1 Nizilike am-pitontonañ’ao indrai­ke re le nanjo ty lahilahy kenge-fitàñe.
And he entered again into a synagogue, and there-was there, a man having, his hand, withered;
2 Hinare’ iereo ke hañafake ami’ty Sabata, hanisìa’ iareo.
and they were narrowly watching him, whether, on the Sabbath, he would cure him, that they might accuse him.
3 Aa le hoe re amy lahilahy kenge-fitañey: Miongaha mb’etoa.
And he saith unto the man who hath his hand withered, Arise into the midst!
4 Le hoe re tam’ iereo: Ty aia ty Hake, ty manao raty, he ty manao soa naho Sabotse; ty mamono, ke ty mañaha fiaiñe? F’ie tsy nahabeoke.
and saith unto them—Is it allowed, on the Sabbath, to do good, or to do evil? To, save, life, or, to slay? but they remained silent.
5 Jinilojilo’e an-keloke, le nana­helo ami’ty hagàn-tro’ iareo, vaho nanao ty hoe am’ indatiy: Ahitio ty fità’o. Le nahiti’e, vaho niareñe ho janga manahake ty ila’e i fità’ey.
And, looking round upon them with anger, being at the same time grieved on account of the hardening of their heart, he saith unto the man—Stretch forth thy hand! and he stretched it forth, and his hand, was restored.
6 Niavotse o Fari­seoo naho niharo fikaoñe amy zao amo mpiamy Herodao nikilily ty hañè-doza ama’e.
And, the Pharisees, going out straightway with the Herodians, were giving counsel against him, that they should, destroy, him.
7 Nisitake mb’an-driake ey t’Iesoà rekets’ o mpiama’eo; le naño­rike aze ty lahialeñe hirike e Galilia naho boak’ Iehodà añe,
And, Jesus, with his disciples, retired unto the sea; and, a great throng from Galilee, followed, also from Judaea,
8 naho hirike Ierosaleme; naho hirik’ Edoma naho alafe’ Iordaney vaho amparipari’ i Tirò naho i Sidona añe—ondaty mitozantozañe, hene nahajanjiñe o hene fitoloña’eo naho nimb’ ama’e mb’eo.
and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and around Tyre and Zidon, a great throng, hearing whatsoever things he was doing, came unto him.
9 Le sinaontsi’e amo mpiama’eo ty hañajary lakañe ho aze ty amy valobohòkey tsy mone hifanamboen­tamboeñe.
And he spake unto his disciples that a little boat might attend him, because of the multitude, —that they might not be pressing upon him.
10 Akore ty hamaro ty nafaha’e kanao nifanindry ama’e hitsap’ aze ze nisilofe’ ty areteñe.
For he cured many, so that they were besieging him, that they might touch him—as many as had plagues;
11 Ndra mb’ia mb’ia nahatrea aze o anga-maleotseo le niankotrake aolo’e eo nikoràke ty hoe: Ihe i Anan’ Añaharey,
and the impure spirits, as soon as they beheld him, were falling down to him, and crying aloud, while he was speaking, Thou, art the Son of God!
12 fa hinatahata’e tsy hampahafohiñe aze.
and sternly was he rebuking them, lest they should make him manifest.
13 Niañambone vohitse mb’eo re le tsinikao’e ze satri’e vaho niheova’ iereo.
And he goeth up into the mountain and calleth near whom, he, pleased, —and they went away unto him;
14 Tinendre’e ty folo ro’amby ho mpiama’e, hahitri’e hitaroñe,
and he appointed a twelve, whom also he named, Apostles, —that they might be with him, and that he might be sending them forth to make proclamation,
15 ie ho aman-dily hañary kokola­mpa:
and to have authority to cast out the demons;
16 Le natovo’e amy Simona ty tahinañe ty hoe: Petera;
and he appointed the twelve (and imposed a name on Simon—) Peter,
17 naho am’Iakobe ana’ i Zebedio naho i Jaona rahalahi’ Iakobe ty nanovoña’e añaran-tsole ty hoe Boanerjesy, toe Anañ’ àmpiñe;
and James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James (and imposed on them a name—Boanerges, that is, sons of thunder);
18 naho i Andrea naho i Filipo naho i Bartolomeo naho i Matio naho i Tomasy naho Iakobe ana’ i Alfeo naho i Tadeo naho i Simona mahimbañe,
and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the zealot;
19 vaho i Jodasy nte-Keriote nifotetse azey.
and Judas Iscariot, who also delivered him up. And he cometh into a house;
20 Nizilike añ’anjomba ao re naho nivorigidiñe indraike i lahialeñey, kanao tsy nilefe ty hikama.
and the multitude come together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21 Ie nahajanjiñe izay o longo’eo, le niheo mb’eo hamihim-pitañe aze, ami’ty asa’ iareo ty hoe: Tondren-dre.
And they who were near to him, hearing of it, went out to secure him, —for they were saying—He is beside himself!
22 Nizotso boake Ierosaleme añe o mpanoki-dilio, nanao ty hoe: Angara’ ty belzeboba re, vaho i bein-kokolampay ty añaria’e kokolampa.
And, the Scribes who from Jerusalem had come down, were saying—He hath, Beelzebul; and—In the ruler of the demons, casteth he out the demons.
23 Tsinikao’e hitotok’ aze iereo vaho nirazaña’e ty hoe: Aia ty hañaria’ i mpañìnjey i mpañìnjey?
And, calling them near, in parables, began he to say unto them—How can, Satan, cast, Satan out?
24 Naho mifampiria ty fifeheañe, tsy hijadoñe i fifeheañey.
And, if a kingdom against itself be divided, that kingdom cannot be made to stand;
25 Ie mifamotetse ty anjomba, tsy hahafitroatse i anjombay.
And, if a house against itself be divided, the house shall be unable to stand;
26 Ie miongake hiatreatre vatañe ty mpañìnje naho mifañambake, le tsy hitoetse, fa higadoñe.
And, if, Satan, hath risen up against himself, and become divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
27 Tsy eo ty hahazilike añ’ anjombam-panalolahy ao hañaoke o vara’eo, naho tsy vahora’e hey i fanalolahiy, izay vaho ho volose’e i anjomba’ey.
But, no one is able into the house of the mighty one to enter, and, his spoils, to carry off, unless, first the mighty one, he bind, and, then his house, will he plunder!
28 Eka! to t’itaroñako te hahañe amo ana’ ondatio ze atao hakeo naho ze hateràñe iterà’ iareo,
Verily, I say unto you—All things shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, —the sins and the profanities wherewithal they shall profane;
29 fe tsy ho hahañe ka ze mitera i Arofo Masiñey, fa ho amam-patse kitro-katroke; (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
But, whosoever shall revile against the Holy Spirit, hath no forgiveness, unto times age-abiding, —but is guilty of an age-abiding sin: (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
30 ami’ty fivola’ iareo t’ie aman’ anga-draty.
because they were saying—An impure spirit, he hath!
31 Nipoteake eo o rahalahi’eo naho i rene’e, nijohañe alafe ao, le nañitrike ama’e vaho nitok’ aze.
And there come his mother and his brethren, and, standing, outside, they sent unto him, calling him.
32 Niambesatse añariseho aze i maroy; le hoe ty nitsaraeñe ama’e: Inao, alafe ao ty rene’o naho o rahalahi’oo; ie mipay azo.
And there was sitting around him a multitude, and they say unto him—Lo! thy mother and thy brethren, outside, are seeking thee!
33 Hoe ty natoi’e am’ iareo: Ia ty reneko naho o rahalahikoo?
And, answering them, he saith—Who are my mother and my brethren?
34 Narendre’e amy zao o niambesatse niarikoboñ’ azeo, le nanao ty hoe: Hehe ty reneko naho o rahalahikoo!
And, looking around on them who, about him, in a circle, were sitting, he saith, See! my mother and my brethren!
35 Ndra ia ia manao ty satrin’ Añahare, ie ty rahalahiko naho rahavaveko vaho reneko.
Whosoever shall do the will of God, the same, is my brother and sister and mother.
