< Salamo 53 >
1 Hoe ty dagola an-tro’e ao: Tsy ao t’i Andrianañahare. Vàlañe iareo, mpanao hakeo mampangorý; leo raike tsy manao soa.
To the chief Musician upon Mahalath, Maschil, [A Psalm] of David. The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, and have done abominable iniquity: [there is] none that doeth good.
2 Jiloven’ Añahare boak’an-dikerañe ao o ana’ ondatio, hivazohoa’e ke ao ty mahilala, mpitsoek’ an’Andrianañahare.
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were [any] that did understand, that did seek God.
3 Songa niamboho, niharo naniva vatañe, tsy eo ty manao soa, leo raike.
Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; [there is] none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Tsy maharendreke hao o mpitolon-karatiañeo? o mampibotseke ondatiko hoe mitamboavokake mofo, vaho tsy mikanjy an’Andrianañahareo.
Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people [as] they eat bread! they have not called upon God.
5 Hehe t’ie mirevendreveñe, ndra te tsy eo ty mahahembañe; fa navarakain’ Añahare ty taola’ o nitobe hiatreatre azoo; nisalare’o, fa naforintsen’Añahare.
There they were in great fear, [where] no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth [against] thee: thou hast put [them] to shame, because God hath despised them.
6 Toe hiboake amy Tsiône ty fandrombahañe Israele! Ie hampolien’ Añahare ondati’e mirohio; Le hirebeke t’Iakobe, vaho hifale t’Israele.
O that the salvation of Israel [were come] out of Zion! when God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, [and] Israel shall be glad.
