1 Ie nañarine Ierosaleme e Beit-Pagè naho Betania am-bohi-Oliva eo iereo, le nahitri’e ty roe amo mpiama’eo
And when they came neere to Hierusalem, to Bethphage and Bethania vnto the mount of Oliues, he sent forth two of his disciples,
2 ami’ty hoe: Akia mb’an-tanañe ey hoekey, le ie mizilike ao ro hahaisake ana-borìke mirohy mbe tsy nitongoàñe: draito le tantalio mb’amako mb’etoa.
And sayd vnto them, Goe your wayes into that towne that is ouer against you, and assoone as ye shall enter into it, ye shall finde a colte tied, whereon neuer man sate: loose him, and bring him.
3 Aa naho eo ty manao ama’ areo ty hoe: Akore ty anoe’ areo zao? toiño te ipaia’ i Talè, fa hahitri’e mb’etoañe aniany.
And if any man say vnto you, Why doe ye this? Say that the Lord hath neede of him, and straightway he will send him hither.
4 Niavotse iereo, le nahaoniñe ty ana-borìke an-dalañe ey nirohy ami’ty lalam-bey, vaho binala’ iereo.
And they went their way, and found a colt tyed by the doore without, in a place where two wayes met, and they loosed him.
5 Aa hoe o nijohanjohañeo am’ iereo: Ino o anoe’ areoo, t’ie mañaha o borìkeo?
Then certaine of them, that stoode there, sayd vnto them, What doe ye loosing the colt?
6 Le tinoi’ iereo amy nampanoa’ Iesoày; aa le nampionjoneñe.
And they sayde vnto them, as Iesus had commanded them: So they let them goe.
7 Nendese’ iereo mb’amy Iesoà mb’eo i ana-borìkey le nalafike ama’e o saro’ iareoo, vaho niningira’e.
And they brought the colte to Iesus, and cast their garments on him, and he sate vpon him.
8 Nandamake ty sarimbo’e amy lalañey ty maro, naho nandafike ran-katae binira’e an-teteke ao ty ila’e.
And many spred their garments in the way: other cut downe branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.
9 Nikoikoike ty hoe o niaoloo naho o am-bohoo: Hosana! andriañeñe ty mitotsake ami’ty tahina’ i Talè!
And they that went before, and they that folowed, cryed, saying, Hosanna: blessed be hee that commeth in the Name of the Lord.
10 Andriañeñe ty fifehea’i Davide raen-tika hitotsak’ eo. Ehe rombaho, ry Andindimoneñeo.
Blessed be the kingdome that commeth in the Name of the Lord of our father Dauid: Hosanna, O thou which art in the highest heauens.
11 Nizilike e Ierosaleme ao t’Iesoà, naho niheo mb’ añ’ Anjomban’ Añahare ao, ie hene nisambae’e le nienga mb’e Betania mb’eo rekets’ i folo ro’amby rey amy te niròñe ty àndro.
So Iesus entred into Hierusalem, and into the Temple: and when he had looked about on all things, and now it was euening, he went forth vnto Bethania with the twelue.
12 Amy loak’androy, naho fa niakatse i Betania iereo le nisaliko re,
And on the morowe when they were come out from Bethania, he was hungry.
13 le tinalake’e ey hoek’ey ty sakoañe nandraveñe le nomb’ ama’e mb’eo ke hahaisake raha ama’e, fa ie avy eo, tsy nanjò naho tsy raveñe avao, amy te tsy san-tsakoañe.
And seeing a fig tree afarre off, that had leaues, he went to see if he might finde any thing thereon: but when he came vnto it, hee found nothing but leaues: for the time of figges was not yet.
Then Iesus answered, and sayd to it, Neuer man eate fruite of thee hereafter while the world standeth: and his disciples heard it. (aiōn g165)
15 Ie nivotrake e Ierosaleme ao, le nizilike añ’anjomban’ Añahare ao vaho nandroake o mpanao balikeo naho o mpipeake añ’Anjomban’ Añahareo le navalitsingore’e ty fandambaña’ o mpanakalo volao naho ty fiambesa’ o mpandetake dehoo;
And they came to Hierusalem, and Iesus went into the Temple, and began to cast out them that solde and bought in the Temple, and ouerthrewe the tables of the money changers, and the seates of them that solde doues.
16 vaho linili’e te tsy hendeseñe hiranga i Anjombay o kilankañeo.
Neither would hee suffer that any man should cary a vessell through the Temple.
17 Le nendaha’e ami’ty hoe: Tsy pinatetse hao te Hatao anjombam-pitalahoa’ ze kilakila ondaty ty anjombako? F’ie nanoe’areo lakato-malaso.
And he taught, saying vnto them, Is it not written, Mine house shalbe called the house of prayer vnto all nations? but you haue made it a denne of theeues.
18 Nahajanjiñe izay o mpisorom-beio naho o mpanoki-dilio, vaho nikinia hañoho-doza ama’e, fe nimarimarihañe i lahialeñey ami’ty halatsà’ iareo amo fañohà’eo.
And the Scribes and hie Priestes heard it, and sought howe to destroy him: for they feared him, because the whole multitude was astonied at his doctrine.
19 Ie hariva ro niakatse i rovay.
But when euen was come, Iesus went out of the citie.
20 Niary mb’eo iereo te maraindray, le niisa’iareo i sakoañey niheatse boak’ am-baha’e.
And in the morning as they iourneyed together, they saw the figge tree dried vp from the rootes.
21 Nahatiahy t’i Petera, le hoe re tama’e: O Rañandria, hehe te niheatse i sakoañe nafà’oy.
Then Peter remembred, and said vnto him, Master, beholde, the figge tree which thou cursedst, is withered.
22 Le hoe ty natoi’ Iesoà: Atokiso t’i Andrianañahare.
And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Haue the faith of God.
23 Eka! to t’itaroñako te ndra iaia hanao ami’ty vohitse toy ty hoe: Miombota! mivokovokoa an-driake ao, lehe tsy mifejofejo an-troke, fe atokisa’e te ho tendreke i natao’ey; le hanoeñe ho aze izay.
For verely I say vnto you, that whosoeuer shall say vnto this mountaine, Be thou taken away, and cast into the sea, and shall not wauer in his heart, but shall beleeue that those things which he saieth, shall come to passe, whatsoeuer he saieth, shall be done to him.
24 Aa le hoe ty ivolañako: ze hene ihalalia’ areo naho isaboa’areo, matokisa t’ie fa azo’ areo, le ho ama’ areo.
Therefore I say vnto you, Whatsoeuer ye desire when ye pray, beleeue that ye shall haue it, and it shalbe done vnto you.
25 Ie mijohañe eo hihalaly, iheveo hey ze anañan-kakeo, soa te hahan-dRae’ areo andindìñe ao ka o tahi’ areoo.
But when ye shall stand, and pray, forgiue, if ye haue any thing against any man, that your Father also which is in heauen, may forgiue you your trespasses.
For if you will not forgiue, your Father which is in heauen, will not pardon you your trespasses.
27 Nigodañe mb’e Ierosaleme mb’eo indraike iereo; le nidraidraitse añ’Anjomban’ Añahare ao, vaho nomb’ ama’e mb’eo o mpisorom-beio naho o mpanoki-dilio naho o roandriañeo,
Then they came againe to Hierusalem: and as he walked in the Temple, there came to him ye hie Priestes, and the Scribes, and the Elders,
28 nanao ty hoe ama’e: Lily manao akore, ty anoe’o o raha toañeo? Ia ty nanolotse Azo lily hanao o raha zao?
And said vnto him, By what authoritie doest thou these things? and who gaue thee this authoritie, that thou shouldest doe these things?
29 Hoe t’Iesoà tam’ iereo: Inao ty ontaneko ama’ areo, ie mahatoiñe ahy le hitaroñako ty lily anoeko o raha rezao.
Then Iesus answered, and saide vnto them, I will also aske of you a certaine thing, and answere ye me, and I will tell you by what authoritie I do these things.
30 I filipora’ i Jaonay: hirike andindìñe ao hao, ke boak’am’ondatio? Itoiño hey.
The baptisme of Iohn, was it from heauen, or of men? answere me.
31 Aa hoe ty vesoveso’ iareo: Ie ataon-tika ty hoe: Hirike andindìñe ao, le hatoi’e ty hoe: Akore arè t’ie tsy niantofa’ areo?
And they thought with themselues, saying, If we shall say, From heauen, he will say, Why then did ye not beleeue him?
32 fa naho manao ty hoe ka tikañe: Boak’ama’ ondaty—fe nimarimariheñe ondatio amy te fonga nitañe i Jaona ho toe mpitoky.
But if we say, Of men, we feare the people: for all men counted Iohn, that he was a Prophet in deede.
33 Aa le hoe ty natoi’ iareo am’Iesoà: Tsy fohi’ay. Le hoe ty navale’ Iesoà: Aa le tsy haborako ka ty lily anoeko irezao.
Then they answered, and saide vnto Iesus, We cannot tell. And Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Neither will I tell you by what authoritie I doe these things.
