< Mika 1 >
1 Ty tsara’ Iehovà niheo amy Mikà nte-Moresete tañ’andro’ Iotame naho i Akhaze vaho Iekezkia mpanjaka’ Iehoda; i nioni’e ty amy Somerone naho Ierosalaimey.
The word of Jehovah that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.
2 Kila mijanjiña ry ondatio; mañaoña ry tane, naho ze hene ama’e ao; fa hanesek’ anahareo t’Iehovà Talè, i Talè boak’añ’Anjomba’e Masiñe.
Hear, ye peoples, all of you. Hearken, O earth, and all who are in it, and let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.
3 Heheke te miavotse i toe’ey t’Iehovà, hizotso mb’etoa, handialia o haboa’ ty tane toio.
For, behold, Jehovah comes forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.
4 Hitranak’ ambane’e eo o vohitseo, naho ho vaky o vavataneo, manahake ty takafotse añatrefa’ ty afo eo, naho rano nadoandoañe am-piroroñañe.
And the mountains shall be melted under him, and the valleys shall be split, as wax before the fire, as waters that are poured down a steep place.
5 Fonga ty amo fiolà’ Iakobeo, naho o tahi’ i anjomba’ Israeleio; Ino i hakeo’ Iakobey? Tsy i Somerone hao? Aia o ankaboa’ Iehodao? Tsy e Ierosalaime hao?
All this is for the transgression of Jacob, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem?
6 Aa le hanoeko fivotrim-porompotse an-tetek’ ao ty Somerone, ho tanem-bahe; naho haparatsiako am-bavatane ao o vato’eo, vaho haboako o mananta’eo.
Therefore I will make Samaria as a heap of the field, and as places for planting vineyards. And I will pour down the stones of it into the valley, and I will uncover the foundations of it.
7 Ho demodemoheñe iaby o samposampo’eo, le ho forototoeñe añ’afo ao o nibanabanaeñe ama’eo; ho rotsaheko iaby o saren-drahare’eo, fa natonto’e an-tamben-karapilo, le hibalike ho tamben-tsimirirañe.
And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces. And all her wages shall be burned with fire, and I will lay desolate all her idols. For she has gathered them from the wages of a harlot, and to the wage of a harlot they shall return.
8 Aa le hangoihoy naho hikoiakoiake iraho, hihalo naho hibongy te handeha; hanao fitrèn-drimo vaho fandalàm-boron-tsatrañe.
For this I will lament and wail. I will go stripped and naked. I will make a wailing like the jackals, and a lamentation like the ostriches.
9 Tsy lefe hahàñe o fere’eo, fa nandakake mb’e Iehoda ao; fa nahatakatse ty lalambei’ ondatikoo; Eka, pak’ e Ierosalaime ao.
For her wounds are incurable. For it has come even to Judah. it reaches to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.
10 Ko taroñe’o e Gate añe, ko mirovetse; mivarimbariña an-davenok’ ao ty amy anjomba’ i Ofrày.
Tell it not in Gath. Weep not at all. I have rolled myself in the dust at Beth-le-aphrah.
11 Mihelaña mb’eo ry mpimoneñe e Safire ao; ami’ty hameñaram-piboridaña’o; tsy lefe ty fivoratsaha’ o mpimone’ i Tsa’ananeo; mangololoike ty Bete’haetsele hasinta’e ama’o ty fijohaña’o.
Pass away, O inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame. The inhabitant of Zaanan has not come forth. The wailing of Beth-ezel shall take from you the stay of it.
12 Mifeak’ am-pitamàñe hasoa o mpimone’ i Maròteo fe nivotrak’ an-dalambei’ Ierosalaime eo boak’ am’ Iehovà ty hankàñe.
For the inhabitant of Maroth waits anxiously for good, because evil has come down from Jehovah to the gate of Jerusalem.
13 Feheo amo sareteo o soavalao, ry mpimone’ i Lakìse, ihe namototse ty hakeo’ i anak’ ampela’ i Tsioney, vaho nizoeñe ama’o o fiolà’ Israeleo.
Bind the chariot to the swift steed, O inhabitant of Lachish. She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion, for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
14 Aa le ho banabanae’o ravoravom-piavotañe ty Moresete-Gate; ho famañahiañe amo mpanjaka’ Israeleo o anjomba’ i Akzìbeo.
Therefore thou shall give a parting gift to Moresheth-gath. The houses of Achzib shall be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel.
15 Mbore haseseko ama’o ty mpitavañe, ry mpimone’ i Maresà; himoak’ Adolame ao ty enge’ Israele.
I will yet bring to thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, him who shall possess thee. The glory of Israel shall come even to Adullam.
16 Mipeaha irehe, miharata ty amo anake mahafale azoo; indrao ty hasola’o hifanahak’ ami’ty koáke, ie hieng’azo mb’an-drohy mb’eo.
Make thee bald, and cut off thy hair for the sons of thy delight. Enlarge thy baldness as the vulture, for they have gone into captivity from thee.
