Salamo 24
1 A Iehovà ty tane toy naho ty halifora’e, ty voatse toy, naho o mpimoneñe ama’eo;
The earth and everything in it belongs to Yahweh; all the people in the world belong to him, too,
2 Fa najado’e ambone’ o riakeo, vaho naore’e am-pisorotombahañe eo.
because he caused the ground to be above the water, above the water that was deep below the surface of the earth.
3 Ia ty hahafitroatse mb’am-bohi’ Iehovà ey? Ia ty hijohañe an-toe’e miavake ao?
Who will be allowed to go up on Zion Hill [in Jerusalem], in order to stand [and worship] in Yahweh’s holy temple?
4 Ty amam-pitàñe malio naho amañ’arofo ki’e, tsy mañonjoñe ty fiai’e mb’ami’ty tsy vente’e, vaho tsy mifanta am-pamañahiañe.
[Only] those whose actions [MTY] and thoughts are pure, who have not worshiped idols, and who do not tell lies when they have solemnly promised [to tell the truth].
5 Handrambe fitahiañe am’ Iehovà re, naho havantañañe amy Andrianañaharem-pandrombahañe azey.
(They will be blessed by Yahweh/Yahweh will bless them). When God [judges them], he, who has saved them, will say that they (have done nothing wrong/are without fault).
6 Izay ty tarira’ o mipay Azeo, ie mitsoeke ty lahara’o— Iakobe ‘nio. Selà
They are the ones who approach God, they are the ones who may worship God, the one [we] Israelis worship.
7 Ampiandrao o loha’ areoo, ry lalambey! Miongaha, ry lalañe haehaeo! Hiziliha’ i Mpanjaka rengeñey.
Open up [APO] the [temple] gates in order that our glorious king may enter!
8 Ia i Mpanjaka rengeñey? Iehovà maozatse naho fatratse, Iehovà Lahifihatiy.
[Do you know] who the glorious king is? He is Yahweh, the one who is very strong [DOU]; He is Yahweh, who conquers [all his enemies] in battles!
9 Ampiandrao o loha’ areoo, ry lalambey! Eka, miongaha, ry lalañe haehaeo! Hiziliha’ i Mpanjaka rengeñey.
Open up the [temple] gates in order that our glorious king may enter!
10 Ia i Mpanjaka rengeñey? Iehovà’ i Màroy, Ie ty Mpanjaka rengeñe. Selà
[Do you know] who the glorious king is? He is Yahweh almighty; he is our glorious king!
