< Salamo 62 >

1 I Andrianañahare avao ty fitamà’ ty fiaiko am-pitsiñañe, boak’ ama’e ty fandrombahañe ahy.
[For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthan. A Psalm by David.] My soul rests in God alone, for my salvation is from him.
2 Ie avao ro lamilamiko naho ty fandrombahañe ahy; i haboam-pipalirakoy; tsy hasiotsiotse iraho.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress—I will never be upended.
3 Pak’ombia ty ho boroboñafe’ areo t’indaty? Hanjevoa’areo iaby hoe t’ie rindriñe mitondritse, ndra kijoly migavengaveñe.
How long will you assault a man, would all of you throw him down, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
4 Ty hamotsahañe aze ami’ty haabo’e avao ro fikililia’ iareo: mpitea volam-bande; mitata am-palie, f’ie mamatse añ’ova ao Selà
They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
5 I Andrianañahare avao ty liñisa’o ampitsiñañe, ty fiaiko toy; boak’ ama’e ty fisalalàko.
My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
6 Ie avao ro lamilamiko naho fandrombahañe ahy; ty kijoliko abo; tsy hasiotse iraho.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be upended.
7 I Andrianañahare ty ampipohañe ty fandrombahañe ahy, naho ty engeko; ty lamilamin-kaozarako; fipalirako t’i Andrianañahare.
With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 Miatoa ama’e nainai’e, ondatio, adoaño añatrefa’e ty arofo’ areo; fitsolohan-tika t’i Andrianañahare. Selà
Trust in him at all times, O people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. (Selah)
9 Toe hakoahañe avao o ana’ i Dameo, lañitse o ana’ ondatio; ie atraok’ am-pilanjàñe eo, le maivañe te ami’ty kofòke.
Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
10 Ko iatoa’o ty fikatramoañe, naho ko manao fañirian-kafoake am-pikamerañe. Ndra te mionjoñe o varao ko ampirampian’ arofo.
Do not trust in oppression. Do not become vain in robbery. If riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
11 Nitsara indraike t’i Andrianañahare, tsinanoko indroe ty hoe: An’Andrianañahare o haozarañeo,
God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.
12 vaho ama’o, ry Talè, ty fiferenaiñañe, songa tambeze’o mañeva o fitoloña’eo t’i ondaty.
Also to you, LORD, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.
