< Salamo 119 >

1 Haha o vantañe amy lia’eio, o mañavelo amy Hà’Iehovàio.
Alleluia. Blessed are the blameless in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
2 Haha o miambeñe o taro’eoo, ty mitsoek’ aze an-kaliforañ’ arofo;
Blessed are they that search out his testimonies: they will diligently seek him with the whole heart.
3 Tsy manao ty hatsivokarañe t’ie manonjohy o lala’eo.
For they that work iniquity have not walked in his ways.
4 Fa najado’o o fepè’oo hañorihan-tika an-joton-troke.
You have commanded [us] diligently to keep your precepts.
5 Hizoañe abey o liakoo, hañambenako o fañè’oo!
O that my ways were directed to keep your ordinances.
6 Le tsy ho salaren-draho naho hotsohotsoeko iaby o fepè’oo,
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all your commandments.
7 Handriañeko irehe an-kalio-troke, handrendreke o fizaka’o too.
I will give you thanks with uprightness of heart, when I have learnt the judgements of your righteousness.
8 Hambenako o fañè’oo; ko farie’o zafe-anake.
I will keep your ordinances: O forsake me not greatly.
9 Akore ty hañaliova’ ty ajalahy i lia’ey? hambena’e amo tsara’oo.
Wherewith shall a young man direct his way? by keeping your words.
10 Nitsoeheko irehe an-kaàmpon-troke; vontitiro iraho tsy handifike o fepè’oo.
With my whole heart have I diligently sought you: cast me not away from your commandments.
11 Fa nahajako an-trok’ ao o saontsi’oo tsy handilatse ama’o.
I have hidden your oracles in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
12 Andriañen-dRehe, ry Iehovà; anaro ahy o fañè’oo.
Blessed are you, O Lord: teach me your ordinances.

16 Hifaleako o fañè’oo, tsy handikofako o tsara’oo.
I will meditate on your ordinances: I will not forget your words.
17 Matariha amy mpitoro’oy, hahaveloñ’ ahy hañorike o tsara’oo.
Render a recompense to your servant: [so] shall I live, and keep your words.
18 Sokafo o masokoo hahatrea raha fanjaka amy Tsara’oy.
Unveil you mine eyes, and I shall perceive wondrous things of your law.

I am a stranger in the earth: hide not your commandments from me.
20 Demoke ty fiaiko salalakeo lomoñandro o fizaka’oo.
My soul has longed exceedingly for your judgements at all times.
21 Trevohe’o o mpitrotroabokeo— o fokompàtse mandridrìke amo fetse’oo.
You have rebuked the proud: cursed are they that turn aside from your commandments.
22 Asitaho amako ty rabioñe naho ty teratera, fa ambenako o taro’oo.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have sought out your testimonies.
23 Ndra te mitoboke, mikabo-draha amako o roandriañeo, mininike o fañè’oo ty mpitoro’o.
For princes sat and spoke against me: but your servant was meditating on your ordinances.
24 Eka, mahaehak’ ahy o taro’oo; toe mpamere ahy.
For your testimonies are my (meditation) and your ordinances are my counsellors.
25 Mipitek’ an-debok’ ao ty fiaiko; ampisotrafo amo tsara’oo.
My soul has cleaved to the ground; quicken you me according to your word.
26 Ie nataliliko o satakoo, le natoi’o, anaro ahy o fañè’oo.

Instruct me in the way of your ordinances; and I will meditate on your wondrous works.
28 Mitronake am’ anahelo ty fiaiko; ampahozaro amo tsara’oo.
My soul has slumbered for sorrow; strengthen you me with your words.
29 Ampisitaho amako ty lalan-dremborake; atorò ahy am-patarihañe o Tsara’oo.
Remove from me the way of iniquity; and be merciful to me by your law.
30 Fa jinoboko ty lalam-pigahiñañe, naho fa nalahako o fizakà’oo.
I have chosen the way of truth; and have not forgotten your judgements.
31 Ie mipitek’ amo taro’oo; ry Iehovà, ko anga’o ho salareñe.
I have cleaved to your testimonies, O Lord; put me not to shame.
32 Hilaisako ty lala’ o fandilia’oo, amy t’ie nanibake ty troko.

33 Anaro ahy, ry Iehovà, ty lala’ o fañè’oo; le horiheko pak’ am-pigadoñako.
Teach me, O Lord, the way of your ordinances, and I will seek it out continually.
34 Omeo hilala iraho, hañambenako o Tsara’oo, le horiheko an-kaliforan-troke.
Instruct me, and I will search out your law, and will keep it with my whole heart.
35 Ampandiao ahy ty oloñolo’ o fandilia’oo, amy t’ie mahafale ty troko.
Guide me in the path of your commandments; for I have delighted in it.

Turn away mine eyes that I may not behold vanity: quicken you me in your way.
38 Henefo amy mpitoro’oy o saontsi’oo, ty amy fañeveñako ama’o.
Confirm your oracle to your servant, that he may fear you.
39 Ahankaño añe ty ìnje’ o mampangebahebak’ ahikoo, amy te soa o fizakà’oo.
Take away my reproach which I have feared: for your judgements are good.
40 Hete! salalaeko o fepè’oo! ihetsefo amo fahiti’oo.
Behold, I have desired your commandments: quicken me in your righteousness.
41 Ampombao amako ty fiferenaiña’o ry Iehovà, ty fandrombaha’o ty amo saontsi’oo;
And let your mercy come upon me, O Lord; [even] your salvation, according to your word.

And [so] I shall render an answer to them that reproach me: for I have trusted in your words.
43 Ko sintone’o am-bavako ty tsara-to, fa salalaeko o nafè’oo,
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in your judgements. So shall I keep your law continually, for ever and ever.
44 Le hambenako lomoñandro o Tsara’oo, eka, nainai’e donia;

I walked also at large: for I sought out your commandments.
46 Ho talilieko añatrefam-panjaka o taro’oo le tsy ho salatse,
And I spoke of your testimonies before kings, and was not ashamed.
47 Hifaleako o fandilia’oo toe kokoako.
And I meditated on your commandments, which I loved exceedingly.
48 Zonjoñeko amo fandilia’oo o tañakoo, fa kokoako, vaho haereñereko o fañè’o.
And I lifted up my hands to your commandments which I loved; and I meditated in your ordinances.

161 Mampisoañ’ahy tsy aman-tali’e o roandriañeo, fe mañeveñe amo tsara’oo ty troko.
Princes persecuted me without a cause, but my heart feared because of your words.
162 Firebehako o fetse’oo, manahake t’ie anjòam-bara bey.
I will exult because of your oracles, as one that finds much spoil.
163 Hejeko naho mañalik’ahy o lañitseo, kokoako o Tsara’oo.
I hate and abhor unrighteousness; but I love your law.
164 Mandrenge Azo im-pito ami’ty andro iraho ty amo fizakà’o mahitio.
Seven times in a day have I praised you because of the judgements of your righteousness.
165 Fañanintsin-tsoa amo mikoko o Tsara’oo, tsy eo ty hahatsikapy iareo.
Great peace have they that love your law: and there is no stumbling block to them.
166 Salalaeko i fandrombaha’oy, ry Iehovà, hene ambenako o fandilia’oo.
I waited for your salvation, O Lord, and have loved your commandments.
167 Ambena’ ty fiaiko o taro’oo, le toe kokoako.
My soul has kept your testimonies, and loved them exceedingly.
168 Tanako o fepè’oo naho o taro’oo, aolo’o eo iaby o liakoo.
I have kept your commandments and your testimonies; for all my ways are before you, O Lord.
169 Ehe te hiatreke azo o toreokoo, ry Iehovà; andrendreho te fahareko o tsara’oo.
Let my supplication come near before you, o Lord; instruct me according to your oracle.
170 Hiheo añatrefa’o eo abey o halalikoo; avotsoro ty amo fetse’oo.
Let my petition come in before you, O Lord; deliver me according to your oracle.
171 Hampipoñake fandrengeañe o soñikoo, amy te anare’o ahy o fañè’oo.
Let my lips utter a hymn, when you shall have taught me your ordinances.
172 Hisaboe’ ty lelako o nafè’oo, amy te hene vantañe o fepè’oo.
Let my tongue utter your oracles; for all your commandments are righteous.
173 Ee te ho veka’e hañimba ahiko ty fità’o, fa jinoboko o lili’oo.
Let your hand be [prompt] to save me; for I have chosen your commandments.
174 Fisalalàko i fandrombaha’oy, ry Iehovà, mampinembanembañ’ahy o Tsara’oo.
I have longed after your salvation, O Lord; and your law is my (meditation)
175 Sotrafo ty fiaiko handrenge azo, vaho ampañimbao ahy o fizakà’oo.
My soul shall live, and shall praise you; and your judgements shall help me.
176 Nivike hoe añondry motso iraho; tsoeho o mpitoro’oo, fa tsy likofeko o fepè’oo.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek your servant; for I have not forgotten your commandments.
