< Salamo 120 >

1 Izaho niampoheke, le nikanjy Iehovà, vaho tinoi’e.
In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2 O ry Iehovà, apitsoho an-tsoñin-dremborake ty fiaiko, boak’ ami’ty lela mamañahy.
Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3 Inon-ty homeañ’ azo, ino ka ty hanoeñe ama’o ty lela letra’e tia?
What shall be given unto you? or what shall be done unto you, you false tongue?
4 ana-pale masiom-panalolahy, naho forohan’ andrabey!
Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5 Hankàñe amako te mañialo e Mèseke añe, naho ty fimoneñako an-kiboho’ i Kedàre ao!
Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6 Loho hatr’ela’e ty nitraofam-piaiko ami’ty kivoho’ o malaim-pilongoañeo.
My soul has long dwelt with him that hates peace.
7 Toe mpitea filongoan-draho; fa ie ivolañako, aly avao ty onjone’ iereo.
I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war.
