< Fitomaniana 3 >
1 Ondaty nahatrea hasotrian-draho amy kobain-kaviñera’ey.
I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
2 Niaoloa’e naho nampomba’e mb’an-kamoromoroñañe ao fa tsy mb’an-kazavàñe.
He has led me and caused me to walk in darkness, and not in light.
3 Toe nafote’e amako lomoñandro lomoñandro ty fità’e.
Surely he turns his hand against me again and again all day long.
4 Nanoe’e hambo’e o nofokoo naho o holikoo; sindre pinekapeka’e o taolakoo.
He has made my flesh and my skin old. He has broken my bones.
5 Nanoa’e hàlañe, nañarikatoha’e afero naho haloviloviañe.
He has built against me, and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.
6 Nampitobohe’e an-toetse maieñe ao iraho, hoe lolo-ela.
He has made me dwell in dark places, as those who have been long dead.
7 Narindri’e ao tsy hahafionjoñe; nanoe’e mavesatse o silisilikoo.
He has walled me about, so that I can’t go out. He has made my chain heavy.
8 Aa naho mikoikoike hipay imba, le sikadaña’e alafe ao i halalikoy.
Yes, when I cry, and call for help, he shuts out my prayer.
9 Nikalaña’e am-bato vinañe o liakoo, nampikelokelofe’e o oloñolokoo.
He has walled up my ways with cut stone. He has made my paths crooked.
10 Hoe amboa romotse mamandroñe ahy, hoe liona añ’etaketak’ ao.
He is to me as a bear lying in wait, as a lion in hiding.
11 Natsile’e iaby o fombàkoo, naho nirimidrimite’e ty sandriko; nanoe’e babangoañe.
He has turned away my path, and pulled me in pieces. He has made me desolate.
12 Fa nabitso’e ty fale’e, le nohara’e amako ty ana-pale.
He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
13 Nampitrofahe’e ambaniako ao o ana-tsotsòke boak’ an-trañon’ ana-pale’eo.
He has caused the shafts of his quiver to enter into my kidneys.
14 Fa injè’ondatikoo iraho, bekobekoa’ iareo lomoñandro.
I have become a derision to all my people, and their song all day long.
15 Finaha’e hafairañe vaho natsafe’e vahon-tsoy.
He has filled me with bitterness. He has stuffed me with wormwood.
16 Finoifoi’e am-bato o nifekoo; nalembe’e an-davenok’ ao iraho.
He has also broken my teeth with gravel. He has covered me with ashes.
17 Nampihankàñe’o lavi-panintsiñañe ty haveloko; nihaliñoko ze o hasoa zao.
You have removed my soul far away from peace. I forgot prosperity.
18 Le hoe iraho, Fa modo ty haozarako, ty fitamàko am’ Iehovà.
I said, “My strength has perished, along with my expectation from Yahweh.”
19 Tiahio ty haloviloviako naho ty hasotriako, ty vahon-tsoy naho afero.
Remember my affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the bitterness.
20 Toe tiahi’ ty fiaiko, vaho mibotrek’ amako ao.
My soul still remembers them, and is bowed down within me.
21 Ty hoe ty apotam-pitsakoreako, mampitamà ahiko, te
This I recall to my mind; therefore I have hope.
22 le lia’e tsy mijihetse ty fiferenaiña’ Iehovà tsy mb’ia hilesa o fiferenaiña’eo.
It is because of Yahweh’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his mercies don’t fail.
23 Vao boak’andro; ra’elahy ty figahiña’o.
They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.
24 Iehovà ty anjarako, hoe ty troko, aa le ie ty fitamàko.
“Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul. “Therefore I will hope in him.”
25 Soa t’Iehovà amo mahaliñe azeo; amy arofo mipay Azey.
Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.
26 Mahasoa ondatio te mitama, t’ie handiñe am-pianjiñañe ty fandrombaha’ Iehovà.
It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Yahweh.
27 Hasoa am’ondatio ty mivave ty jokan-katora’e.
It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
28 Angao re hiambesatse am-bangiñe ao, hianjiñe, amy te ie ty nandafik’ aze.
Let him sit alone and keep silence, because he has laid it on him.
29 Hatoho’e an-debok’ ao ty falie’e, hera ama’e ty fitamañe.
Let him put his mouth in the dust, if it is so that there may be hope.
30 Soa re te hatolo’e amy mandrara- tehak’ azey ty fiambina’e; angao ampiliporeñ’ inje.
Let him give his cheek to him who strikes him. Let him be filled full of reproach.
31 Fa tsy hañito nainai’e t’i Talè.
For the Lord will not cast off forever.
32 Aa ndra t’ie ty mampioremeñe, mbe hiferenaiña’e amy hafatraram-pikokoa’ey.
For though he causes grief, yet he will have compassion according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
33 Tsy mora ama’e ty mandafa, ndra ty mandilo o ana’ondatio;
For he does not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men.
34 Ie ampidemoheñe am-pandia, ze mpirohi’ ty tane toy;
To crush under foot all the prisoners of the earth,
35 ie tsy omen-to ondatio añatrefa’ i Andindimoneñey,
to turn away the right of a man before the face of the Most High,
36 ie ampikeloheñe ty enta’ ondatio— tsy arofoana’ i Talè hao?
to subvert a man in his cause, the Lord doesn’t approve.
37 Ia ty nitaroñe naho nahafetsake zao, naho tsy i Talè ty nametse?
Who is he who says, and it comes to pass, when the Lord doesn’t command it?
38 Tsy boak’am-palie’ i Abo Tiañey hao ty hankàñe naho ty soa?
Doesn’t evil and good come out of the mouth of the Most High?
39 Akore ty itoreova’ondaty veloñeo, o lahilahio ty amo tahi’eo?
Why should a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
40 Antao hañotsohotso hitsoke o lalan-tikañeo, vaho himpoly mb’am’ Iehovà mb’eo.
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Yahweh.
41 Antao hañonjoñ’ arofo am-pitàñe mb’aman’Añahare an-digiligy añe.
Let’s lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens.
42 Toe nandilatse zahay naho niola; toly ndra tsy napo’o.
“We have transgressed and have rebelled. You have not pardoned.
43 Nikolopok’ an-kaviñeran-drehe te nañoridañe anay; tsy niferenaiña’o t’ie nanjamañe.
“You have covered us with anger and pursued us. You have killed. You have not pitied.
44 Nisaron-drahon-dRehe, tsy himoahan-kalaly.
You have covered yourself with a cloud, so that no prayer can pass through.
45 Nanoe’o romoromo’e naho forompotse zahay añivo’ o kilakila’ndatio.
You have made us an off-scouring and refuse in the middle of the peoples.
46 Songa midañadaña falie ama’ay o malaiñ’anaio.
“All our enemies have opened their mouth wide against us.
47 Fa nifetsak’ ama’ay ty hebakebake naho i koboñey, ty famongorañe naho fandrotsahañe.
Terror and the pit have come on us, devastation and destruction.”
48 Mitsiritsioke rano o masokoo, amy fandrotsahañe i anak’ampela’ ondatikoy.
My eye runs down with streams of water, for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
49 Midoandoañe mañambane o masokoo, vaho tsy mijihetse, tsy mitroatse,
My eye pours down and doesn’t cease, without any intermission,
50 Ampara’ te mivazoho mañambane t’Iehovà, mitalake boak’ an-dikerañe añe.
until Yahweh looks down, and sees from heaven.
51 Mampihontoke ty troko o masokoo ty amo hene anak’ampelan-drovakoo.
My eye affects my soul, because of all the daughters of my city.
52 Fa nikehe ahy hoe kibo, tsy amam-poto’e o malaiñ’ahio.
They have chased me relentlessly like a bird, those who are my enemies without cause.
53 Naitoa’ iareo an-koboñe ao ty fiaiko, vaho nandretsa-bato amako.
They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and have cast a stone on me.
54 Nandipotse ty lohako o ranoo vaho nanoeko ty hoe: Opo iraho!
Waters flowed over my head. I said, “I am cut off.”
55 Kinanjiko ty tahina’o ry Iehovà, boak’ an-koboñe loho lalek’ ao.
I called on your name, Yahweh, out of the lowest dungeon.
56 Jinanji’o ty feoko; ko aeta’o amy ravembia’oy i fitoreokoy hahafikofohako.
You heard my voice: “Don’t hide your ear from my sighing, and my cry.”
57 Nitotok’ ahy irehe amy andro nikanjiako azoy; le hoe irehe: Ko hemban-drehe.
You came near in the day that I called on you. You said, “Don’t be afraid.”
58 Ry Talè, nañalañalañe’o o entan’ aikoo; fa jineba’o ty fiaiko.
Lord, you have pleaded the causes of my soul. You have redeemed my life.
59 Ry Iehovà, fa nivazoho’o ty nasarañ’ ahy; ehe izakao.
Yahweh, you have seen my wrong. Judge my cause.
60 Fa nioni’o ty fitrotrofiaha’ iareo naho ty fikitroha’ iareo amako.
You have seen all their vengeance and all their plans against me.
61 Fa jinanji’o ty inje’ iareo, ry Iehovà, naho o fikililia’ iareo ahy iabio,
You have heard their reproach, Yahweh, and all their plans against me,
62 Ty fivimbi’ o nitroatse amakoo, ty fikinià’ iareo ahy lomoñandro,
the lips of those that rose up against me, and their plots against me all day long.
63 Vazohò iereo te miambesatse, naho t’ie miongake; izaho bekobekoa’ iareo.
You see their sitting down and their rising up. I am their song.
64 Mbe hondroha’o, ry Iehovà, ty amo satam-pità’ iareoo.
You will pay them back, Yahweh, according to the work of their hands.
65 Kolopofo ty arofo’ iareo, ametsaho fatse!
You will give them hardness of heart, your curse to them.
66 Horidaño an-kaviñerañe vaho mongoro ambanen-dikera’ Iehovà eo.
You will pursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens of Yahweh.
