< Salamo 64 >
1 Janjiño ty feoko, ry Andrianañahare, ami’ty fitreontreoñako; ambeno ty fiaiko ami’ty fihembaña’e o rafelahio.
To the chief Musician, a Psalm of David. Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.
2 Aetaho iraho ami’ty fikililia’ o tsivokatseo; amo fikitrohan-drati’ o lo-tserekeo.
Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:
3 O maniom-pameleke hoe fibara vaho mañohatse entam-bola-mafaitse hoe t’ie ana-pale,
Who whet their tongue like a sword, [and] bend [their bows to shoot] their arrows, [even] bitter words:
4 hañohara’ iareo añ’etake ty vañoñe; tifire’iereo amy zao tsy aman-tahotse.
That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
5 Mifañosike t’ie mikitroke, mikinia hampibitrotse fandri-bo añ’etake, ami’ty hoe: Ia ty hahaisake?
They encourage themselves [in] an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who will see them?
6 Tsikarahe’ iereo ze tsihavokarañe, Fa nañeneke safiry soa lahatse. Toe miheotse ty añ’ova’ ondaty ao, naho ty arofo’e.
They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward [thought] of every one [of them], and the heart, [is] deep.
7 F’ie hañiririan’ Añahare ana-pale aniany avao le ho fere
But God shall shoot at them [with] an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
8 hampitsikapy iareo; sesehe’ o famele’iareo avao, songa mibioñe añe ty mahaisake iareo.
So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
9 Le hene hirevendreveñe ondatio, hitalily o fitoloñan’ Añahareo vaho hañarahara o tolon-draha’eo.
And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.
10 Hifale am’ Iehovà o vantañeo, hipalitse ama’e; vaho hene handrenge aze o mahity añ’arofoo.
The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
