< Salamo 20 >
1 Hanoiñ’azo an-tsan-kasotriañe t’Iehovà, hañonjoñ’ azo ankaboañe ey ty tahinan’ Añahare’ Iakobe.
To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Jehovah answer thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob protect thee;
2 Hañitrifa’e imba boak’amy toe-miavakey hanohañ’ azo hirik’e Tsiône ao.
May he send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Ho tiahi’e o enga-mahakama iabio, vaho hiantofa’e o fisoroña’oo! Selà
Remember all thine oblations, and accept thy burnt-offering; (Selah)
4 Hatolots’ azo ze salalan’ arofo’o le ho henefeñe iaby o ereñere’oo.
Grant thee according to thy heart, and fulfil all thy counsels.
5 Ho poñafe’ay rebeke ty fandrombaha’o, ty tahinan’Añahare’ay ro añelahelà’ay kobaiñe; ho henefa’ Iehovà abey o halali’oo.
We will triumph in thy salvation, and in the name of our God will we set up our banners. Jehovah fulfil all thy petitions!
6 Apotako henaneo, te ho rombahe’ Iehovà i noriza’ey; ho toiñe’e boak’ an-dindi’e masiñe ao, amy haozaram-pandrombaha’ i fitàn-kavana’eiy.
Now know I that Jehovah saveth his anointed; he answereth him from the heavens of his holiness, with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Miato an-tsarete o ila’eo, an-tsoavala ka ty ila’e; fa ho tiahi’ay ty tahina’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ay.
Some make mention of chariots, and some of horses, but we of the name of Jehovah our God.
8 Nibokoke iereo naho nikorovoke mitroatse zahay vaho mijohañe.
They are bowed down and fallen; but we are risen and stand upright.
9 Rombaho, ry Iehovà; hanoiñe abey i mpanjakay te kanjie’ay!
Save, Jehovah! Let the king answer us in the day we call.
