< Salamo 138 >

1 Sabo’ i Davide Andriañeko irehe ry Iehovà, an-kaliforan-troke, ho saboeko añatrefa’ o jomakeo.
David’s. I will give thee thanks with all my heart, Before the messengers of God, will I praise thee in song:
2 Mibotreke mb’amy anjomba’o miavakey raho naho mibango ty tahina’o ty amy fiferenaiña’o naho ty hatò’o, amy te nonjone’o i tsara’oy, i tahina’oy ambone’ ze he’e.
I will bow down towards thy holy temple, and thank thy Name, for thy lovingkindness and for thy faithfulness, For thou hast magnified, above all thy Name, thy word!
3 Nanoiñe ahiko irehe amy andro nitokavekoy; nosihe’o an-kaozarañe ty fiaiko.
In the day I cried unto thee, then didst thou answer me, and didst excite me, in my soul, mightily.
4 Hañandriañ’ Azo ze hene mpanjaka’ ty tane toy, r’Iehovà, naho janjiñe’iereo o entam-palie’oo.
All the kings of the earth, will thank thee, O Yahweh, when they have heard the sayings of thy mouth;
5 Ho saboe’ iereo o lala’ Iehovào, fa ra’elahy ty enge’ Iehovà.
And they will sing of the ways of Yahweh, That great is the glory of Yahweh:
6 Ndra te onjoneñe t’Iehovà, mbe haoñe’e ty mireke, le arofoana’e o mpirengevokeo.
Though lofty is Yahweh, yet, the lowly, he regardeth, but, the haughty—afar off, doth he acknowledge.
7 Ndra t’ie manjenge añivo’ o faloviloviañeo, Ihe ro mameloñe ahiko, atorakitsi’o mb’ami’ty haboseha’ o rafelahikoo ty fità’o, vaho mandrombak’ahy ty fità’o havana.
Though I walk in the midst of distress, thou wilt give me life, —Because of the anger of my foes, thou wilt thrust forth thy hand, and thy right hand, will save me:
8 Ho henefe’ Iehovà ty nisafirie’e ho ahy, nainai’e, ry Iehovà ty fiferenaiña’o, ko ado’o o tolom-pità’oo.
Yahweh, will carry through my cause, —O Yahweh! thy lovingkindness, is age-abiding, The works of thine own hands, do not thou desert.
