< Salamo 10 >

1 Akore te Ihe mijohañe añe, ry Iehovà? Ino ty ietaha’o an-tsan-kasotriañe?
Why do you stand far off, LORD? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
2 Am-pirengevohañe ty añoridaña’ o raty tserekeo o rarakeo; f’ie tsepahe’ o fikitroha’eo avao.
In arrogance, the wicked hunt down the weak. They are caught in the schemes that they devise.
3 Sengè’ i tsivokatsey o fañirian-tro’eo, tata’e ty fatitiañe, naho inje’e t’Iehovà.
For the wicked boasts of his heart’s cravings. He blesses the greedy and condemns the LORD.
4 Ty tsivokatse amy fitoeboran-tarehe’ey, tsy mitsoek’ aze; ty hoe avao ro fitsakorea’e: Tsy eo ze o Andrianañahare zao.
The wicked, in the pride of his face, has no room in his thoughts for God.
5 Miraorao nainai’e o sata’eo; kanao mitiotiotse ambone, tsy am-pahaisaha’e eo o fizakà’oo, le fonga ibohaboha’e o malaiñ’ azeo.
His ways are prosperous at all times. He is arrogant, and your laws are far from his sight. As for all his adversaries, he sneers at them.
6 Hoe ty aereñeren-tro’e: Tsy hasiotse iraho, ndra an-tsa an-tsa tsy ho ampoheke ka.
He says in his heart, “I shall not be shaken. For generations I shall have no trouble.”
7 Pea hateràñe naho katramo naho fisenge-hery i falie’ey; kilily naho haloloañe ty ambane’ i famele’ey.
His mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and oppression. Under his tongue is mischief and iniquity.
8 Itoboha’e o fivoñonañe an-drovao amo fietahañeo hamonoa’e ty vantañe; jilojilovem-pihaino’e ty tsy amam-pañimba.
He lies in wait near the villages. From ambushes, he murders the innocent. His eyes are secretly set against the helpless.
9 Ie mitingañe añetak’ ao hoe liona ami’ty fitsifira’e; mitampoñe hitsepake ty rarake, hiambotrak’ ami’ty mpisotry, hikozozota’e amy harato’ey.
He lurks in secret as a lion in his ambush. He lies in wait to catch the helpless. He catches the helpless when he draws him in his net.
10 Mibotreke re, mifinake; vaho mikorovok’ amy figorea’ey i pìtso-pañolotsey.
The helpless are crushed. They collapse. They fall under his strength.
11 Hoe re an-troke ao: Fa nandikofan’ Añahare, fa naeta’e ty lahara’e; tsy ho vazoho’e ka.
He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.”
12 Miongaha ry Iehovà; ry Andrianañahare, zonjò ty Fità’o; ko amoea’o o mpirekeo.
Arise, LORD! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless.
13 Akore te ati’ o tsivokatseo t’i Andrianañahare, ie manao an-tro’e ao ty hoe: Tsy ipaia’e?
Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “God won’t call me into account”?
14 Toe vazoho’o; eka fa oni’o ty ampoheke naho ty embetse le ho valeam-pità’o, ihe ro iatoa’ ty tsy aman’imba; vaho mpañimba ty bode-rae.
But you do see trouble and grief. You consider it to take it into your hand. You help the victim and the fatherless.
15 Pozaho ty sira’ o tsivokatseo naho i piaroteñey, karaofo ty haratia’e ie tsy nilefe tsikaraheñe.
Break the arm of the wicked. As for the evil man, seek out his wickedness until you find none.
16 Mpanjaka nainai’e t’Iehovà; fa mongotse an-tane’e eo o fifeheañeo.
The LORD is King forever and ever! The nations will perish out of his land.
17 Ry Iehovà, fa jinanji’o ty halali’ o tretram-poo; hafatraro ty arofo’ iareo atokilaño o ravembia’oo;
LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble. You will prepare their heart. You will cause your ear to hear,
18 Hañomea’o to o bode-raeo naho o forekekeñeo, tsy hampinevenevera’ ondaty an-tane atoio ka.
to judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that man who is of the earth may terrify no more.
