< Salamo 79 >
1 Ry Andrianañahare, tinorotosi’ o kilakila ‘ndatio ty lova’o; fa tiniva’ iereo i anjomba’o Masiñey zinevo’ iereo ho am-botri-am-botry t’Ierosalaime.
A Melody of Asaph. O God, nations, Have entered thine inheritance, Have profaned thy holy temple, —Have laid Jerusalem in heaps:
2 Finaha’e ami’ty fañova’ o mpitoro’oo o voron-dikerañeo; naho ami’ty nofo’ o nigahiñ’ ama’oo o bibi’ ty tane toio.
They have given, The dead bodies of thy servants, As food for the birds of the heavens, The flesh of thy men of lovingkindness, Unto the wild beast of the earth:
3 Nadoandoañe hoe rano mb’eo mb’eo e Ierosalaime ao ty lio’ iareo; ie tsy amam-pandenteke.
They have poured out their blood like water, Round about Jerusalem, With none to bury.
4 Fifosà’ o am-paripari’aio zahay, mandrabioñe naho mitsikike anay o mañohok’ anaio.
We have become, A reproach to our neighbours, —A mockery and a derision, to them who are round about us.
5 Pak’ombia ry Iehovà? ho viñera’o nainai’e hao? Sikal’ombia ty mbe hibebañe hoe afo ty famarahia’o?
How long, O Yahweh, wilt thou be angry utterly? Shall thy jealousy, burn like fire?
6 Adobaño amo kilakila ondaty tsy mahafohiñ’Azoo ty haviñera’o; naho amo tane tsy mikanjy i tahina’oio.
Pour out thy wrath, Upon the nations that have not known thee—and, Upon the kingdoms that, on thy Name, have not called.
7 Fa nabotse’ iereo t’Iakobe, naho nanoeñe tanàn-taolo ty fimoneña’e.
For he hath devoured Jacob, —And, his dwelling-place, have they laid waste.
8 Ko tiahie’o ama’ay o hakeon-drae’aio, ampisalakao anay masìka o fiferenaiña’oo, fa nafotsak’ ambane.
Do not remember against us former iniquities, —Haste thee, let thy compassions, come to meet us, For we have been brought very low!
9 Imbao, ry Andrianañaharem- pandrombahañ’ anay! Ty amy enge’ i tahina’oy; avotsoro, vaho saroño o hakeo’aio ty amy tahina’oy.
Help us, O God of our salvation, on account of the glory of thy Name, —Rescue us then, and put a propitiatory-covering over our sins, For the sake of thy Name.
10 Aa vaho akore ty atao’ o kilakila ondatio ty hoe: Aia t’i Andrianañahare’ iareo? Ampahafohino o fifeheañeo ampahaisaha’ay ty famaleañe o liom-pitoro’o nadoañeo.
Wherefore should the nations say—Where is their God? Let him be known among the nations before our eyes! [Yea! By] the avenging of the blood of thy servants which hath been shed!
11 Ampiatrefañ’ Azo ty fitretretretre’ o mpirohio; ty ami’ty harà’ elahin-kaozara’o; hahao o tinendre havetrakeo.
Let the groaning of the prisoner, come in before thee, —According to the greatness of thine arm, Set free them who are appointed to death.
12 Le valeo im-pito añ’araña’ o mañohok’ anaio, o tivetive nafokafoka’e ama’oo ry Talè.
Return, therefore, unto our neighbours—Sevenfold, into their own bosom, The reproach wherewith they have reproached thee, O Adonay!
13 Soa te hañandriañe Azo nainai’e zahay ondati’o naho añondrim-piandraza’oo, vaho hatalili’ay amy ze hene tariratse kitro añ’afe’e ty enge’o.
So, we, thy people, and the sheep of thy pasture, will give thanks unto thee, to times age-abiding, —To generation after generation, will we recount thy praise.
