< Lioka 21 >
1 Aa ie niandra, nahavazoho mpañaleale nampigodrom-bola amy fanontonan-dralay;
And having looked up, he saw the rich casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 nioni’e ka ty vantotse rarake nampijoñe drala roe.
And he also saw a certain poor widow there casting in two mites.
3 Le hoe re: Eka! to t’itaroñako te bey ty nengae’ ty vantotse misotry tia te am’ iabikey;
And he said, Truly I say to you, that this poor widow cast in more than they all.
4 fa ami’ty habeim-panaña’ iareo ty nampijoña’ iareo am-panontonam-baran’ Añahare ao; fe ami’ty harotà’e ty nampibiroña’e ty sehangam-piveloma’e.
For all these cast into the offerings of God from their abundance, but this woman from her poverty cast in all the living that she had.
5 Teo te nivesovesoe’ ty ila’e i Anjomban’ Añaharey, t’ie nihamineñe vato soa naho ravoravo; le hoe re:
And as some spoke about the temple, that it was adorned with fine stones and gifts, he said,
6 Ty amo raha isa’ areoo, mbe ho tondroke ty andro tsy hampidonañe vato raike ambone’ ty ila’e ze tsy haretsak’ ambane.
These things that ye see, the days will come during which there will not be left a stone upon a stone that will not be thrown down.
7 Le nañontanea’ iareo ty hoe: O Talè, mbia t’ie ho tendreke? Le inoñe ty ho viloñe hiaolo ty hifetsaha’e?
And they questioned him, saying, Teacher, when therefore will these things be? And what is the sign when these things are going to happen?
8 Le hoe re: Asoao tsy hampandridriheñe. Fa maro ty ho pok’eo hieva ty añarako, hanao ty hoe: Izaho ty ie, naho ty hoe: Fa antitotse i àndroy. Ko oriheñe.
And he said, Watch that ye may not be led astray, for many will come in my name, saying, I am, and, The time has come near. Go ye not therefore after them.
9 Ie mitsanoñ’ aly ndra fivalitaboahañe, ko vorombelo; fa tsi-mete tsy ho avy hey izay, fe mbe tsy aniany i hamodoañey.
And when ye may hear of wars and tumults, do not be alarmed, for these things must first happen, but the end is not straightaway.
10 Le hoe re am’iereo: Fifelehañe ty hitroatse hiatre-pifelehañe naho fifeheañe ty hiatre-pifeheañe.
Then he said to them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
11 Ho an-koe an-koe ty ezeñezen-tane jabajaba naho san-kasalikoañe vaho hiboake eo ty raha mampirevendreveñe naho ty viloñe ra’elahy hirik’ andindìñe añe.
And great earthquakes will be in various places, and famines and plagues. And there will be fearful sights and great signs from the sky.
12 Fe aolo’ irezay, ho tsepahem-pità’ iareo nahareo, hanoeñe samporerake naho hasese am-pitontonañe naho ambalabey ao vaho hampiatrefeñe mpanjaka naho roandriañe ty ami’ty añarako.
But before all these things, they will throw their hands on you, and will persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 F’ie hivalike ho fitaroña’ areo.
But it will go out from you for testimony.
14 Aa le ampifahàro añ’ arofo’areo te tsy hisafiry miaolo ze hatoi’ areo,
Settle therefore in your hearts not to premeditate to make defense.
15 amy te homeiko falie naho hihitse tsy ho lefe’ ty rafelahi’ areo toiñeñe ndra rebaheñe.
For I will give you a mouth and wisdom that all those who oppose you will not be able to contradict or to resist.
16 Le hifotetse ama’ areo o raeo naho o rahalahio naho o longoo vaho o rañetseo le havetrake ty ila’areo.
And ye will be betrayed even by parents, and kinsmen, and friends, and brothers. And some of you they will condemn to death.
17 Ho heje’ ze kila ondaty nahareo ty ami’ty añarako.
And ye will be hated by all men because of my name.
18 Fe tsy ho po-maròy raike o añambone’areoo.
And, no, not a hair of your head will perish.
19 Ty fahaliñisa’areo ro fandrombaham-piaiñe.
In your perseverance ye gain your souls.
20 Aa naho isa’ areo te arikoboñen-dahin-defoñe t’Ierosaleme; le maharendreha te an-titotse ty hampangoakoaheñ’ aze
But when ye see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that the desolation of it has come near.
21 Ee te hivoratsake mb’am-bohitse eñe o e Iehodào, naho hitriban-day ze e Ierosaleme ao vaho tsy hizilik’ ao o am-pariparits’ añeo.
Then let those in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those in the midst of it depart out, and let not those in the rural areas enter into it.
22 Izay o andro fandilovañeo hañenefañe ze hene pinatetse.
Because these are days of vengeance to fulfill all things that are written.
23 Hekoheko ho ami’ty mivesatse naho ty mampinono amy andro rezay! Fa haoream-bey ty hizò amy Taney vaho haviñerañe am’ondaty retoa,
But woe to those who have in the womb, and to those who suckle in those days. For there will be great distress upon the land, and wrath to this people.
24 ie hatsingoron-delam-pibara naho ho tantalieñe am-bozo-tali-am-baniañe mb’ amy ze kila tane añe vaho ho lialià’ o kilakila ‘ndatio t’Ierosaleme ampara’ te heneke ty sa’ o kilakila ondatio.
And they will fall by the jaw of the sword, and will be led away captive into all the nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
25 Le hiboak’ amy androy naho amy volañey naho amo vasiañeo ty viloñe vaho halovilovy am-pioremèñañe o fifeheañeo ty amy fitroña’ i riakey naho ty fivalitaboaha’e;
And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, roaring of sea and of tossing,
26 ho tsipike ty anifañe ondatio ami’ty fahaoniña’e o hifetsak’ an-tane atoio; le hampihendrahendraeñe o haozaran-dikerañeo.
fainting of men from fear, and of anticipation of the things coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
27 Ho oni’ iereo mitotsake mb’eo amy zao amo rahoñeo eñe an-kaozarañe naho engeñe ra’elahy i Ana’ondatiy.
And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and much glory.
28 Ie mamototse hiboake, le mijohaña naho miandradrà, fa an-titotse ty fijebañañe anahareo.
And when these things begin to happen, stand upright, and lift up your heads, because your redemption approaches.
29 Le hoe ty nandrazaña’e: Hehe o sakoañeo naho ze hene hatae.
And he spoke a parable to them. Behold the fig tree, and all the trees.
30 Ie mibotiboty le inao te an-titotse ty lohataoñe.
When they are now sprouting, ye know seeing for yourselves that summer is now near.
31 Hoe izay ka te isa’areo ty fifetsaha’ o tsaraeñeo le fohino te mitotoke i Fifehean’ Añaharey.
Even so ye, when ye see these things happening, know ye that the kingdom of God is near.
32 Eka! to t’itaroñako te tsy ho kapioke ty tariratse toy naho tsy heneke hey irezay.
Truly I say to you, that this generation will, no, not pass away until all things happen.
33 Himiañe añe o likerañeo naho ty tane toy, fe tsy ho modo o volakoo.
The sky and the earth will pass away, but my words may, no, not pass away.
34 Mitaoa, tsy mone ho lifore’ ty hatea-haneñe naho ty hajìke vaho ty hasosorañe amo haveloñe zao ty arofo, hera hitojeha ama’ areo i andro zay,
But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down in debauchery and drunkenness and mundane cares, and that day come upon you sudden.
35 toe hanahake fandri-bò ty hivovoa’e amy ze hene mpimoneñe an-tane atoy amy andro zay.
For it will come like a trap upon all those who sit upon the face of all the earth.
36 Aa le mitaòa naho mihalalia nainai’e t’ie hañeva handrife amo fonga hifetsakeo vaho hijohañe añatrefa’ i Ana’ondatiy.
Watch ye therefore, making supplication at all times, so that ye may be considered worthy to escape all these things going to happen, and to stand before the Son of man.
37 Nañoke an-kiririsan’Anjomban’ Añahare eo re boak’andro; f’ie haleñe, nienga mb’eo niambesatse am-bohi’ Oliva ey.
And during the days he was teaching in the temple, and going forth the nights, he lodged on the mount that is called Olives.
38 Naho mbe nangararak’ atiñanañe le nitontoñe hijanjiñe aze añ’ Anjomban’ Añahare ao i lahialeñey.
And all the people rose early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him.
