< Salamo 16 >
1 Tambozoro iraho, ry Andrianañahare, toe ama’o ty fitsolohako.
Michtam of David. Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
2 Ty hoe ty tinaroko am’ Iehovà: Ihe ro Talèko, izaho tsy aman-kasoa naho tsy ama’o.
[O my soul], thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou [art] my Lord: my goodness [extendeth] not to thee;
3 O noro’e an-tane atoio: ie ro talango’e, toe mampinembanembañe ahiko.
[But] to the saints that [are] in the earth, and [to] the excellent, in whom [is] all my delight.
4 Hampitomboeñe ty hasotria’ ze mihitrike mb’an-tsamposampo’e añe; tsy hailiko ty engan-dranon-dio’iareo, le tsy ho rambesen-tsoñiko o añara’ iareoo.
Their sorrows shall be multiplied [that] hasten [after] another [god: ] their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
5 Iehovà ro anjara-lovako naho ty fitoviko. Tohañe’o ty navike ho ahiko.
The LORD [is] the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6 An-toetse fanjaka ty nipoha’ o taly ho ahikoo; Eka, soa i lovakoy.
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant [places; ] yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7 Andriañeko t’Iehovà mpamere ahiko, ie haleñe, anare’ ty troko.
I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8 Najadoko aoloko nainai’e t’Iehovà. Ie ty an-tañako havana eo, tsy higavingaviñe.
I have set the LORD always before me: because [he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9 Aa le tsy mahay avao ty troko, vaho mirebeke ty havokarako; mierañerañe ka ty sandriko,
Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10 amy te tsy hapo’o an-tsikeokeok’ ao ty fiaiko, vaho tsy hado’o hahaoni-pihomahañe i Masi’oy. (Sheol )
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (Sheol )
11 Ampaharofoana’o ahiko ty lalan-kaveloñe; lifotse hafaleañe ty añatrefa’o; haravoravoañe nainai’e ro am-pitàn-kavana’o.
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore.
