< Salamo 41 >

1 Haha ty mañaoñe o rarakeo; ie ho votsore’ Iehovà an-tsan-kankàñe.
Blessed is he who considers the poor. Adonai will deliver him in the day of evil.
2 Harova’Iehovà le ho tana’e veloñe naho hatao’e haha amy taney eo, naho tsy apo’e an-tsatrin-tron-drafelahy
Adonai will preserve him, and keep him alive. He shall be blessed on the earth, and he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies.
3 Ho tohaña’ Iehovà amy tihy tindria’ey; hafote’o ho jangan-dre am-pandream-pisilofa’e eo.
Adonai will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness.
4 Aa naho izaho, hoe ty asako: ry Iehovà, Atariho, jangaño ty fiaiko, fa nandilarako.
I said, “Adonai, have mercy on me! Heal me, for I have sinned ·deviated (from the standard goal)· against you.”
5 Manambaitambaiñ’ ahy o rafelahikoo: ombia t’ie hikoromake, hihomaha’ i añara’ey?
My enemies speak evil against me: “When will he die, and his name perish?”
6 Ie mitilik’ ahy, manao rehan-dremborake; mangoroñe hakeo ama’e ty tro’e; ie miavotse, volañe’e.
If he comes to see me, he speaks falsehood. His heart gathers vain striving of iniquity to itself. When he goes abroad, he tells it.
7 Ivesovesoa’ o malaiñe ahy iabio, mikilily joy, ami’ty hoe:
All who hate me whisper together against me. They imagine the worst for me.
8 Mipitek’ ama’e ty bilokan-kokolampa; kanao mitsilañe re, tsy hitroatse ka.
“An evil disease,” they say, “has afflicted him. Now that he lies he shall rise up no more.”
9 Eka, ndra i rañeko nianteherakoy, i nikama i hanekoiy, fa nañonjo tomitse amako.
Yes, my own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, who ate bread with me, has lifted up his heel against me.
10 F’Ihe ry Iehovà, iferenaiño, vaho atroaro hamaleako iareo.
But you, Adonai, have mercy on me, and raise me up, that I may repay them.
11 Zao ty aharendrehako te no’o, t’ie tsy irohafa’ o rafelahikoo.
By this I know that you delight in me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.
12 Naho izaho, tozañe’o ami’ty havañonako, naho ampañatrefe’o laharañe amako nainai’e.
As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and set me in your presence forever.
13 Andriañeñe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’Israele, haehae vaho nainai’e donia. Amena naho Amena.
Blessed be Adonai, the God of Israel [God prevails], from everlasting and to everlasting! Amen v'Amen ·So be it and So be it·.
