< Matio 10 >

1 Tsinikao’ Iesoà i mpiama’e folo ro’amby rey naho nomea’e lily amo anga-draty iabio, hañariañe irezay, vaho hampijangañe ze hene hasilofañe naho ze arete-mandrambañe.
And he called to himself his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every disease and every sickness.
2 Zao ty tahina’ i folo ro’amby nitokaveñe Firaheñe rey: I Simona atao Petera, naho i Andrea rahalahi’e;
Now the names of the twelve apostles are these. The first, Shimon, who is called Kipha; and Andreus his brother; and Yaquv the son of Zabedai, and Yukhanan his brother;
3 i Filipo naho i Bartolomeo; Iakobe naho i Jaona rahalahi’e ana’ i Zebedeele; i Tomasy naho i Mat’tý, ie nifohiñe ho mpampisongo mpangalak’ana’e; Iakobe ana’ i Alofey naho i Tereose;
Philipus and Bar-Tulmai; Tama and Mattai the tax collector; Yaquv the son of Khalphai, and Thadai;
4 i Simona nte Kanana, vaho i Joda Askareiotà nifotetse azey.
Shimon the Zealot, and Yehudah Sekariuta, who also betrayed him.
5 Nirahe’ Iesoà i folo ro’amby rezay le nafanto’e ami’ty hoe: Ko mañavelo mb’an-tane’ o kilakila ondatio, vaho ko migodañe mb’ an-drova’ o nte Samariao.
Yeshua sent these twelve out, and commanded them, saying, "Do not go among the non-Jews, and do not enter into any city of the Samaritans.
6 Akia mb’amo añondry nandrike amy anjomba’ Israeleio.
Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israyel.
7 Taroño am’iereo te ho heneke i fifehean-dikerañey.
And as you go, proclaim, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is near.'
8 Jangaño o marareo, ampolio amo vilasio ty haveloñe, liovo o angamaeo, mañaria kokolampa; le ko mandrambe sara, fa am-patarihañe ty nahazoa’ areo, matariha ka.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.
9 Ko mamotry vola-mena ndra vola-foty; ndra vara an-kontra’ areo;
Do not take any gold, nor silver, nor copper in your money belts.
10 ndra sikiñe halimbe, ndra hana, ndra kobaiñe am-pita’areo; amy te mañeva rima mahaeneñe ty mpièke.
Take no bag for your journey, neither two tunics, nor shoes, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.
11 Amy ze tanàñe ndra rova iziliha’ areo, añontaneo, ia t’indaty vañoñe ama’e, le mitambara ao ampara’ te mienga.
And into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy; and stay there until you go on.
12 Ie mizilike añ’anjomba ao, ampanintsiño ami’ty hoe: Hanintsiñe ty anjomba toy, naho Fañanintsiñe amy ze hene mpimoneñe ama’e.
And as you enter into the household, greet it.
13 Ie mañeva i anjombay, le ho ama’e i fañanintsi’ areoy, f’ie tsy mañeva le himpoly ama’ areo i fañanintsi’ areoy.
And if the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 Naho eo ty tsy mampihova, tsy mañaoñe anahareo, le avoto i anjombay vaho ahintsaño ty deboke am-pandia’ areo.
And whoever does not receive you, nor hear your words, as you leave that house or that city, shake off the dust from your feet.
15 Eka! to t’itaroñako te soa ho a i Sodoma naho i Gomora amy andro zay te amy rovay.
Truly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sedum and Amura in the day of judgment than for that city.
16 Inao, ahitriko hoe añondry añivo amboa-romotse nahareo; aa le mahihira hoe mereñe vaho manoa hatso-pon-deho.
"Look, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be cunning as snakes and innocent as doves.
17 Itaò ondatio, fa tsy am-pivori’ iareo naho amo anjomba fitontona’ iareoo ty aneseañe anahareo,
But beware of people: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you.
18 fa amo mpifeheo naho amo mpanjakao, hahafitaroña’ areo ahy am’ iereo naho amo kilakila’ondatio.
Yes, and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the nations.
19 Ie tsepahe’ iereo, ko aliheñe amy ze ho saontsie’ areo, fa hatolotse amy ora paiañe azey ty ho saontsie’ areo.
But when they deliver you over, do not be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.
20 Tsy inahareo ty hisaontsy, fa i Arofo-Masin-dRaekoy ty hitsara añama’areo.
For it is not you who speak, but the Rukha of your Father who speaks in you.
21 Hasesen-drahalahy ty rahalahi’e havetrake, naho ty rae ty ana’e; hitroatse aman-droae’e o anakeo, haneseke iareo ho koromaheñe.
"And brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 Ho fañinjeañe naho fañembañañe amy ze hene fifeheañe nahareo ty ami’ty añarako, fa ze mahafeake pak’ amy figadoñañe nifantañañey ty ho rombaheñe.
And you will be hated by everyone because of my name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.
23 Ie horidañeñe ami’ty rova toy, mitribaña an-day mb’ami’ty ila’e. Eka! to t’itaroñako te, tsy ho tsitsi’ areo o rova’ Israeleo ampara’ te totsake i Ana’ ondatiy.
But when they persecute you in one city, flee to the other. And if they persecute you in the other, flee to the next. For truly I tell you, you will not have gone through the cities of Israyel before the Son of Man comes.
24 Tsy ambone’ i talè’ey ty mpiòke, naho tsy ambone’ i tompo’ey ty ondevo.
"A disciple is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his lord.
25 Mahaeneñe i mpiokey te ho hambañe amy talè’ey, naho te hanahake i tompo’ey ty mpitoroñe. Aa naho natao’ iereo Baalzebobe i talèn’ anjombay, àntsake o ana’ i anjomba’eio.
It is enough for the disciple that he be like his teacher, and the servant like his lord. If they have called the master of the house Baelzebub, how much more those of his household.
26 Ko ihembañañe, amy te tsy eo ty tsy haboake ndra mietake ze tsy hampahafohinañe.
Therefore do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing covered that will not be revealed; and hidden that will not be known.
27 Ze itaroñako añ’ieñe ao, isaontsio an-kazavàñe ey; naho ze janji’areo an-dravembia, itseizo an-dalambey.
What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in the ear, proclaim on the housetops.
28 Ko mirevendreveñe amo mpamono sandriñeo f’ie tsy maha-vono arofo. Te mone eveño i maharotsake troke naho sandriñe an-tsikeokeok’ aoy. (Geenna g1067)
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gihana. (Geenna g1067)
29 Tsy aletake drala raike hao ty foly roe? Fe leo raike ama’e tsy hipoke an-tane naho tsy satrien-dRae’areo an-dindiñe ao.
"Are not two sparrows sold for an asarah coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will,
30 Tsy fa niaheñe iaby hao ze maroin’ añambone’ areo?
but the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
31 Ko mahimahiñe, ie lombolombo’ o folio.
Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
32 Ze mañonjoñe ahy añatrefa’ ondatio, ty honjoneko añatrefan-dRaeko andindìñ’ ao.
Everyone therefore who confesses me before people, him I will also confess before my Father who is in heaven.
But whoever denies me before people, him I will also deny before my Father who is in heaven.
34 Ko atao’ areo te niavy hanese fañanintsiñe an-tane atoy iraho; tsy niavy hanese fañanintsiñe fa fibara.
"Do not think that I came to send peace on the earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword.
35 Ty hampiavakavahañe ondatio ty nivotrahako atoy, ty ana-dahy aman-drae’e, ty anak-ampela aman-drene’e, ty vinanto-ampela aman-drafoza ampela’e
For I came to set a man at odds against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 Ho rafelahi’ondaty o kokoa’eo,
And a person's foes will be those of his own household.
37 Tsy mañeva ahy ze mikoko rae ndra rene mandikoatse ahy, naho tsy mañeva ahy ze mikoko ana-dahy ndra anak-ampela mandikoatse ahy,
Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 Tsy mañeva ahy ze tsy mandrambe i hatae ajale’ey vaho mañorik’ ahy.
And whoever does not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me.
39 Ze mpitea havelo ro hañanto aze, fe hitendreke aze ze mamoe’ay ty amako.
Whoever seeks his life will lose it; and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.
40 Ze mandrambe anahareo, mandrambe ahy, naho ze mandrambe ahy mandrambe i nañirake Ahiy.
Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.
41 Ze mandrambe mpitoky ami’ty tahina’ ty mpitoky, ro handrambe ty tambem-pitoky; ze mandrambe ty vañoñe ami’ty tahina’ ty vañoñe ro handrambe ty tambe’ i vañoñey.
The one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet's reward, and the one who receives a righteous person because he is a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward.
42 Ze manjotso rano manintsiñe am-pitovy ami’ty raike amo kedeke retoa ami’ty tahina’ ty Firaheko, Eka! to t’ivolañako t’ie tsy mbia ho motso tambe.
And whoever gives one of these little ones just a cup of cold water to drink because he is a disciple, truly I tell you he will in no way lose his reward."
