< Salamo 7 >
1 Ry Iehovà Andrianañahareko, Ihe ro fitsolohako, avotsoro amo mañoridañe ahikoo, le hahao;
A Psalm of David, which he sang to the Lord because of the words of Cush, the son of Jemini. O Lord, my God, in you I have hoped. Save me from all those who persecute me, and free me:
2 Tsy mone ho ritaritae’e hoe liona ty fiaiko, hirofodrofota’e tsy amam-pañolotse.
lest at any time, like a lion, he might seize my soul, while there is no one to redeem me, nor any who can save.
3 Ry Iehovà Andrianañahareko, naho nanoeko zao: lehe an-tañako ty hatsivokarañe,
O Lord, my God, if there is iniquity in my hands, if I have done this:
4 naho vinaleko haratiañe ty rañeko; (hera) nivoloseko tsy amam-poto’e ty nañembets’ ahy;
if I have repaid those who rendered evils to me, may I deservedly fall away empty before my enemies:
5 Le ho hotrohe’ ty rafelahiko, hiambotraha’e; ho lialià’e an-tane ty haveloko, vaho hado’e an-debok’ ao ty engeko. Selà
let the enemy pursue my soul, and take hold of it, and trample my life into the earth, and drag down my glory into the dust. (Pause)
6 Miongaha, ry Iehovà, an-kaviñera’o, miavota ty amo fitrotrofiaha’ o rafelahikoo. mivañona ty amako amy zaka kinoi’oy.
Rise up, Lord, in your anger. And be exalted to the borders of my enemies. And rise up, O Lord my God, according to the precept that you commanded,
7 Hiarikatok’ ama’o ty fivori’ ondatio, vaho mibaliha hifehea’o boak’añ’abo ey.
and a congregation of people will surround you. And, because of this, return on high.
8 Ry Iehovà Mpizaka o kilakila ‘ndatio; zakao iraho ry Iehovà, ty amy havantañako naho ty havañonako an-trok’ ao.
The Lord judges the people. Judge me, O Lord, according to my justice and according to my innocence within me.
9 Hijihetse ty haratia’ o lo-tserekeo naho hajado’o o vañoñeo, fa mpitsòke arofo naho ova t’i Andrianañahare vantañe.
The wickedness of sinners will be consumed, and you will direct the just: the examiner of hearts and temperaments is God.
10 Aman’Añahare ao ty fikalako Ie mpandrombake o vañon-trokeo.
Just is my help from the Lord, who saves the upright of heart.
11 Mpizaka to t’i Andrianañahare, Eka, torifike boak’ andro t’i Andrianañahare;
God is a just judge, strong and patient. How could he be angry throughout every day?
12 Aa naho tsy mimpoly t’indaty: le ho sioña’e i fibara’ey; fa navoho’e ty fale’e vaho nihajarie’e;
Unless you will be converted, he will brandish his sword. He has extended his bow and made it ready.
13 Fa nihentseñe’e fialiañe mahafate, ampibelabelae’ afo o ana-pàle’eo.
And with it, he has prepared instruments of death. He has produced his arrows for those on fire.
14 Hehe t’ie tsongoen-tsihavokarañe, ie nampiareñe kilily vaho hiterake i remborake;
Behold him who has given birth to injustice: he has conceived sorrow and has begotten iniquity.
15 Nihaly kobon-dre naho nampigorabahe’e, vaho tafajorobo amy hinali’ey.
He has opened a pit and enlarged it. And he has fallen into the hole that he made.
16 Toe hibalik’ an-doha’e avao ty fikitroha’e raty, vaho hivotrak’ an-kevo’e eo i nandovia’ey.
His sorrow will be turned upon his own head, and his iniquity will descend upon his highest point.
17 Andriañeko t’Iehovà ty amy havantaña’ey, ho bangoeko an-tsabo ty tahina’ Iehovà Andindimoneñe.
I will confess to the Lord according to his justice, and I will sing a psalm to the name of the Lord Most High.
