< Salamo 27 >
1 Hazavàko naho fandrombahako t’Iehovà, ia ty ihembañako? Fipaliram-piaiko t’Iehovà, ia ty hirevendreveñako?
Adonai is my light and my yesha' ·salvation·. Whom shall I fear? Adonai is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 Ie niambotrak’ amako o lo-tserekeo hampibotseke o nofokoo; le nitsikapy vaho nikorovoke o malaiñ’ahio naho o rafelahikoo.
When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.
3 Ndra te hitobe hiatreatre ahy ty firimboñañe, tsy ho vorombeloñe ty troko; ndra te hitroatse amako ty hotakotake, mbe hitam-patokisañe.
Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.
4 Raha raike ty nihalalieko am’ Iehovà, izay ty ho paiaeko: ty hitobohako añ’anjomba’ Iehovà ao ze hene andro ivelomako, hahatrea ty hasoa-vinta’ Iehovà, vaho hañontàne añ’akiba’e ao.
One thing I have asked of Adonai, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in Adonai’s house all the days of my life, to see Adonai’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.
5 Ampipalira’e an-kijà’e ao t’ie an-tsam-poheke, akafi’e am-poreforetan-Kivoho’e ao; ampitongoa’e andigiligin-damilamy eo.
For in the day of trouble he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the cover of his tabernacle he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.
6 Aa le honjoneñ’ ambone’ o rafelahiko miariseho ahio ty lohako. vaho ho banabanako soroñe an-drebeke mb’an-kivoho’e ao; ho saboako, eka ho rengèko an-tsabo t’Iehovà.
Now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in his tent. I will sing, yes, I will sing zahmar ·musical praise· to Adonai.
7 Janjiño ry Iehovà, naho ikaihako am-peo! Iferenaiño vaho toiño.
Sh'ma ·Hear obey·, Adonai, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also on me, and answer me.
8 Nitaroñe’o ami’ty foko ty hoe: Paiao ty tareheko; toe ho tsoeheko ty vinta’o, ry Iehovà.
When you said, “Seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, Adonai.”
9 Ko aetak’ amako ty lahara’o; ko apo’o an-kaviñerañe ty mpitoro’o, Ihe mpañolotse ahy; le ko aitoa’o, naho ko farie’o ry Andrianañaharem- pandrombahañe ahiko.
Don’t hide your face from me. Don’t put your servant away in anger. You have been my help. Don’t abandon me, neither forsake me, God of my yesha' ·salvation·.
10 Ndra t’ie nadon-drae naho rene, ho rambese’ Iehovà.
When my father and my mother forsake me, then Adonai will take me up.
11 Anaro ahy ty lala’o, ry Iehovà vaho tehafo mb’an-dalañe mira ty amo rafelahikoo.
Teach me your way, Adonai. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.
12 Ko asese’o an-tsatri’ o malaiñ’ ahio; fa atretréo o mpanara vandeo, naho o mikofòke hasiahañeo.
Don’t deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty.
13 Hete! atokisako te ho treako an-tanen-kaveloñe ao ty hasoa’ Iehovà—
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Adonai in the land of the living.
14 Itamao t’Iehovà, mihaozara, le mihafatrara arofo; eka, liñiso t’Iehovà.
Wait for Adonai. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Adonai.
