1 Treño t’Ià. mandrengea, ry mpitoro’ Iehovà, bangò ty tahina’ Iehovà.
Praise Yahweh! You people who serve Yahweh, praise him! Praise (him/his name)!
2 onjoneñe ty tahina’ Iehovà, henane zao naho nainai’e donia.
Yahweh should be praised now and forever!
3 Boak’ ami’ty fanjiriha’ i àndroy pak’ami’ty fitsofora’e, le bangoañe ty tahina’ Iehovà.
People who live in the east and people who live in the west, everyone, should praise Yahweh [MTY]!
4 Andigiligi’ ze hene fifeheañe t’Iehovà, andindi’ o likerañeo ty enge’e.
Yahweh rules [MTY] over all the nations, and high in the heavens he shows that his glory is very great.
5 Ia ty mañirinkiriñe Iehovà Andrianañaharentika, Mpiambesatse an-dindìñe añe,
There is no one [RHQ] who is like Yahweh, our God, who lives/sits/rules in the highest heaven,
6 Mibotreke re hivazohoa’e o likerañeo naho ty tane toy.
and looks far down through the heavens and sees the [people on] the earth.
7 Ampitroare’e boak’ an-debok’ ao o rarakeo vaho ongaha’e am-botren-ditsak’ ao ty mpisotry,
[Sometimes] he lifts poor people up [so that they no longer sit in] the dirt; he helps needy [people so that they no longer sit on] heaps of ashes
8 hampindreza’e fiambesatse amo roandriañeo, amo ana-dona’ ondati’eo
and causes them to [be honored] by sitting next to princes, the sons of the kings [who rule] their people.
9 Ampitaiae’e añ’anjomba’e ao ty betsiterake, hifalea’e te renen’ anake. Treño t’Ià!
He also enables women who have no children to have a family; he causes them to be happy mothers. Praise Yahweh!
