< Salamo 119 >
1 Haha o vantañe amy lia’eio, o mañavelo amy Hà’Iehovàio.
Alleluia. Blessed are the immaculate in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Haha o miambeñe o taro’eoo, ty mitsoek’ aze an-kaliforañ’ arofo;
Blessed are those who examine his testimonies. They seek him with their whole heart.
3 Tsy manao ty hatsivokarañe t’ie manonjohy o lala’eo.
For those who work iniquity have not walked in his ways.
4 Fa najado’o o fepè’oo hañorihan-tika an-joton-troke.
You have ordered your commandments to be kept most diligently.
5 Hizoañe abey o liakoo, hañambenako o fañè’oo!
I wish that my ways may be directed so as to keep your justifications.
6 Le tsy ho salaren-draho naho hotsohotsoeko iaby o fepè’oo,
Then I will not be confounded, when I will look into all your commandments.
7 Handriañeko irehe an-kalio-troke, handrendreke o fizaka’o too.
I will confess to you with honesty of heart. In this way, I have learned the judgments of your justice.
8 Hambenako o fañè’oo; ko farie’o zafe-anake.
I will keep your justifications. Do not utterly abandon me.
9 Akore ty hañaliova’ ty ajalahy i lia’ey? hambena’e amo tsara’oo.
By what does an adolescent correct his way? By keeping to your words.
10 Nitsoeheko irehe an-kaàmpon-troke; vontitiro iraho tsy handifike o fepè’oo.
With my whole heart, I have sought you. Do not let me be driven away from your commandments.
11 Fa nahajako an-trok’ ao o saontsi’oo tsy handilatse ama’o.
I have hidden your eloquence in my heart, so that I may not sin against you.
12 Andriañen-dRehe, ry Iehovà; anaro ahy o fañè’oo.
Blessed are you, O Lord. Teach me your justifications.
13 Nitaroñe’ o soñikoo ze hene fizakam-palie’o.
With my lips, I have pronounced all the judgments of your mouth.
14 Firebehako ty lala’ o taro’oo hambañ’ amy ze atao vara iaby.
I have been delighted in the way of your testimonies, as if in all riches.
15 Ho tsatsiheko o fepè’oo, vaho ho biribirieko o lala’oo.
I will be trained in your commandments, and I will consider your ways.
16 Hifaleako o fañè’oo, tsy handikofako o tsara’oo.
I will meditate on your justifications. I will not forget your words.
17 Matariha amy mpitoro’oy, hahaveloñ’ ahy hañorike o tsara’oo.
Repay your servant, revive me; and I will keep your words.
18 Sokafo o masokoo hahatrea raha fanjaka amy Tsara’oy.
Reveal to my eyes, and I will consider the wonders of your law.
19 Mpitaveañe an-tane atoy iraho; ko aeta’o amako o fandilia’oo.
I am a sojourner on the earth. Do not hide your commandments from me.
20 Demoke ty fiaiko salalakeo lomoñandro o fizaka’oo.
My soul has longed to desire your justifications at all times.
21 Trevohe’o o mpitrotroabokeo— o fokompàtse mandridrìke amo fetse’oo.
You have rebuked the arrogant. Those who decline from your commandments are accursed.
22 Asitaho amako ty rabioñe naho ty teratera, fa ambenako o taro’oo.
Take me away from disgrace and contempt, for I have sought your testimonies.
23 Ndra te mitoboke, mikabo-draha amako o roandriañeo, mininike o fañè’oo ty mpitoro’o.
For even the leaders sat and spoke against me. But your servant has been trained in your justifications.
24 Eka, mahaehak’ ahy o taro’oo; toe mpamere ahy.
For your testimonies are also my (meditation) and your justifications are my counsel.
25 Mipitek’ an-debok’ ao ty fiaiko; ampisotrafo amo tsara’oo.
My soul has adhered to the pavement. Revive me according to your word.
26 Ie nataliliko o satakoo, le natoi’o, anaro ahy o fañè’oo.
I have declared my ways, and you have heeded me. Teach me your justifications.
27 Ampaharendreho ahy ty lala’ o fepè’oo, hitsakoreako o fitoloña’o fanjàkao.
Instruct me in the way of your justifications, and I will be trained in your wonders.
28 Mitronake am’ anahelo ty fiaiko; ampahozaro amo tsara’oo.
My soul has slumbered because of weariness. Confirm me in your words.
29 Ampisitaho amako ty lalan-dremborake; atorò ahy am-patarihañe o Tsara’oo.
Remove the way of iniquity from me, and have mercy on me by your law.
30 Fa jinoboko ty lalam-pigahiñañe, naho fa nalahako o fizakà’oo.
I have chosen the way of truth. I have not forgotten your judgments.
31 Ie mipitek’ amo taro’oo; ry Iehovà, ko anga’o ho salareñe.
I have adhered to your testimonies, O Lord. Do not be willing to confound me.
32 Hilaisako ty lala’ o fandilia’oo, amy t’ie nanibake ty troko.
I have run by way of your commandments, when you enlarged my heart.
33 Anaro ahy, ry Iehovà, ty lala’ o fañè’oo; le horiheko pak’ am-pigadoñako.
O Lord, place the law before me, the way of your justifications, and I will always inquire into it.
34 Omeo hilala iraho, hañambenako o Tsara’oo, le horiheko an-kaliforan-troke.
Give me understanding, and I will examine your law. And I will keep it with my whole heart.
35 Ampandiao ahy ty oloñolo’ o fandilia’oo, amy t’ie mahafale ty troko.
Lead me according to the path of your commandments, for I have desired this.
36 Ampitokilaño amo fañè’oo ty troko tsy hitomboa’e am-patitiañe.
Bend my heart with your testimonies, and not with avarice.
37 Avioño o masokoo tsy hañente ty tsy vente’e; ampahimbaño amo lala’oo.
Turn my eyes away, lest they see what is vain. Revive me in your way.
38 Henefo amy mpitoro’oy o saontsi’oo, ty amy fañeveñako ama’o.
Station your eloquence with your servant, along with your fear.
39 Ahankaño añe ty ìnje’ o mampangebahebak’ ahikoo, amy te soa o fizakà’oo.
Cut off my disgrace, which I have taken up, for your judgments are delightful.
40 Hete! salalaeko o fepè’oo! ihetsefo amo fahiti’oo.
Behold, I have longed for your commandments. Revive me in your fairness.
41 Ampombao amako ty fiferenaiña’o ry Iehovà, ty fandrombaha’o ty amo saontsi’oo;
And let your mercy overwhelm me, O Lord: your salvation according to your eloquence.
42 hahafitoiñako ty mañorohoro ahiko, fa iatoako o tsara’oo.
And I will respond to those who reproach me by word, for I have hoped in your words.
43 Ko sintone’o am-bavako ty tsara-to, fa salalaeko o nafè’oo,
And do not utterly take away the word of truth from my mouth. For in your judgments, I have hoped beyond hope.
44 Le hambenako lomoñandro o Tsara’oo, eka, nainai’e donia;
And I will always keep your law, in this age and forever and ever.
45 Hijelanjelañe am-pidadàñe iraho, amy te hotsohotsoeko o fepè’oo.
And I have wandered far and wide, because I was seeking your commandments.
46 Ho talilieko añatrefam-panjaka o taro’oo le tsy ho salatse,
And I spoke of your testimonies in the sight of kings, and I was not confounded.
47 Hifaleako o fandilia’oo toe kokoako.
And I meditated on your commandments, which I loved.
48 Zonjoñeko amo fandilia’oo o tañakoo, fa kokoako, vaho haereñereko o fañè’o.
And I lifted up my hands to your commandments, which I loved. And I was trained in your justifications.
49 Tiahio i nitsaraeñe amy mpitoro’oiy, amy t’ie nampitamae’o.
Be mindful of your word to your servant, by which you have given me hope.
50 Zao ty mampanintsiñe ahy amo faloviloviakoo, te nahajangañe ahy o saontsi’oo.
This has consoled me in my humiliation, for your word has revived me.
51 Mitolom-piteratera ahy o mpirengevokeo, fe tsy mivik’ amo Tsara’oo iraho.
The arrogant act altogether iniquitously, but I have not turned aside from your law.
52 Tiahiko o fizakà’o haehaeo, ry Iehovà, fa nahaeneñ’ ahy.
I called to mind your judgments of antiquity, O Lord, and I was consoled.
53 Filoroloro-mena ty mamihiñe ahiko ty amo lo-tsereke mampipoke i Tsara’oio.
Faintness has taken hold of me, because of the sinners, those who abandon your law.
54 O fañè’oo ro fisaboako an-kialo fitaveañako.
Your justifications were the subject of my worthy singing, in the place of my pilgrimage.
55 Tiahiko ami’ty haleñe ty tahina’o ry Iehovà, vaho oriheko o Tsara’oo.
During the night, I remembered your name, O Lord, and I kept your law.
56 Zao ty ahy te ambenako o fepè’oo.
This has happened to me because I sought your justifications.
57 Iehovà ro anjarako; fa nifanta t’ie hañorike o tsara’oo.
O Lord, my portion, I have said that I would keep your law.
58 Fa nipaiako an-kaampon-troke ty fañisoha’o; tretrezo raho ty amo nampitama’oo.
I have beseeched your face with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word.
59 Nitsakoreko o liakoo le nampitoliheko mb’amo taro’oo o tombokoo.
I have considered my ways, and I have turned my feet toward your testimonies.
60 Nalisa iraho tsy nihenekeneke hañambeñe o fandilia’oo.
I have been prepared, and I have not been disturbed, so that I may keep your commandments.
61 Mamejañe ahiko ty hafo’ o lo-tserekeo, fe tsy andikofako o Tsara’oo.
The ropes of the impious have encircled me, and I have not forgotten your law.
62 Mitroatse antetsalen-draho hañandriañe Azo ty amo fizakà’o vantañeo.
I arose in the middle of the night to confess to you, over the judgments of your justification.
63 Ràñeko o mañeveñe ama’o iabio, naho o mpañorike o fepè’oo.
I am a partaker with all those who fear you and who keep your commandments.
64 Lifotse ty fiferenaiña’o ty tane toy, ry Iehovà; anaro ahy o fañè’oo.
The earth, O Lord, is full of your mercy. Teach me your justifications.
65 Fa nisoae’o ty mpitoro’o, ry Iehovà, ty amo enta’oo.
You have done well with your servant, O Lord, according to your word.
66 Anaro hilala naho hihitse, amy te atokisako o fandilia’oo.
Teach me goodness and discipline and knowledge, for I have trusted your commandments.
67 Nandifike hey iraho le nalovilovy, fe ifaharako o saontsi’oo henane zao.
Before I was humbled, I committed offenses; because of this, I have kept to your word.

You are good, so in your goodness teach me your justifications.
69 Mamoroñe vande amako o mpinefonefokeo, fe hene ahajako an-troke ao o fepè’oo.
The iniquity of the arrogant has been multiplied over me. Yet I will examine your commandments with all my heart.
70 Vondrake hoe sabora ty tro’ iareo, fe mahanembanembañ’ ahiko o Tsara’oo.
Their heart has been curdled like milk. Truly, I have meditated on your law.

The iniquitous have spoken fables to me. But these are unlike your law.
