’e.
And I appoint for ever his seed, and his throne as the days of heaven.
30 Aa naho zehare’ o ana’eo i Entakoy naho tsy mañavelo amo fepèkoo,
If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my ordinances;
31 naho lilare’ iareo o fañèkoo, vaho tsy mitañ’ o fandiliakoo,
If they profane my statutes, and keep not my commandments:
32 Le ho tiliheko an-kobaiñe ty fiolà’ iareo, naho am-pòfoke o tahi’ iereoo.
Then will I visit with the rod their transgressions, and with plagues their iniquity.
33 Fe tsy hasintako ama’e ty fiferenaiñako, vaho tsy hivalik’ ami’ty figahiñako.
Nevertheless my kindness will I not make utterly void from him, and I will not act falsely against my faithfulness.
34 Tsy ho tivaeko i fañinakoy, ndra hañova ze naakan-tsoñiko.
I will not profane my covenant, and what is gone out of my lips will I not alter.
35 Teo ty nifantàko ami’ty hamasiñako, —zaho tsy handañitse amy Davide—
One thing have I sworn by my holiness, that I will not lie unto David.
36 Tsy ho modo nainai’e i tiri’ey, vaho manahake i masoandro aolokoy i fiambesa’ey;
His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne shall be like the sun before me.
37 hioreñe nainai’e re manahake i volañey, vaho higahiñe manahake i valolombelon-dikerañey. Selà
Like the moon shall it be firmly established for ever, and as this faithful witness in the sky.” (Selah)
38 Fe sinoi’o añe iraho, nifarieñe, niviñera’o i noriza’oy.
And yet thou hast east off and despised, thou hast become wroth with thy anointed.
39 Novohe’o ty fañina’o amy mpitoro’oy; nitivae’o an-debok’ao ty sabakan-enge’e.
Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned, down to the ground, his crown.
40 Fonga tinorotosi’o o kijoli’eo narotsa’o iaby o rova’eo.
Thou hast broken down all his fences: thou hast brought his strong-holds to terror.
41 Ikopaha’ ze hene miary eo; Andrabioña’ o mifankarine ama’eo.
All that pass by the way plunder him: he is become a reproach to his neighbors.
42 Naonjo’o ty tañan-kavana’ o malaiñe azeo; nampirebehe’o o rafelahi’e iabio;
Thou hast raised up the right hand of his assailants: thou hast caused all his enemies to rejoice.
43 Mbore nafote’o i lelam-pibara’ey le tsy ampijohañe’o an-kotakotak’ ao.
Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not let him stand erect in the battle.
44 Najihe’o ty enge’e, naho navokovoko’o an-tane eo i fiambesa’ey.
Thou hast made his brilliancy cease; and his throne hast thou thrown down to the ground.
45 Nitomore’o o andron-katora’eo, kinolopo’o hasalaran-dre. Selà
Thou hast shortened the days of his youth: thou hast enshrouded him with shame. (Selah)
46 Pak’ombia ry Iehovà? Hietake nainai’e v’iheo? Sikala ombia ty hiforoforoa’ ty fifombo’o hoe afo?
How long, Lord, wilt thou hide thyself, continually? how long shall thy fury burn like fire?
47 Tiahio ty habori’ o androkoo, akore ty hakoahañe nitsenè’o ze kila ana’ ondaty!
Remember [what] I am, what my duration is [here], for what nothingness thou hast created all sons of men!
48 Ia t’indaty veloñe tsy ho liàn-kavilasy, ho haha’e ami’ty haozara’ i kiboriy hao ty fiai’e? Selà (Sheol h7585)
What man is there that can live, and shall not see death? that can deliver his soul from the power of the nether word? (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
49 Aia o fiferenaiña’o haehaeo, ry Talè, ze nifantà’o amy Davide ami’ty figahiña’o?
Where are thy former kindnesses, O Lord, which thou hast sworn unto David by thy truth?
50 Tiahio ry Talè, ty fañivañivañe i mpitoro’oy, ie otroñeko añ’arañako ondaty maroo,
Remember, Lord, the disgrace of thy servants; that I bear in my bosom the [burden] of all the many nations;
51 ie kinizakiza’ o rafelahi’oo, ry Iehovà, ie ninjè’ iareo o lia’ i noriza’oio;
That thy enemies have defied, O Lord; that they have defied the footsteps of thy anointed.
52 Andriañeñe nainai’e t’Iehovà. Ie izay, naho Amena.
Blessed be the Lord for evermore. Amen, and Amen.
