< Salamo 122 >
1 Nandia-taroba iraho, te nanoa’ iereo ty hoe: Antao hiheo mb’añ’anjomba’ Iehovà.
“A song of the degrees by David.” I was rejoiced when they said unto me, Unto the house of the Lord let us go.
2 Fa mijohañe amo lalam-bei’oo ty fandia’ay, ry Ierosalaime!
Our feet are now standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem!
3 Hehe t’Ierosalaime, rova niranjieñe soa-fifamatotse.
Jerusalem, which art built as a city wherein all associate together.
4 Ie ty ionjona’ o rofòkoo, o rofòko’ Ià-o, ty amy nitaroñañe am’ Israeley, hañandriaña’iareo ty tahina’ Iehovà.
For thither go up the tribes of the Lord, as a testimony for Israel, to give thanks unto the name of the Lord.
5 Ao ty nampitroarañe fiambesam-pizakàñe, o fiambesa’ i tarira’ i Davideio.
For there are placed chairs for [giving] judgment, the chairs for the house of David.—
6 Mihalalia fañanintsiñe am’Ierosalaime: hiraorao o mikoko Azoo.
Pray ye for the peace of Jerusalem; may those that love thee prosper.
7 Fañanintsiñe ty ho an-kijoli’o ao, naho fierañerañañe amo anjomba’o mitiotiotseo.
May there be peace within thy walls, prosperity within thy palaces,
8 O longokoo naho o rañekoo, le hataoko ty hoe: Fañanintsiñe ama’o.
For the sake of my brethren and my friends, let me now speak, Peace be within thee.
9 I anjomba’ Iehovà Andrianañaharentikañey, ho paiako ty hampibodobodo azo.
For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, will I seek thy good.
