And the children of Israel began againe to do wickedly in the sight of the Lord when Ehud was dead.
2 Le naleta’ Iehovà am-pità’ Iabine, mpanjaka’ i Khanàne, mpifehe’ i Kastore iereo; i Siserà ty nifeleke o lahindefo’eo naho nimoneñe e Karosete’ambahiny.
And the Lord sold them into the hande of Iabin King of Canaan, that reigned in Hazor, whose chiefe Captaine was called Sisera, which dwelt in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
3 Nikaikaik’ amy Iehovà o ana’ Israeleo, amy t’ie aman-tsarete vy sivan-jato, vaho vata’e namorekeke o ana’ Israeleo roapolo taoñe.
Then the children of Israel cryed vnto the Lord: (for he had nine hundreth charets of yron, and twentie yeeres he had vexed the children of Israel very sore)
4 Nizaka Israele tañ’ andro izay ty rakemba atao Deborae, mpitoky, vali’ i Lapidote.
And at that time Deborah a Prophetesse the wife of Lapidoth iudged Israel.
5 Nimoneñe ambane satrañe añivo’ i Ramà naho i Betele am-bohi’ i Efraime eo t’i Deborae, vaho nionjomb’ ama’e mb’eo o ana’ Israeleo ho zakae’e.
And this Deborah dwelt vnder a palme tree, betweene Ramah and Beth-el in mount Ephraim, and the children of Israel came vp to her for iudgement.
6 Nampihitrife’e naho nikanjie’e t’i Barake, ana’ i Abinoame, boake Kedese e Naftalý añe le nanoa’e ty hoe, Tsy fa nandily azo hao t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele: ami’ty hoe: Akia harineo ty vohi-Tabore naho endeso lahindefo rai-ale amo ana’ i Naftalio naho amo ana’ i Zeboloneo?
Then shee sent and called Barak the sonne of Abinoam out of Kadesh of Naphtali, and sayd vnto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Goe, and drawe towarde mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousande men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?
7 Le ho tariheko mb’ ama’o mb’ amy saka Kisoney mb’eo t’i Siserà, mpifele’ i mpirai-lahin-defo’ Iabiney, rekets’ o sarete’eo naho i valobohò’ey; vaho hatoloko am-pità’o.
And I wil drawe vnto thee to the riuer Kishon Sisera, the captaine of Iabins armie with his charets, and his multitude, and wil deliuer him into thine hand.
8 Le hoe t’i Barake tama’e, Kanao hindreza’o lia, le handeha iraho; fe naho tsy indreza’o, izaho tsy homb’eo.
And Barak sayd vnto her, If thou wilt go with me, I will go: but if thou wilt not goe with me, I will not go.
9 Le hoe re, Toe hindrezako, fe tsy hahazoa’o engeñe ty lala homba’o; fa haleta’ Iehovà am-pitàn-drakemba t’i Siserà. Niongak’ amy zao t’i Deborae, nindre lia amy Barake mb’e Kedese mb’eo.
Then shee answered, I will surely goe with thee, but this iourney that thou takest, shall not be for thine honour: for the Lord shall sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. And Deborah arose and went with Barak to Kedesh.
10 Kinai’ i Barake t’i Zebolone naho i Naftalý hifanontoñe ama’e e Kedese ao; aa le nionjom-beo am-pandia ty rai-alen-dahy vaho nindre ama’e t’i Deborae.
And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh, and he went vp on his feete with ten thousand men, and Deborah went vp with him.
11 Ie amy zao fa nifampiria amo nte-Kenio t’i Kevere, nte-Kený, ana’ i Kobabe rafoza’ i Mosè vaho nañoren-kibohotse a monto’ i Tsa’ananime añ’ ila’ i Kedese eo.
(Now Heber the Kenite, which was of the children of Hobab the father in lawe of Moses, was departed from the Kenites, and pitched his tent vntill the playne of Zaanaim, which is by Kedesh)
12 Natalily amy Siserà te nionjomb’ am-bohi’ Tabore mb’eo t’i Barak’ ana’ i Abinoame.
Then they shewed Sisera, that Barak the sonne of Abinoam was gone vp to mout Tabor.
13 Natonto’ i Siserà amy zao o sarete’e iabio, i sarete viñe sivan-jato rey, naho nindre ama’e i valobohò’e boake Karosete-goime añey pak’ an-tsaka Kisone eo.
And Sisera called for all his charets, euen nine hundreth charets of yron, and all the people that were with him from Harosheth of the Gentiles, vnto the riuer Kishon.
14 Aa le hoe t’i Deborae amy Barake. Miongaha, itoy ty andro nanolora’ Iehovà i Siserà am-pità’o. Tsy fa niaolo Azo hao t’Iehovà? Aa le nizotso boak’ am-bohi-Tabore ao t’i Barak’ am-pañorihañe ty rai-alen-dahy.
Then Deborah sayd vnto Barak, Vp: for this is the day that the Lord hath deliuered Sisera into thine hand. Is not the Lord gone out before thee? So Barak went downe from mount Tabor, and ten thousand men after him.
15 Navalitsikota’ Iehovà amy zao t’i Siserà naho o sarete’e iabio, naho i valobohò’ey andela-pibara añatrefa’ i Barake, aa le nizotso amy sarete’ey t’i Siserà vaho nibolititse mb’eo am-pandia.
And the Lord destroyed Sisera and all his charets, and al his hoste with the edge of the sword before Barak, so that Sisera lighted downe off his charet, and fled away on his feete.
16 Hinorida’ i Barake o sareteo naho i valobohòkey pake Karosete-goime añe naho fonga zinama’e an-dela-pibara ty valobohò’ i Siserà vaho tsy napo’e sehanga’e.
But Barak pursued after the charets, and after the hoste vnto Harosheth of the Gentiles: and all the hoste of Sisera fel vpon the edge of the sworde: there was not a man left.
17 F’ie nipoliotse am-pandia mb’an-kiboho’ Iaele tañanjomba’ i Kevere nte-Kený mb’eo, amy te nifampilongo ty anjomba’ Iabine mpanjaka’ i Katsore naho ty anjomba’ i Kevere nte-Kený.
Howbeit Sisera fled away on his feete to the tent of Iael the wife of Heber the Kenite: (for peace was betweene Iabin the king of Hazor, and betweene the house of Heber the Kenite)
18 Niakatse mb’eo t’Iaele nifanalaka amy Siserà, vaho hoe re tama’e, Mitoliha, ry talèko, mitsilea mb’ amako mb’etoa; le ko hembañe. Aa ie nitsile mb’ama’e mb’ an-kiboho’e ao, le sinaro’e bodo mateveñe.
And Iael went out to meete Sisera, and sayd vnto him, Turne in, my lord, turne in to me: feare not. And when he had turned in vnto her into her tent, she couered him with a mantell.
19 Le hoe re tama’e, Ehe anjotsò rano tsy ampeampe hinomako fa marandrano. Aa le sinoka’e ty korobon-dronono naho nazotso’e hikama vaho sinaro’e indraike.
And he said vnto her, Giue me, I pray thee, a litle water to drinke: for I am thirstie. And shee opened a bottel of milke, and gaue him drinke, and couered him.
20 Le hoe re ama’e, Mitroara an-dalan-kibohotse ey, le ie mivotrak’ ama’o t’indaty hañontane azo ami’ty hoe: Ama’ ondaty hao ty ao? Le hoe ty hatoi’o: Aiy!
Againe he sayde vnto her, Stande in the doore of the tent, and when any man doth come and enquire of thee, saying, Is any man there? thou shalt say, Nay.
21 Rinambe’ Iaele vali’ i Kevere amy zao ty tsaton-kibohotse naho ty ana-bato am-pità’e le nipiapia mb’ ama’e ao le tinombo’e am-pitendreanaoli’e amy tsatokey naho natrofa’e pak’an-tane, amy t’ie nilampo’ ty rotse fa nimokotse, vaho nihomake.
Then Iael Hebers wife tooke a nayle of the tent, and tooke an hammer in her hande, and went softly vnto him, and smote the nayle into his temples, and fastened it into the grounde, (for he was fast a sleepe and weary) and so he dyed.
22 Aa ie nañoridañe i Siserà t’i Barake, le nifanalaka’ Iaele nanao ama’e ty hoe, Mb’etoa le hatoroko azo indaty paia’oy. Aa ie nizilik’ ama’e ao, ingo t’ie nihity eo mate, tinombon-tsatok’ am-pitendrean’ aoli’e.
And behold, as Barak pursued after Sisera, Iael came out to meete him, and sayd vnto him, Come, and I wil shewe thee the man, whome thou seekest: and when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nayle in his temples.
23 Aa le nampiambanen’ Añahare amy andro zay añatrefa’ o ana’ Israeleo t’Iabine mpanjaka’ i Khanàne.
So God brought downe Iabin the King of Canaan that day before the children of Israel.
24 Nandreketse erike am’ Iabine mpifehe’ i Khanàne ty fità’ o ana’ Israeleo, ampara’ te narotsa’ iareo t’Iabine mpifehe’ i Khanàne.
And the hande of the children of Israel prospered, and preuailed against Iabin the King of Canaan, vntill they had destroyed Iabin King of Canaan.
