< Nehemia 11 >
1 Toe nimoneñe e Ierosalaime ao o mpifehe’ ondatio, le nifanendre an-kitsapake ka ondaty ila’eo, ty haneseañe ty raik’ ami’ty folo ho mpimoneñe e Ierosalaime an-drova miavak’ ao vaho apok’ amo rova ila’eo ty sive.
And the chiefs of the people lived in Jerusalem: and the rest of the people cast lots, to bring one of [every] ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the [other] cities.
2 Le nitatàe’ ondaty iabio o lahilahy nanolo-batañe himoneñe e Ierosalaimeo.
And the people blessed all the men that volunteered to dwell in Jerusalem.
3 Irezao o mpiaolo’ i borizà nimoneñe e Ierosalaimeoy, fe songa nimoneñe am-panaña’e amo rova’ Iehodao o nte-Israeleo, o mpisoroñeo naho o nte-Levio naho o mpitoroñ’ anjombao vaho o anam-pitoro’ i Selomòo.
Now these [are] the chiefs of the province who lived in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Juda; [every] man lived in his possession in their cities: Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nathinim, and the children of the servants of Solomon.
4 E Ierosalaime ao ty nimoneña’ ty ila’ o nte-Levio naho o ana’ i Beniamineo. Amo ana’ Iehodao: i Ataià, ana’ i Ozià, ana’ i Zekarià, ana’ i Amarià, ana’ i Sefatià, ana’ i Mahalalile, amo tarira’ i Peretseo;
And there lived in Jerusalem [some] of the children of Juda, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Juda; Athaia son of Azia, the son of Zacharia, the son of Samaria, the son of Saphatia, the son of Maleleel, and [some] of the sons of Phares;
5 naho i Maaseià, ana’ i Baroke, ana’ i Kolkozè, ana’ i Kazaià, ana’ i Adaià, ana’ Ioroaribe, ana’ i Zekarià, ana’ i nte-Siloney.
and Maasia son of Baruch, son of Chalaza, son of Ozia, son of Adaia, son of Joarib, son of Zacharias, son of Seloni.
6 O hene ana’ i Peretse nimoneñe e Ierosalaimeo: lahilahy maozatse efa-jato-tsi-enempolo-valo’amby.
All the sons of Phares who lived in Jerusalem [were] four hundred and sixty-eight men of might.
7 Irezao o ana’ i Beniamineo: i Salò, ana’ i Mesolame, ana’ Ioede, ana’ i Pedaià, ana’ i Kolaià, ana’ i Maaseià, ana’ Itiele, ana’ Iesaià.
And these [were] the children of Benjamin; Selo son of Mesulam, son of Joad, son of Phadaia, son of Coleia, son of Maasias, son of Ethiel, son of Jesia.

Of the priests: both Jadia son of Joarib, and Jachin.
11 i Seraià, ana’ i Kilkià, ana’ i Mesolame, ana’ i Tsadoke, ana’ i Meraiote, ana’ i Akitobe, mpifehen’ anjomban’ Añahare,
Saraia, son of Elchia, son of Mesulam, son of Sadduc, son of Marioth, son of Aetoth, was over the house of God.

And their brethren doing the work of the house were eight hundred and twenty-two: and Adaia son of Jeroam, son of Phalalia, son of Amasi, son of Zacharia, son of Phassur, son of Melchia,

and his brethren, chiefs of families, two hundred and forty-two: and Amasia son of Esdriel, son of Mesarimith, son of Emmer,
14 naho o rahalahi’e, lahindefo-maozatseo, zato-tsi-roapolo-valo’ amby, nisaria’ i Zabdiele ana’ o Hagadoleo.
and his brethren, mighty men of war, a hundred and twenty-eight: and [their] overseer [was] Badiel son of [one of the] great men.
15 Le amo nte-Levio: i Semaià, ana’ i Kasobe, ana’ i Azrikame, ana’ i Kasabià, ana’ i Boný;
And of the Levites; Samaia, son of Esricam,
16 naho i Sabetay naho Iozabade, amo mpiaolo nte-Levy mpisary o raha alafe’ i anjomban’Añahareio;
17 naho i Matanià, ana’ i Mikà, ana’ i Zabdý, ana’ i Asafe mpiaolo, namototse ty fañandriañañe am-pitalahoañe naho i Bakbokià, ty faharoe amo rahalahi’eo; naho i Abdà, ana’ i Samoà, ana’ i Galale, ana’ Iedotone.

19 Le o mpañambeñeo, i Akobe, i Talmone naho o rahalahi’e mpigari-lalambeio: zato-tsi-fitompolo-ro’amby.
And the porters; Acub, Telamin, and their brethren, a hundred and seventy-two.
20 Le o sisa’ Israeleo, amo mpisoroñeo, amo nte-Levio, ze hene an-drova’ Iehoda añe, sindre am-panaña’e ao.
21 Fe nimoneñe e Ofele ao o mpitoroñ’ anjombao; i Tsikà naho i Gispà ty nimpisary o mpitoroñ’ anjombao.
22 Le ty nimpisari’ o nte-Levy e Ierosalaimeo t’i Ozý ana’ i Baný, ana’ i Kasabià, ana’ i Matanià, ana’ i Mika, amo ana’ i Asafeo, songa mpisabo mitoloñe añ’ anjomban’ Añaharey,
And the overseer of the Levites [was] the son of Bani, son of Ozi, son of Asabia, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph the singers [some were] over the house of God,
23 fa am’iereo ty lili’ i mpanjakay, ty fanohanañe o mpisaboo, ze ipaiañe boak’ andro.
For so was the king's commandment concerning them.

And Phathaia son of Baseza was in attendance on the king in every matter for the people,

and with regard to villages in their country district: and [some] of the children of Juda lived in Cariatharboc,
26 le e Iehosoa naho e Moladà vaho e Bete-pelete;
and in Jesu,
27 naho e Katsare-saole naho e Beer-sevà rekets’ o tanà’eo
and in Bersabee:
28 naho e Tsiklage naho e Mekonà rekets’ o tanà’eo;
29 naho e En-drimone naho e Tsorà naho e Iarmote;

And their villages [were] Lachis and her hands: and they pitched their tents in Bersabee.

And the children of Benjamin [lived] from Gabaa [to] Machmas.

34 e Kadide, e Tseboime, e Nebalate;
35 e Lode naho e Ono naho am-bavatane’ o mpandrafitseo.
36 Le o nte-Levio; nampireketeñe amy Beniamine o firimboña’ Iehoda ila’eo.
And of the Levites there were divisions to Juda [and] to Benjamin.
