< Salamo 84 >
1 Honh! hamotsontane ty kivoho’o ry Iehovà’ i Màroy!
[For the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. A Psalm by the sons of Korah.] How lovely are your dwellings, LORD of hosts.
2 Misalala ty foko, eka tsìpike ty sihisihy ty amo kiririsa’ Iehovào. Mirebek’ aman’ Añahare veloñe ty troko naho ty sandriko.
My soul longs, yes, yearns for the courts of the LORD. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
3 Hehe, nahatrea traño ty jorioke, naho hàlañe ho aze i tintiñey, hañopake o ana’eo amo kitreli’oo ry Iehovà’ i Màroy, Mpanjakako naho Andrianañahareko!
Yes, the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, near your altars, LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.
4 Haha o mimoneñe añ’anjomba’o ao, mandrenge Azo nainai’eo. Selà
Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are ever praising you. (Selah)
5 Haha t’indaty naho ihe ro haozara’e, añ’arofo’iareo o lalam-pamantañañeo.
Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage.
6 Ie miranga am-bavatanem- pirovetañe ao, le ampanjarie’e tane manganahana, vaho saroña’ i oran-jobay fañanintsiñe!
Passing through the Valley of Baca, he makes it into a spring. Yes, the autumn rain covers it with blessings.
7 Mañavelo an-kaozarañe orihen-kafatrarañe iareo, songa miatrek’ an’Andrianañahare e Tsiône ao.
They go from strength to strength. Everyone of them appears before God in Zion.
8 Ry Iehovà Andrianañahare’ i Màroy, janjiño ty halaliko; toloro ravembia, ry Andrianañahare’ Iakobe. Selà
LORD, God of hosts, hear my prayer. Listen, God of Jacob. (Selah)
9 Vazohò ry Andrianamboatse Mpikalan-defo’aiy, isaho ty lahara’ i noriza’oy.
Look, God our shield, look at the face of your anointed.
10 Soa te ami’ty andro arivo, ty andro raik’ an-kiririsa’o ao; hamake te mpañamben-dalam- bein’ anjomban’Añahareko iraho, ta te himoneñe an-kiboho’ o lo-tserekeo.
For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 Masoandro vaho fikalañe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare, Mpanolotse falalàñe naho engeñe t’Iehovà: tsy eo ty raha soa ho tana’e amo mañavelo an-kavantañañeo.
For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.
12 O ry Iehovà’ i Màroy, haha t’indaty miato ama’o.
LORD of hosts, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
