< Salamo 147 >
1 Treño t’Ià! Amy te soa ty fijejoañe aman’ Añaharentika; toe fanjàka naho mañeva ty fandrengeañe Aze.
Praise the Lord, for it's good to sing praises to our God! Praise is wonderful and beautiful!
2 Ampitomboe’ Iehovà t’Ierosalaime: atonto’e o añombelahi-mavo’ o nte-Israeleoo.
The Lord is rebuilding Jerusalem, gathering together the people of Israel who have been scattered.
3 Jangane’e ty mikoretse añ’arofo, ho bandie’e o fere’eo.
He heals the broken-hearted, and bandages the wounded.
4 Volilie’e ty ia’ o vasiañeo; songa kanjie’e ami’ty añara’e.
He knows how many stars he made, and commands all of them by name.
5 Jabahinake i Talèn-tikañey, ra’elahy an-kafatrarañe; tsy taka-jehèñe ty hilala’e.
Our Lord is great! His power is immense! There's no limit to what he understands!
6 Tohaña’ Iehovà o mirèkeo, gorè’e an-tane ty lo-tsereke.
The Lord helps those who are bowed down to get up; but he grinds the wicked into the ground.
7 Sabò am-pañandriañañe t’Iehovà; Rengeo t’i Andrianañahare am-piarahañe marovany,
Sing thanks to the Lord! Sing praises to our God with a harp!
8 Ie ty mpandafike rahoñe an-dikerañe eñe, naho mpañajary orañe an-tane atoy, naho mampitiry ahetse am-bohitse ey.
He covers the sky with clouds to bring rain to the earth, and makes the grass grow on the hills.
9 Fahana’e hàneñe o bibio, naho o ana-koàke migagakeo.
He gives food to the animals, and to the baby ravens when they call.
10 Tsy ty haozara’ o soavalao ty mahahaha Aze, tsy ty kitson-dahilahy ro ifalea’e.
The Lord doesn't appreciate the strength of war-horses or value human power.
11 Ondaty mañeveñe ama’eo ro noro’ Iehovà, o mpitamà ty hafatram-pikokoa’eo.
What the Lord values are those who follow him, those who put their confidence in his trustworthy love.
12 Rengeo t’Iehovà, ry Ierosalaime; onjono t’i Andrianañahare’o, ry Tsiône.
Jerusalem, praise the Lord! Zion, praise your God!
13 Fa nampifatrare’e o sikadan-dalam-bei’oo; tahie’e o ajalahy ama’oo.
He makes the bars on your city gates strong, and blesses your children around you.
14 Ampierañerañe’e o efe-tane’oo, vaho ampieneña’e ampemba soa.
He keeps the borders of your land safe from attack; he provides you with plenty of the finest wheat.
15 Ahitri’e mb’an-tane atoy o fetse’eo, mipirirìtse o taro’eo.
He sends his commands around the world—they're quickly implemented.
16 Anjotsoa’e oram-panala hoe volon’ añondry; afiafia’e hoe lavenoke ty fanala.
He sends snow as white as wool, and scatters frost like ashes.
17 Afitse’e ami’ty minjikio’e ty havandra’e, ia ty mahafijohañe miatreke ty fangoratsaha’e.
He throws hail like stones. Who can stand the cold he sends?
18 Irahe’e mb’eo o tsara’eo le mitranake iereo; ampitiofe’e o tio’eo, vaho ampidoañe’e rano.
Then he sends out his command and it melts; he blows on it and the water flows.
19 Talilie’e am’ Iakobe ty tsara’e; am’ Israele o fañè’eo naho o fepè’eo.
He proclaims his word to Jacob; his rules and laws to Israel.
20 Tsy nanoe’e izay o tane ila’eo; tsy fohi’ iereo o nafè’eo. Treño t’Ià.
He has not done this for any other nation—they don't know his laws. Praise the Lord!
