< Salamo 107 >

1 Andriañeñe t’Iehovà, amy te Ie ro soa; nainai’e ty fiferenaiña’e.
“Give thanks to YHWH, For [He is] good, for His kindness [is] for all time”:
2 Ano izay ry jineba’ Iehovà— ry nijebañe’e am-pitàn-drafelahy,
Let the redeemed of YHWH say [so], Whom He redeemed from the hand of an adversary.
3 vaho hinoloholo’e hirik’ amo taneo, boak’atiñanañe naho ahandrefañ’ añe, boak’ avaratse vaho hirik’ amy riakey.
And has gathered them from the lands, From east and from west, From north, and from the sea.
4 Nirererere ambabangoañ’ añe iereo, an-dratraratra ao, tsy nahaonin-drova fimoneñañe.
They wandered in a wilderness, in a desert by the way, They have not found a city of habitation.
5 Nisalikoeñe naho taliñiereñe, nitoirañe añ’ova ao ty fiai’ iareo.
Hungry—indeed—thirsty, Their soul becomes feeble in them,
6 Le nitoreo am’ Iehovà an-kaloviloviañe naho hinaha’e amo hasotria’iareoo,
And they cry to YHWH in their adversity, He delivers them from their distress,
7 Nindese’e mb’an-dalam-bantam-beo higodañe mb’an-drova fimoneñañe añe.
And causes them to tread in a right way, To go to a city of habitation.
8 Handriañe’ iereo t’Iehovà ty amy fiferenaiña’ey naho o fitoloña’e fanjaka amo ana’ondatioo,
They confess to YHWH His kindness, And His wonders to the sons of men.
9 fa nieneñe’e ty fiaiñe taliñiereñe, nanjañe’e raha soa ty troke nilimpoa.
For He has satisfied a longing soul, And has filled a hungry soul [with] goodness.
10 Teo ty nitozòke añ’ieñe ao naho an-talinjon-kavilasy ao, rinohy an-kasotriañe naho vý,
Inhabitants of dark places and death-shade, Prisoners of affliction and of iron,
11 amy t’ie niody amo fepèn’Añahareo, vaho nañovok’ i famerea’ i Andindimoneñey.
Because they changed the saying of God, And despised the counsel of the Most High.
12 Aa le nampibokohe’e ty arofo’ iareo am-pitromahañe, nampidaleandaleañe tsy amam-pañimba.
And He humbles their heart with labor, They have been feeble, and there is no helper.
13 Le nitoreo am’ Iehovà t’ie niankoheke, le rinomba’e amo fikoretañeo;
And they cry to YHWH in their adversity, He saves them from their distresses.
14 naaka’e boak’ añ’ieñe naho an-talinjon-kavilasy ao, vaho nipoñafe’e o silisilio.
He brings them out from the dark place, And death-shade, And He draws away their bands.
15 Handriañe’ iareo t’i Iehovà ty amy fiferenaiña’ey naho o halatsañe nanoe’e amo ana’ ondatioo,
They confess to YHWH His kindness, And His wonders to the sons of men.
16 amy te pinaratsà’e o lalam-bey torisìkeo naho pinozapoza’e o doda viñeo.
For He has broken doors of bronze, And He has cut bars of iron.
17 Nampisotriañe o seretseo ty amo fiolà’eo, naho o tahi’eo.
Fools, by means of their transgression, And by their iniquities, afflict themselves.
18 Nampangori’ ty fiai’ iareo ze atao hàneñe, ie nitotoke o lalam-bein-kavilasio.
Their soul detests all food, And they come near to the gates of death,
19 Le nitoreo am’ Iehovà t’ie niampoheke, vaho rinomba’e amo haemberañeo.
And cry to YHWH in their adversity, He saves them from their distresses,
20 Nahitri’e i tsara’ey nahajangañe iareo vaho navotso’e amy kiboriy.
He sends His word and heals them, And delivers [them] from their destructions.
21 Andriañe’ iereo t’Iehovà ty amy fiferenaiña’ey naho o halatsañe fanoe’e amo ana’ondatioo,
They confess to YHWH His kindness, And His wonders to the sons of men,
22 Ee t’ie hibanabana sorom- pañandriañañe naho hitalily o fitoloña’eo an-drebeke;
And they sacrifice sacrifices of thanksgiving, And recount His works with singing.
23 Ao ty mizotso mb’an-tsambo an-driake ey; o mpanao balibalik’ an-drano mieneneo,
Those going down [to] the sea in ships, Doing business in many waters,
24 Fa niisa’ iareo o sata’ Iehovào, o halatsàñe fanoe’e an-dalekeo.
They have seen the works of YHWH, And His wonders in the deep.
25 Amy tsara’ey, nitroatse ty tio-bey, nampitoabotse o alon-driakeo.
And He commands, and appoints a storm, And it lifts up its billows,
26 Nionjomb’an-dindimb’eo iereo, vaho nizotso mb’an-dalek’ ao; nitranak’ ami’ty hekoheko’e ty fiai’iareo.
They go up [to] the heavens, they go down [to] the depths, Their soul is melted in evil.
27 Nivembeñe, nisiotsiotse hoe jike; fonga nilesa ty hihi’ iareo.
They reel to and fro, and move as a drunkard, And all their wisdom is swallowed up.
28 Nitoreove’ iareo t’Iehovà an-kasosorañe, vaho natsoa’e an-kasotriañe.
And they cry to YHWH in their adversity, And He brings them out from their distresses.
29 Nampipendreñe’e i tio-beiy, le nitsiñe o onjan-driakeo.
He calms a whirlwind, And their billows are hushed.
30 Niehake iereo te nibànatse, vaho nitehafe’e mb’amy fipalirañe nisalalaeñey.
And they rejoice because they are quiet, And He leads them to the haven of their desire.
31 Handriañe’ iereo t’Iehovà ty amy fiferenaiña’ey, naho o halatsañe fanoe’e amo ana’ ondatioo.
They confess to YHWH His kindness, And His wonders to the sons of men,
32 Ee t’ie honjone’ iareo am-pivori’ ondatio vaho handrenge Aze ami’ty fiambesa’ o androanavio.
And they exalt Him in [the] assembly of [the] people, And praise Him in [the] seat of [the] elderly.
33 Afote’e ho ratraratra o sakao, naho ho tane kankañe o torahañeo;
He makes rivers become a wilderness, And fountains of waters become dry land.
34 ho fatran-tsira ty tane kobokara, ty ami’ty tsihavokara’ o mpitobok’ ama’eo.
A fruitful land becomes a barren place, For the wickedness of its inhabitants.
35 Ampanginakinahe’e o tane mihedatseo, vaho ampanganahanae’e o kirikintañeo;
He makes a wilderness become a pool of water, And a dry land become fountains of waters.
36 hampitobea’e o limpoañeo, hañoreña’iareo rova fimoneñañe.
And He causes the hungry to dwell there, And they prepare a city of habitation.
37 Handrarake an-teteke ao iereo, naho hambole tetem-bahe, vaho hanonton-tsabo vokatse;
And they sow fields, and plant vineyards, And they make fruits of increase.
38 Tahie’e ka iereo hanaranàha’e maro, le tsy apo’e hiha-rìtse o añombe’eo.
And He blesses them, and they multiply exceedingly, And He does not diminish their livestock.
39 Ie nitaketrake iereo, ninìke ami’ty famorekekeañe, naho fanilofañe, vaho anahelo;
And they are diminished, and bow down, By restraint, evil, and sorrow.
40 ampidoaña’e ìnje o roandriañeo, ampiriorioe’e am-bangý tsy aman-dalañe añe,
He is pouring contempt on nobles, And causes them to wander in vacancy—no way.
41 toe aonjo’e ambone’ o hasotriañeo i rarakey, vaho anoe hoe lia-raike o hasavereña’eo.
And sets the needy on high from affliction, And places families as a flock.
42 Isa’ o vantañeo izay le mifale, fonga mamìm-bava ka ty hatsivokarañe.
The upright see and rejoice, And all perversity has shut her mouth.
43 Ia ty mahihitse, hiharaharà’e? ie ro mahafohiñe ty fiferenaiña’ Iehovà.
Who [is] wise, and observes these? They understand the kind acts of YHWH!
