< Salamo 82 >

1 Mijohañe am-pivorim-panalolahy t’i Andrianañahare; mizaka añivom-pizaka eo.
— A Psalm of Asaph. God hath stood in the company of God, In the midst God doth judge.
2 Pak’ombia ty mbe izakà’ areo ami’ty tsy hiti’e, hañonjonañe o tsivokatseo? Selà
Till when do ye judge perversely? And the face of the wicked lift up? (Selah)
3 Meo tò o rarakeo naho o bode-raeo; tohaño ty zo’ o poie’eo naho o misotrio.
Judge ye the weak and fatherless, The afflicted and the poor declare righteous.
4 Hahao o mahàtrao naho o malorèo; avotsoro am-pità’ o lo-tserekeo.
Let the weak and needy escape, From the hand of the wicked deliver them.
5 Tsy mahilala iereo, naho tsy mahafohiñe, mirererere añ’ieñe ao avao; fa naveve iaby o faha’ ty tane toio.
They knew not, nor do they understand, In darkness they walk habitually, Moved are all the foundations of earth.
6 Nanao ty hoe iraho: Mpizaka nahareo songa anak’ i Andindimoneñey.
I — I have said, 'Gods ye [are], And sons of the Most High — all of you,
7 Fe hikoromake hoe ondaty avao, hikorovoke manahake ty raike amo roandriañeo.
But as man ye die, and as one of the heads ye fall,
8 Miongaha, ry Andrianañahare, zakao ty tane toy, fa kila ho lovae’o o fifeheañeo.
Rise, O God, judge the earth, For Thou hast inheritance among all the nations!
