< Salamo 3 >

1 Ry Iehovà, Akore ty fitomboa’ o mpamorefore ahikoo! Maro ty miongake hiatreatre ahy.
[A Psalm by David, when he fled from Absalom his son.] LORD, how my adversaries have increased. Many rise up against me.
2 Lako ty manao ty hoe ty amako: Tsy ama’e ty fandrombahan’ Añahare. Selà
Many there are who say of my soul, "There is no salvation for him in God." (Selah)
3 Fa Ihe, ry Iehovà, ro kalan-defo mañohoñ’ ahy, ty engeko naho ty Mpampiandra ty lohako.
But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
4 Ie koiheko am-peo t’Iehovà, le janjiñe’e amy vohi’e miavakey. Selà
I cried out to the LORD with my voice, and he answered me from his holy mountain. (Selah)
5 Màndre iraho vaho miroro; tsekake amy te mpañimba ahy t’Iehovà.
I lay down and slept. I awoke, for the LORD sustains me.
6 Tsy hembañako i lahiale miarikoboñe hiatreatre ahikoy.
I am not afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me on every side.
7 Miongaha, ry Iehovà! Rombaho iraho ry Andrianañahareko, fa fonga tinampifi’o ty valañorà’ o rafelahikoo; vaho pinekapeka’o ty nife’ o lo-tserekeo.
Arise, LORD. Save me, my God. For you slap all my enemies in the face. You break the teeth of the wicked.
8 Am’ Iehovà ty fandrombahañe; naho am’ondati’oo ty fitahia’o. Selà
Salvation belongs to the LORD. Your blessing is upon your people. (Selah)
