< Salamo 60 >
1 Ry Andrianañahare nifarie’o, dinemo’o, nifomboa’o; ehe sotraho zahay.
[For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "The Lily of the Covenant." A teaching poem by David, when he fought with Aram Naharaim and with Aram Zobah, and Joab returned, and killed twelve thousand of Edom in the Valley of Salt.] God, you have rejected us. You have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us, again.
2 Nampiezeñezeñe’o ty tane; nabenta’o; melaño o jeba’eo, fa miozoñozoñe.
You have made the land tremble. You have torn it. Mend its fractures, for it quakes.
3 Nampahaoniña’o fisotriañe ondati’oo; nampitohofa’o divay mampivembèñe.
You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink the wine that makes us stagger.
4 Nanolora’o viloñe o mañeveñe ama’oo; honjoneñe ty ami’ty hatò. Selà
You have given a banner to those who fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth. (Selah)
5 Soa te ho hahàñe o kokoa’oo; rombaho am-pità’o havana; toiño iraho.
So that your beloved may be delivered, save with your right hand and answer me.
6 Nitsara ami’ty hamasiña’e t’i Andrianañahare: Hitreñe iraho, ho zaraeko ty Sekeme, vaho ho zeheko ty vavatane’ i Sokote;
God has spoken from his sanctuary: "I will triumph. I will divide Shechem, and measure out the Valley of Succoth.
7 ahiko t’i Gilàde, naho ahiko t’i Menasè; fiaron-dohako t’i Efraime, kobaiko t’Iehodà;
Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine. Ephraim also is the defense of my head. Judah is my scepter.
8 Koveta fisasako t’i Mòabe; fampipohan-kanako t’i Edome miroharohà ty amako, ry Pilisty.
Moab is my wash basin. I will throw my shoe on Edom. I shout in triumph over Philistia."
9 Ia ty hampihova ahy amy rova fatratsey? Ia ty hiaolo ahy mb’ Edome mb’eo?
Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me to Edom?
10 Tsy Ihe hao ry Andrianañahare ty nahafary anay? Tsy hitraofa’o fionjonañe hao, ry Andrianañahare o lahindefo’aio!
Haven't you, God, rejected us? You do not go out with our armies, God.
11 Oloro amy rafelahiy zahay, fa tsy vente’e ty fandrombaha’ ondatio.
Give us help against the adversary, for the help of man is vain.
12 I Andrianañahare ro fahareketa’ay, Ie ty handialia o rafelahi’aio.
Through God we shall do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.
