< Salamo 118 >
1 Andriaño t’Iehovà amy te Ie ro soa! nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
Alleluia. Give thanks to the Lord; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
2 Anò ty hoe ry Israele: nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
Let now the house of Israel say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
3 Anò ty hoe ry anjomba’ i Aharoneo: nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
Let now the house of Aaron say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
4 Anò ty hoe ry mpañeveñe am’ Iehovà: nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
Let now all that fear the Lord say, that [he is] good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
5 Nalovilovy iraho, le nitoreo am’ Ià; nanoiñe ahiko t’Ià, le navotra’e an-gadagadañe eo.
I called on the Lord out of affliction: and he hearkened to me, [so as to bring me] into a wide place.
6 Amako t’Iehovà, tsy ho hemban-draho, ino ty hanoa’ondatio?
The Lord is my helper; and I will not fear what man shall do to me.
7 Amako t’Iehovà, mpañolotse ahiko, le ho sambaeko o malaiñ’ ahio.
The Lord is my helper; and I shall see [my desire] upon mine enemies.
8 Hamake t’ie mipalitse am’ Iehovà, ta te misazok’ am’ ondatio.
[It is] better to trust in the Lord than to trust in man.
9 Kitra’e mitsolok’ am’ Iehovà, ta te mirampy amo roandriañeo.
[It is] better to hope in the Lord, than to hope in princes.
10 Hene miarikoboñe ahy o fifeheañeo fe iatoako ty tahina’ Iehovà.
All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
11 Miarikatok’ ahy iereo, eka, toe misambory amako, fe iatoko ty tahina’ Iehovà.
They completely compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
12 Niropak’ amako hoe rene-tantele iereo, f’ie hakipike hoe fatike mirehetse; toe iatoako ty tahina’Iehovà.
They compassed me about as bees [do] a honeycomb, and they burst into flame as fire among thorns: but in the name of the Lord I repulsed them.
13 Nanafasiotse ahy iereo hikorovohako, fe nañimb’ ahy t’Iehovà.
I was thrust, and sorely shaken, that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.
14 Iehovà ro haozarako naho saboko, ie ro fandrombahañe ahy henane zao.
The Lord is my strength and my song, and is become my salvation.
15 Inao ty feom-pirebehañe naho fandrombahañe an-kivoho’ o vañoñeo ao: mavitrike ty fitoloñam-pitàn-kavana’ Iehovà.
The voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the Lord has wrought mightily.
16 Mizonjoñe ty fitàn-kavana’ Iehovà; mahimbañe ty fitàn-kavana’ Iehovà.
The right hand of the Lord has exalted me: the right hand of the Lord has wrought powerfully.
17 Tsy hikenkan-draho fa ho veloñe, hataliliko o sata’ Iehovào.
I shall not die, but live, and recount the works of the Lord.
18 Nanilofe’ Ià am-pandilovan-draho, fe tsy natolo’e an-kavilasy.
The Lord has chastened me sore: but he has not given me up to death.
19 Sokafo ho ahy o lalam-bein-kavantañañeo, hizilihako, hañandriañako Iehovà.
Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and give praise to the Lord.
20 Intoy ty lalam-bei’ Iehovà, hiziliha’o vañoñeo.
This is the gate of the Lord: the righteous shall enter by it.
21 Andriañekoo amy te tinoi’o, fa Ihe ro fandrombahañe ahy.
I will give thanks to thee; because thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22 I vato nado’ o mpandrafitseoy le fa talèm-batolahy.
The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.
23 Sata’ Iehovà izay, le fiain-tane am-pihainon-tikañe.
This has been done of the Lord; and it is wonderful in our eyes.
24 Itoy ty andro tsinene’ Iehovà, antao hirebeke naho hifale ama’e.
This is the day which the Lord has made: let us exult and rejoice in it.
25 Ry Iehovà, Ehe, rombaho zahay henaneo! ry Iehovà, Ehe, ampiraoraò henane zao!
O Lord, save now: O Lord, send now prosperity.
26 Andriañeñe ty mitotsak’ ami’ty tahina’ Iehovà! mañandriañe azo zahay boak’añ’anjomba’Iehovà ao.
Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.
27 Andrianañahare t’Iehovà, Ie ty nanolotse hazavàñe amantika; mireketa reke-tsampañe amo mpamonje sabadidakeo, mivovotse mb’ an-tsifa’ i kitreliy mb’eo.
God is the Lord, and he has shined upon us: celebrate the feast with thick [branches, binding the victims] even to the horns of the altar.
28 Ihe ro Andrianañahareko, le andriañekoo; Andrianañahareko irehe, ho zonjoñeko.
Thou art my God, and I will give thee thanks: thou art my God, and I will exalt thee. I will give thanks to thee, for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
29 Andriaño t’Iehovà amy te ie ro soa! nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
Give thanks to the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy [endures] for ever.
