1 Fa nandranjy i akiba’ey t’i Hihitse, fa rinamerame’e i faha’e fito rey.
Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her pillars—seven.
2 Fa nandenta, fa linaro’e ty divai’e, fa hinalanka’e i fandambaña’ey.
She has slaughtered her slaughter, She has mingled her wine, Indeed, she has arranged her table.
3 Fa nirahe’e o anak’ampata’eo, hikaike boak’ an-digiligin-kaboa’ i rovay ey.
She has sent forth her girls, She cries on the tops of the high places of the city:
4 O ry tahitahiñe, mitsilea mb’etoa! le hoe re amy seretsey,
“Who [is] simple? Let him turn aside here.” Whoever lacks heart: she has said to him,
5 Mb’etoa ikamao o hanekoo naho inomo i divay linarokoy,
“Come, eat of my bread, And drink of the wine I have mingled.
6 Apoho ty hagegeañe naho miveloma, mañaveloa an-dalan-kilala.
Forsake the simple and live, And be blessed in the way of understanding.”
7 Mizò inje ty mañendake mpanivetive; tendreke joy ty mitrevoke ty lo-tsereke.
The instructor of a scorner Is receiving for it—shame, And a reprover of the wicked—his blemish.
8 Ko mañendake ty mpamokafoka hera halaiñ’azo; Trevohe’o ty mahihitse le hikokoa’e.
Do not reprove a scorner, lest he hate you, Give reproof to the wise, and he loves you.
9 Anaro o mahihitseo le hiha-mahihitse avao; ampandrendreho ty vantañe le hitombo an-kilala.
Give to the wise, and he is wiser still, Make known to the righteous, And he increases learning.
10 Ty fañeveñañe am’ Iehovà ro fifotoran-kihitse, vaho ty fahafohinañe i Masiñey ro faharendrehañe.
The commencement of wisdom [is] the fear of YHWH, And a knowledge of the Holy Ones [is] understanding.
11 Izaho ty fampitomboañe o andro’oo, fampitompeañe taoñe o havelo’oo.
For by me your days multiply, And years of life are added to you.
12 Ie mahihitse, hañimbañ’ azo i hihitsey; Ihe manivetive ty hivave izay.
If you have been wise, you have been wise for yourself, And you have scorned—you bear [it] alone.
13 Mamantsiñe ty rakemba gege, ie tsotra tsy mahafohin-draha,
A foolish woman [is] noisy, Simple, and has not known what.
14 Mitobok’ an-dalam-bein-akiba’e eo, am-pitobohañe amo haboa’ i rovaio,
And she has sat at the opening of her house, On a throne—the high places of the city,
15 mikaike ze miary eo, amo mañavelo an-kavantañañeo:
To call to those passing by the way, Who are going straight [on] their paths.
16 O ry trentrañeo, mitsilea mb’etoa! le hoe re amy tsy aman-kilalay:
“Who [is] simple? Let him turn aside here.” And whoever lacks heart—she said to him,
17 Mamy ty rano nikamereñe, vaho mafiry ty mofo kamaeñe añ’etak’ ao.
“Stolen waters are sweet, And hidden bread is pleasant.”
18 Fe tsy apota’e te lolo ty ao, te an-tsikeokeok’ ao o nampihovae’eo. (Sheol h7585)
And he has not known that Rephaim [are] there, Her invited ones in deep places of Sheol! (Sheol h7585)
