< Lioka 17 >
1 Le hoe re amo mpiama’eo: Tsi-mahay tsy ho avy avao ty mampitsikapy fa hankàñe ami’ty ‘ndaty namalañe aze!
And He said to the disciples, “It is impossible for the stumbling blocks not to come, but woe [to him] through whom they come;
2 Hamake te anampezam-bato fandisanañe ty fititia’e vaho ajoroboñe an-driak’ ao, ta t’ie hanirìka ty raik’ amo kedekede retoa.
it is more profitable to him if a weighty millstone is put around his neck, and he has been cast into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to stumble.
3 Mitaòa! Ie anaña’o hakeo ty rahalahi’o, endaho, le iheveo t’ie misoloho.
Take heed to yourselves, and if your brother may sin in regard to you, rebuke him, and if he may change his mind, forgive him,
4 Ie mandilatse ama’o im-pito ami’ty andro raike, fe mibalike impito hihalaly ama’o manao ty hoe: Misoloho iraho. Le iheveo.
and if seven times in the day he may sin against you, and seven times in the day may return to you, saying, I change my mind, you will forgive him.”
5 Le hoe ty asa’ o Firaheñeo amy Talè: Tompeo o fatokisa’aio.
And the apostles said to the LORD, “Add to us faith”;
6 Tinoi’ i Talè ty hoe: Ndra te kede manahake ty voam-baro ty fatokisa’ areo le ho saontsie’ areo o lamonty eroañeo ty hoe: Miromata le miketsà an-driak’ añe, le hanoe’e.
and the LORD said, “If you had faith as a grain of mustard, you would have said to this sycamine, Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea, and it would have obeyed you.
7 Ia ama’areo, te amam-pitoroñe miava ndra miarak’ añondry, ie mimpoly boak’ an-tetek’ añe ro hanoa’e ty hoe: Mb’etoa, miambesara, mikamà?
But who is he of you—having a servant plowing or feeding—who, to him having come in out of the field, will say, Having come, recline at once?
8 Te mone, inao ty hanoa’o: Halankaño o hanekoo, midiaña, le atrao iraho ampara’ te nihinañe naho ninoñe; izay irehe vaho hihinañe naho hinoñe.
But will not [rather] say to him, Prepare what I may dine, and having girded yourself around, minister to me, until I eat and drink, and after these things you will eat and drink?
9 Handriañe’e hao i mpitoroñe nanao i nandilia’eiy?
Does he have favor to that servant because he did the things directed? I think not.
10 Aa inahareo ka, ie fa nañeneke ze hene nandiliañe, anò ty hoe: Mpitoroñe tsy jefa’e zahay, ty nandiliañ’ anay avao ty nanoe’ay.
So also you, when you may have done all the things directed you, say, We are unprofitable servants, because that which we owed to do we have done.”
11 Ie nionjoñe mb’e Ierosaleme mb’eo, le nioza añ’efe-tane’ i Samaria naho i Galilia naho
And it came to pass, in His going on to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee,
12 nizilik’ an-drova ao vaho nifanalaka’ ty angamae folo lahy, nijohañe ey
and He entering into a certain village, there ten leprous men met Him, who stood far off,
13 nampipozake ty hoe: Ry Iesoà, Tale, ferenaiño zahay.
and they lifted up the voice, saying, “Jesus, Master, deal kindly with us”;
14 Nivazoho’e le nanoa’e ty hoe: Akia, miboaha amo mpisoroñeo. Aa ie mbe nihitrike mb’eo le nijangañe.
and having seen [them], He said to them, “Having gone on, show yourselves to the priests”; and it came to pass, in their going, they were cleansed,
15 Aa naho nirendre’ ty raik’ ama’e t’ie nalio le nibalike nampipoñake renge aman’ Añahare,
and one of them having seen that he was healed turned back, glorifying God with a loud voice,
16 naho nihohoke, laharañ’ am-pandia, nañandriañe; nte-Samaria indatiy.
and he fell on [his] face at His feet, giving thanks to Him, and he was a Samaritan.
17 Le hoe ty ontane’ Iesoà: Tsy songa nilioveñe hao i folo lahy rey? Aia ty sive?
And Jesus answering said, “Were not the ten cleansed, and the nine—where?
18 Tsy nahatendreke raike hao ty hibalike handrenge an’ Andrianañahare naho tsy ty ambahiny toy?
There were none found who turned back to give glory to God, except this foreigner”;
19 Le hoe re tama’e: Mitroara, mañaveloa, fa nahajangañe azo o fatokisa’oo.
and He said to him, “Having risen, be going on, your faith has saved you.”
20 Teo te, nañontane aze o Fariseoo ty hitotsaha’ i Fifehean’ Añaharey; le hoe ty natoi’e: Tsy tendre-biribiry ty hivotraha’ i Fifehean’ Añaharey;
And having been questioned by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God comes, He answered them and said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation;
21 tsy eo ty hanao ty hoe: Indroke ie! ndra, Intiañe! Fa toe ama’areo ao i Fifehean’ Añaharey.
nor will they say, Behold, here; or, Behold, there; for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
22 Le hoe re amo mpiama’eo: Ho tondroke ty andro hisalalà’ areo hahaisake ty raik’ amo andro’ i Ana’ ondatiio, fe tsy hahaoniñe.
And He said to His disciples, “Days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man and you will not behold [it];
23 Hoe ty hanoe’ iareo. Indrok’ ie! ndra Intiañe! ko mandeha, ko mañorike iareo.
and they will say to you, Behold, here; or, Behold, there; you may not go away, nor follow;
24 Ho hambañe ami’ty helatse mitsopelatse añ’ila’ i likerañey naho mireandreañe pak’ añ’ ilan-dikerañe eñe ka i Ana’ ondatiy amy andro’ey.
for as the lightning is flashing out of one [part] under the sky [and] shines to the other [part] under the sky, so will the Son of Man also be in His day;
25 F’ie tsi-mahay tsy holàñeñe raha maro hey vaho ho tsambolitio’ ty tariratse toy.
and first it is necessary for Him to suffer many things, and to be rejected by this generation.
26 Hambañe ami’ty andro’ i Noe ty ho oniñe añ’andro’ i Ana’ondatiy:
And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of Man;
27 nikama iereo, ninoñe iereo, nañenga valy iereo, le natolotse ho engaeñe iereo pak’ amy andro niziliha’ i Noe am-po’ i samboiy; tojeha amy zao i haempoempoañe nañopo iareo iabiy.
they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the Ark, and the flood came, and destroyed all;
28 Hanahake tañandro’ i Lota ka: nikama iereo, ninoñe iereo, nivily naho nandetake iereo, nitongy iereo, nañoreñe iereo;
in like manner also, as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building;
29 fe tamy andro niavota’ i Lota i Sodoma, le nidoindoiñ’ afo aman-tsolifara boak’ andindìñe añe, nampangotomomoke iareo iaby.
and on the day Lot went forth from Sodom, He rained fire and brimstone from the sky, and destroyed all.
30 Ho hambañe amy zay ty andro hisodeha’ i Ana’ondatiy.
According to these things it will be, in the day the Son of Man is revealed;
31 Amy andro zay, asoao tsy hizotso hangalake ty vara’e añ’anjomba ao ty an-tafo’e ey; izay ka ty an-tetek’ao, Ee te tsy himpolia’e ze raha ao.
in that day, he who will be on the housetop, and his vessels in the house, do not let him come down to take them away; and he in the field, in like manner, do not let him turn backward;
32 Tiahio ty vali’ i Lota,
remember the wife of Lot.
33 Ndra iaia mipay handromba-piay ro hamoe aze; fe ndra iaia hamoe-piaiñe ro handrombak’ aze.
Whoever may seek to save his life, will lose it; and whoever may lose it, will preserve it.
34 Itaroñako te, Roe ty hitrao-tihy amy haleñey le ho rambeseñe ty raike naho hadoke ty ila’e.
I say to you, in that night there will be two [men] on one bed: one will be taken, and the other will be left;
35 Hitrao-pandisañe ty roe: ho rambeseñe ty raike naho hapoke ty ila’e.
two [women] will be grinding at the same place together: one will be taken, and the other will be left;
[[two [men] will be in the field: one will be taken, and the other left.”]]
37 Le natoi’ iareo ty hoe: Aia, Rañandria? Le hoe ty natoi’e: Ami’ty fate ey ty ivoria’ o koàkeo.
And they answering say to Him, “Where, Lord?” And He said to them, “Where the body [is], there the eagles will be gathered together.”
