< Salamo 72 >
1 Toloro amy mpanjakay ty fizakà’o, ry Andrianañahare, vaho amy ana’ i mpanjakaiy ty havantaña’o,
Of Solomon. Endow the king with Your justice, O God, and the son of the king with Your righteousness.
2 Hizaka’e an-kahiti’e ondati’oo, o mpisotri’oo an-katò.
May he judge Your people with righteousness and Your afflicted with justice.
3 Hinday fanintsiñañe am’ ondatio o vohitseo, naho havañonañe o haboañeo.
May the mountains bring peace to the people, and the hills bring righteousness.
4 Ho mei’e to o rarake am’ondatioo, ho rombahe’e ty ana’ o poi’eo, vaho ho demohe’e ty mpamorekeke.
May he vindicate the afflicted among the people; may he save the children of the needy and crush the oppressor.
5 Hañeveñe ama’o iereo naho mbe ey i androy, vaho mbe eñe i volañey, amy ze hene tariratse.
May they fear him as long as the sun shines, as long as the moon remains, through all generations.
6 Ie hizotso manahake ty orañe an-teteke vaho tinatake eo, hoe ereke mampiboboke ty tane.
May he be like rain that falls on freshly cut grass, like spring showers that water the earth.
7 Hiraorao amo andro’eo o vañoñeo: vaho am-pierañerañañe vokatse ampara’ te mimosaoñe i volañey.
May the righteous flourish in his days and prosperity abound, until the moon is no more.
8 Ho fehè’e ty boak’ an-driake eñe, pak’an-driak’ añe ka; le boak’ amy sakay pak’amo olon-taneo.
May he rule from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.
9 hilokoloko ama’e o mpimoneñe am-babangoañeo; vaho hitsela lemboke o rafelahi’eo.
May the nomads bow before him, and his enemies lick the dust.
10 Handroroñe ama’e o mpanjaka’ i Tarsiseo naho o tokonoseo; hañenga ama’e o mpanjaka’ i Tsebà naho i Sebào.
May the kings of Tarshish and distant shores bring tribute; may the kings of Sheba and Seba offer gifts.
11 Eka, hibokokoa’ ze kila mpanjaka, hene fifeheañe ro hitoroñe aze.
May all kings bow down to him and all nations serve him.
12 Himbae’e ty rarake te mitoreo, naho i mpisotriy, vaho i tsy amam-pañimbay.
For he will deliver the needy who cry out and the afflicted who have no helper.
13 Hiferenaiña’e ty maifoifo naho o poi’eo, vaho ho rombahe’e ty fiai’ o mavomavoo.
He will take pity on the poor and needy and save the lives of the oppressed.
14 Ho jebañe’e ami’ty famorekekeañe naho amo hasiahañeo ty fiai’iareo, fa sarotse am-pivazohoa’e eo ty lio’ iareo.
He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their blood is precious in his sight.
15 Ho velon-dre! hatolotse aze ty volamena’ i Sebà; añonjono halaly ama’e nainai’e, andriaño lomoñandro.
Long may he live! May gold from Sheba be given him. May people ever pray for him; may they bless him all day long.
16 ho vokats’ ampemba i taney, an-dengon-kaboañe ey, le hihelakelake hoe e Lebanone añe o havokara’eo; vaho handrevake hoe ty ahe’ i taney o boak’an-drovao.
May there be an abundance of grain in the land; may it sway atop the hills. May its fruit trees flourish like the forests of Lebanon, and its people like the grass of the field.
17 Tsy ho tampetse nainai’e ty tahina’e; tsy ho modo aolo’ i àndroy ty tahina’e; vaho hifampitata ty ama’e ondatio, ze kilakila ondaty hanao aze soa-tata.
May his name endure forever; may his name continue as long as the sun shines. In him may all nations be blessed; may they call him blessed.
18 Andriaño t’Iehovà Andrianamboatse, Andrianañahare’ Israele, Ie avao ro manao raha tsitantane.
Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.
19 Bangoeñe nainai’e i tahina’e lifo-bolonahetsey; mañàtseke ty tane toy ty enge’e. Ie izay! naho Amena!
And blessed be His glorious name forever; may all the earth be filled with His glory. Amen and amen.
20 Migadoñe eo ty filolofa’ i Davide, ana’ Iesae.
Thus conclude the prayers of David son of Jesse.
