1 Ie amy zao, nifosae’ i Miriame naho i Aharone t’i Mosè amy nte-Kose nengae’ey; ie nañenga ampela nte-Kose ho tañanjomba’e.
Afterward Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses, because of the woman of Ethiopia whome hee had maried (for hee had married a woman of Ethiopia)
2 Le hoe iereo, I Mosè avao hao ty nampitsara’ Iehovà? Tsy itika ka hao ty nilañonà’e. Jinanji’ Iehovà izay.
And they saide, What? hath the Lord spoken but onely by Moses? hath he not spoken also by vs? and the Lord heard this.
3 Toe ondaty nimpirè-batañe t’i Mosè, lombolombo ze hene ondaty ambone ty tane toy.
(But Moses was a verie meeke man, aboue all the men that were vpon the earth)
4 Aa le nanao ty hoe amy Mosè naho i Aharone vaho i Miriame amy zao t’Iehovà, Akia nahareo telo, mb’ an-kibohom-pamantañañe mb’eo! Aa le niavotse mb’eo i telo rey.
And by and by the Lord sayd vnto Moses, and vnto Aaron, and vnto Miriam, come out yee three vnto the Tabernacle of the Congregation: and they three came forth.
5 Nizotso amy rahoñe nijoalay t’Iehovà naho nijohañe an-dalambei’ i kivohoy vaho kinanji’e t’i Aharone naho i Miriame le niheo mb’eo iereo roe.
Then the Lord came downe in the pillar of the cloude, and stoode in the doore of the Tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam, and they both came forth.
6 Le hoe re, Janjiño o entakoo: naho ama’ Iehovà ty mpitoky le anoñonako vatañe añ’ aroñaroñe vaho itaroñako ami’ty nofy.
And hee saide, Heare nowe my wordes, If there be a Prophet of the Lord among you, I will be knowen to him by a vision, and will speake vnto him by dreame.
7 Fe tsy izay amy Mosè mpitoroko; Ie matoe amy hene trañokoy.
My seruant Moses is not so, who is faithfull in all mine house.
8 Ie ty taroñako falie am-palie, an-kazavàñe fa tsy aman-drazan-tsara; ie ty mahaisake ty talinjo’ Iehovà. Tsy nahahembañe anahareo hao ty nañinje i Mosè mpitorokoy?
Vnto him will I speake mouth to mouth, and by vision, and not in darke wordes, but hee shall see the similitude of the Lord. Wherefore then were ye not afraid to speake against my seruant, euen against Moses?
9 Aa le nisolebotse am’ iereo ty haviñera’ Iehovà, le nienga re.
Thus the Lord was very angrie with them, and departed.
10 Aa naho nienga boak’ ambone’ i kivohoy i rahoñey le nizoeñe te angamae t’i Miriame, foty mikatsatsaoke. Ie nitolik’ amy Miriame t’i Aharone, nizoe’e te angamae.
Also the cloude departed from the Tabernacle: and beholde, Miriam was leprous like snowe: and Aaron looked vpon Miriam, and beholde, she was leprous.
11 Le hoe t’i Aharone amy Mosè, O ry talèko! miambane ama’o, ko apo’o ama’ay i fandilara’aiy, i hakeo nanoe’ay an-kagegeañey.
Then Aaron saide vnto Moses, Alas, my Lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sinne vpon vs, which we haue foolishly committed and wherein we haue sinned.
12 Ehe ko ampihambañe’o ami’ty lolo niboloañe boak’ an-tron-drene’e ao, ie fa voroke ty antsasa’ o nofo’eo.
Let her not, I pray thee, be as one dead, of whome the flesh is halfe consumed, when he commeth out of his mothers wombe.
13 Aa le nitoreo am’ Iehovà t’i Mosè nanao ty hoe, Ry Andrianañahare, mihalaly ama’o: Jangaño re!
Then Moses cryed vnto the Lord, saying, O God, I beseech thee, heale her nowe.
14 Le hoe t’i Iehovà amy Mosè, Naho nitsorihan-drae’e an-tarehe’e, tsy ho nivavè’e fito andro hao ty hasalara’e? Aa le adono re hagabeñe alafe’ i tobey fito andro; ie modo le rambeseñe indraike.
And the Lord said vnto Moses, If her father had spit in her face, shoulde she not haue bene ashamed seuen dayes? let her be shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and after she shall bee receiued.
15 Aa le narindriñe alafe’ i tobey fito andro t’i Miriame; le tsy nionjoñe ka ondatio am-para’ te nampihovaeñe ao indraike t’i Miriame.
So Miriam was shut out of the hoste seuen dayes, and the people remooued not, till Miriam was brought in againe.
16 Añe izay le nienga i Katserote ondatio nitobe am-patrambei’ i Parane añe.
Then afterwarde the people remooued from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wildernesse of Paran.
