< Filipiana 2 >
1 Aa naho eo ty fañosihañe amy Norizañey, ke eo ty fañohòañe an-koko, ke eo ty fitraofan-kina amy Arofoy, he eo ty halèm-po naho fiferenaiñañe,
If therefore there is any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion,
2 le henefo’ ty haehako am-piharoan-drehake naho am-pikokoañe raike vaho mifampipiteha arofo naho fivetsevetse.
make my joy full by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;
3 Ko manao inoñe am-patitiañe naho firengeañe kòake, fe mifampiasia an-trentram-po;
doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;
4 Ko sindre mañambeñe o azeo avao, fe ampiraoraò ondatio.
each of you not just looking to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.
5 Itsakoreo an-troke ao i tam’ Iesoà Norizañeiy, te
Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus,
6 Ie nihambam-bintañ’ aman’ Añahare, tsy naereñere’e te hitavane ty fihambañañe aman’ Añahare,
who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,
7 fe finao’e ty fañòva’e, le nandrambe ty vinta' ondaty, vaho nampihambañeñe ami'ty mpitoroñe.
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.
8 Ie tendreke te hambam-bintañe ama’ ondaty, le nirè-batañe, nivohotse an-kavilasy— eka navetrake amy hatae ajaley!
And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, yes, the death of the cross.
9 Toly ndra nonjonen’ Añahare, vaho tinolo’e ty tahinañe ambone’ ze kila añarañe,
Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name,
10 soa te hitongaleke amy Iesoà ze kila ongotse an-dikerañe añe naho an-tane atoy vaho ambane’ tane ao,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth,
11 vaho hiantoke te Iesoà Norizañe ro Talè ze hene fameleke handrenge an’Andrianañahare Rae.
and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
12 Ie amy zao, ry rañetseo, ie mivohotse nainai’e, tsy ami’ty fiatrefako avao, fa àntsake henane te tsy eo, le mifanehafa ami’ty fandrombahañe anahareo, am-pañeveñañe naho fineveneverañe;
So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
13 toe mitoloñe ama’ areo t’i Andrianañahare hilozoha’areo toloñe amy ze satri’e soa.
For it is God who works in you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
14 Hene ano, tsy miñeoñeoñe tsy mandietse,
Do all things without complaining and arguing,
15 soa tsy hanan-kakeo, tsy hanan-tahiñe, fa ho anan’ Añahare tsy aman-kandra añivo’ ty tariratse mengoke naho miola toy, mipelatse hoe failo ami’ty voatse toy,
that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without defect in the middle of a crooked and perverse generation, amongst whom you are seen as lights in the world,
16 mivontititse amy tsaran-kaveloñey, hampirebeke ahy an-tsa’ i Norizañey t’ie tsy nilay tsi-vente’e vaho tsy nilesa te nifanehake.
holding up the word of life, that I may have something to boast in the day of Christ that I didn’t run in vain nor labour in vain.
17 Eka, ndra t’ie ampidoañeñe hoe ènga-rano ami’ty fisoroñañe naho fitoloñañe amo fatokisa’ areoo, le mbe mifale naho mitrao-pirebeke ama’ areo iaby.
Yes, and if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
18 Aa le mifalea ka vaho miharoa firebeke amako.
In the same way, you also should be glad and rejoice with me.
19 Misalala am’ Iesoà Talè ao iraho, te hampihitrifeñe mb’ama’ areo mb’eo aniany t’i Timoty, hampanitsiñe ahy t’ie mitsanoñe ty ama’areo.
But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered up when I know how you are doing.
20 Fa tsy amako ty mañirinkiriñe aze ami’ty fahimbaña’e miatrake anahareo,
For I have no one else like-minded, who will truly care about you.
21 toe mipay ty aze avao i maroy, fa tsy ty a’ Iesoà Norizañey.
For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus Christ.
22 Fohi’ areo ty namentea’e vatañe, ie hoe anake aman-drae’e te nitraoke amako amy fitoroñañe i talili-soaiy.
But you know that he has proved himself. As a child serves a father, so he served with me in furtherance of the Good News.
23 Aa le salalaeko ty hañitrike aze aniany naho fa fantako ty amako.
Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it will go with me.
24 Le iantofako amy Talè te homb’eo aniany ka iraho.
But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come shortly.
25 Toe sinafiriko ty hampihitrike i Epafrodito rahalahiko mb’ama’ areo mb’eo, mpifanehake naho lahindefo mpiamako, ie toe ìra’ areo naho mpiatrak’ ahiko,
But I thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your apostle and servant of my need,
26 ie nijagobo ty ama’areo, naho nalovilovy te jinanji’ areo ty amy fatindri’ey.
since he longed for you all, and was very troubled because you had heard that he was sick.
27 Toe niheta’e re ho nivetrake, fe niferenaiñan’ Añahare, le tsy ie avao fa izaho, hera ho nanahelo an-kontoke.
For indeed he was sick nearly to death, but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow on sorrow.
28 Aa le nihavoa iraho te nampolieñe ama’areo, soa t’ie isa’ areo indraike ro handia taroba, vaho hampanintsiñe ahy ka.
I have sent him therefore the more diligently, that when you see him again, you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.
29 Aa le rambeso amy Talè an-kaehake vaho onjono ondaty hoe zaio;
Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy, and hold such people in honour,
30 amy te ho nametrake aze i fitoloña’e amy Norizañeiy, ie namoy-ay hañeneke i tsy nilefe’ areo amy fiatrahañe ahikoy.
because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service towards me.
