< Salamo 23 >
1 Mpiarak’ ahy t’Iehovà, tsy hieran-draho;
“A psalm of David.” The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
2 Ampandrea’e an-dovoke maindoñe ao, tehafe’e mb’añ’olon-drano mipendreñe mb’eo.
In pastures of tender grass he causeth me to lie down: beside still waters he leadeth me.
3 Vaòe’e ty fiaiko, iaoloa’e mb’an-dalam-bantañe, ty amy tahina’ey.
My soul he refresheth: he guideth me in the tracks of righteousness for the sake of his name.
4 Ndra t’ie miranga i vatanen- talinjon-kavilasiy, tsy ho hemban-karatiañe amy te Ihe ro amako; mpañohò ahiko ty kobai’o naho ty fitoño’o.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear evil; for thou art with me: thy rod and thy staff—they indeed comfort me.
5 Halànkañe’o fandambañañe aoloko añatrefan-drafelahiko eo; añiliña’o solike ty lohako, mandopatse ty fitoviko.
Thou preparest before me a table in the presence of my assailants; thou anointest with oil my head: my cup overfloweth.
6 Toe hañorik’ ahy amo hene andro hivelomakoo ty hasoa naho ty fiferenaiñañe; le hitobok’ añ’anjomba’ Iehovà ao nainai’e.
Surely, only goodness and kindness shall follow me all the days of my life: and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord to the utmost length of days.
