1 Ie amy zao, nifosae’ i Miriame naho i Aharone t’i Mosè amy nte-Kose nengae’ey; ie nañenga ampela nte-Kose ho tañanjomba’e.
And Mariam and Aaron spoke against Moses, because of the Ethiopian woman whom Moses took; for he had taken an Ethiopian woman.
2 Le hoe iereo, I Mosè avao hao ty nampitsara’ Iehovà? Tsy itika ka hao ty nilañonà’e. Jinanji’ Iehovà izay.
And they said, Has the Lord spoken to Moses only? has he not also spoken to us? and the Lord heard it.
3 Toe ondaty nimpirè-batañe t’i Mosè, lombolombo ze hene ondaty ambone ty tane toy.
And the man Moses was very meek beyond all the men that were upon the earth.
4 Aa le nanao ty hoe amy Mosè naho i Aharone vaho i Miriame amy zao t’Iehovà, Akia nahareo telo, mb’ an-kibohom-pamantañañe mb’eo! Aa le niavotse mb’eo i telo rey.
And the Lord said immediately to Moses and Aaron and Mariam, Come forth all three of you to the tabernacle of witness.
5 Nizotso amy rahoñe nijoalay t’Iehovà naho nijohañe an-dalambei’ i kivohoy vaho kinanji’e t’i Aharone naho i Miriame le niheo mb’eo iereo roe.
And the three came forth to the tabernacle of witness; and the Lord descended in a pillar of a cloud, and stood at the door of the tabernacle of witness; and Aaron and Mariam were called; and both came forth.
6 Le hoe re, Janjiño o entakoo: naho ama’ Iehovà ty mpitoky le anoñonako vatañe añ’ aroñaroñe vaho itaroñako ami’ty nofy.
And he said to them, Hear my words: If there should be of you a prophet to the Lord, I will be made known to him in a vision, and in sleep will I speak to him.
7 Fe tsy izay amy Mosè mpitoroko; Ie matoe amy hene trañokoy.
My servant Moses [is] not so; he is faithful in all my house.
8 Ie ty taroñako falie am-palie, an-kazavàñe fa tsy aman-drazan-tsara; ie ty mahaisake ty talinjo’ Iehovà. Tsy nahahembañe anahareo hao ty nañinje i Mosè mpitorokoy?
I will speak to him mouth to mouth apparently, and not in dark speeches; and he has seen the glory of the Lord; and why were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
9 Aa le nisolebotse am’ iereo ty haviñera’ Iehovà, le nienga re.
And the great anger of the Lord [was] upon them, and he departed.
10 Aa naho nienga boak’ ambone’ i kivohoy i rahoñey le nizoeñe te angamae t’i Miriame, foty mikatsatsaoke. Ie nitolik’ amy Miriame t’i Aharone, nizoe’e te angamae.
And the cloud departed from the tabernacle; and, behold, Mariam was leprous, [white] as snow; and Aaron looked upon Mariam, and, behold, she [was] leprous.
11 Le hoe t’i Aharone amy Mosè, O ry talèko! miambane ama’o, ko apo’o ama’ay i fandilara’aiy, i hakeo nanoe’ay an-kagegeañey.
And Aaron said to Moses, I beseech you, my lord, do not lay sin upon us, for we were ignorant wherein we sinned.
12 Ehe ko ampihambañe’o ami’ty lolo niboloañe boak’ an-tron-drene’e ao, ie fa voroke ty antsasa’ o nofo’eo.
Let her not be as it were like death, as an abortion coming out of his mother's womb, when [the disease] devours the half of the flesh.
13 Aa le nitoreo am’ Iehovà t’i Mosè nanao ty hoe, Ry Andrianañahare, mihalaly ama’o: Jangaño re!
And Moses cried to the Lord, saying, O God, I beseech you, heal her.
14 Le hoe t’i Iehovà amy Mosè, Naho nitsorihan-drae’e an-tarehe’e, tsy ho nivavè’e fito andro hao ty hasalara’e? Aa le adono re hagabeñe alafe’ i tobey fito andro; ie modo le rambeseñe indraike.
And the Lord said to Moses, If her father had only spit in her face, would she not be ashamed seven days? let her be set apart seven days without the camp, and afterwards she shall come in.
15 Aa le narindriñe alafe’ i tobey fito andro t’i Miriame; le tsy nionjoñe ka ondatio am-para’ te nampihovaeñe ao indraike t’i Miriame.
And Mariam was separated without the camp seven days; and the people moved not forward till Mariam was cleansed.
16 Añe izay le nienga i Katserote ondatio nitobe am-patrambei’ i Parane añe.
And afterwards the people set forth from Aseroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Pharan.
