< Joda 1 >

1 I Joda, fetrek’oro’ Iesoà Norizañey naho rahalahi’ Iakobe, Ho amo nikanjieñe, navahen’ Añahare Rae naho tambozoreñe am’ Iesoà Norizañeio.
Judas, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those called, having been loved in God [the] Father, and having been kept in Jesus Christ,
2 Ampitoaboreñe ama’ areo ty fitretrezañe naho ty fañanintsiñe vaho ty fikokoañe.
mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you!
3 Ry roañetse, nilozoheko sokitse i fandrombahañe itraofañey, fe inao ty nataoko: hàmake hañosik’ anahareo himane i fatokisañe natoro amo noro’eo indraike nahahenekey.
Beloved, using all diligence to write to you concerning our common salvation, I had necessity to write to you, exhorting [you] to fight for the faith once delivered to the holy ones,
4 Amy te ao t’indaty nitsifitse añetake, ie nipatereñe haehae ty fàtse hizò iareo, ie tsy mañaon-Kake, mamotetse ty hasoan’ Añaharen-tika ho an-kaloloañe vaho mitety Iehovà Andrianañahare tsi-roe-tsi-telo naho i Talèntika, Iesoà Norizañey.
for there came in certain men stealthily, having been written beforehand to this judgment long ago, impious, perverting the grace of our God to licentiousness, and denying our only Master and Lord—Jesus Christ.
5 Te haniahy anahareo iraho, toe hene nifohi’ areo hey, te ie rinomba’ i Talè ondaty an-tane’ Egipte añeo, le nimongore’e o tsi-niatoo,
Now I intend to remind you, you once having known all this, that Jesus, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, He secondly destroyed those not having believed;
6 naho nitambozore’e an-drohy tsy modo am-pimoromoroñañe ao ampara’ i zaka amy andro jabajabaiy o anjely tsy nitañe ty nañorizañe iareo naho nifary i toe’ iareo do’ey; (aïdios g126)
messengers also, those who did not keep their own principality, but left their proper dwelling, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness until [the] judgment of [the] great day, (aïdios g126)
7 hambañe amy Sodoma naho i Gomora naho o rova nañohokeo, ie nivalijere an-karapiloañe nipay nofotse faly, vaho nanoeñe fandrazañañe, nafàtse ho lovilovieñe añ’afo ao kitro katroke. (aiōnios g166)
as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them, in like manner to these [messengers], having given themselves to whoredom, and having gone after other flesh, have been set before [as] an example, undergoing the justice of continuous fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 Toe manahake izay iretiañe, ie mametaveta sandriñe amo anofisa’ iareoo, mañarinje mpanandily, vaho mañinje o amam-bolonahetseo.
In like manner, nevertheless, those dreaming indeed defile the flesh, and they disregard lordship, and they speak evil of glorious [ones],
9 Fa ndra i Mikaela, talèn’ anjely, ie nifañotak’ amy mpañìnjey t’ie nifandietse amy fañòva’ i Mosèy, tsy nahavany hanisý aze añ’ endake, fa nanao ty hoe: Hitrevoha’ t‘i Talè!
yet Michael, the chief messenger, when disputing with the Devil, reasoning about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring against [him] a judgment of slander, but said, “The LORD rebuke you!”
10 Fe mañìnje o raha tsy apota’e ondaty retiañe, naho o raha nifohi’e boak’ an-trokeo, hoe biby tsy mitsakore, izay ty mahamomoke iareo.
But these, indeed, whatever [things] they have not known, they speak evil of; and whatever [they know], like the irrational beasts, they understand naturally—in these they are corrupted;
11 Hankàñe am’iareo! Ie nitsile an-dala’ i Kaina naho nifatrifatry nipay tambe ami’ty fandilara’ i Balama vaho mirotsak’ ami’ty fiola’ i Kòra.
woe to them! Because they went on in the way of Cain, and they rushed to the deceit of Balaam for reward, and in the controversy of Korah they perished.
12 Ie vato-haran-driake mietak’ amo sabadidam-pikokoa’ areoo mitrao-pikama tsy aman-kembañe; tea haneñe avao; rahoñe tsy aman-drano, ahofahofan-tioke; hatae an-tsaramanty tsy mamoa, indroe mate, nombotañe reke-bahatse;
These are stains at your love-feasts, feasting together with you without fear, shepherding themselves; waterless clouds, being carried away by winds; autumnal trees without fruit, having died twice, having been uprooted;
13 onjan-driake mivalitaboake mandoa voren-kameñarañe; vasiañe mirererere nañajàñe ieñe mimoromoroñe zafezanake. (aiōn g165)
wild waves of a sea, foaming up their own shameful [deeds]; stars going astray, for whom the gloom of the darkness throughout the age has been kept. (aiōn g165)
14 Nitokie’ i Enoka, faha-fiton-tarira’ i Dame, ka, ondatiy rey, nitaroñe ty hoe: Heheke, mitotsak’ etoa t’i Talè aman’ aleale’ o noro’eo,
And Enoch, the seventh from Adam, also prophesied to these, saying, “Behold, the LORD has come with myriads of His holy ones,
15 hametsake zaka amy ze he’e, hañameloke ze tsi-aman-Kàke ty amo sata tsi-aman-Kàke nitoloñe’ iareoo an-kaloloañeo, naho o tambaimbaiñe nanoe’ i mpanan-kakeo tsi-aman-Kàke rezay ama’eo.
to do judgment against all, and to convict all their impious ones, concerning all their works of impiety that they did impiously, and concerning all the harsh [words] that impious sinners spoke against Him.”
16 Mpiñeoñeoñe iereo, mpaniñetiñe; mañorike o drao tsi-voka’eo; mivolam-pirengevohañe o vava’eo, mitsiriry laharañe, hañaramamoa’e.
These are discontented grumblers, walking according to their own lusts; and their mouth speaks swollen words, giving admiration to persons for the sake of profit;
17 Ie amy zao, ry rañetse, tiahio i saontsy nente’ o Firàhe’ i Talèntika Iesoà Norizañeio taoloy;
but you, beloved, remember the sayings spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,
18 ie nitaroñe ty hoe: An-tsà honka’e, le hitoandratoandra an-kadrao tsy aman-Kàke o mpanivetìveo.
that they said to you, that in the last time there will be scoffers, following after their own lusts of impieties,
19 Ie mpampiriaria—mpañorike ty draon-troke, tsy amañ’Arofo.
these are those causing divisions, natural men, not having the Spirit.
20 F’inahareo, ry rañetse, ie mitomambao am-patokisañe miavake do’e naho mitalaho añamy Arofo-Masiñey,
But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,
21 tambozoro i fikokoan’ Añaharey, itamao ty fiferenaiña’ i Talèntika Iesoà Norizañey minday haveloñe nainai’ey. (aiōnios g166)
keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ [resulting] in continuous life; (aiōnios g166)
22 Rambeso an-tretrè o ila’e mihañahañao.
and, indeed, show mercy to those who are doubting,
23 Rombaho ty ila’e, isintono boak’ añ’ afo ao, ferenaiño an-kahembañañe ka o ila’eo, le hejeo ndra ty sikiñe nileore’ o nofotseo.
and rescue others by snatching [them] out of fire; but show mercy to others in fear, hating even the coat having been stained from the flesh.
24 Aa le ho amy mahatañ’ anahareo tsy hitsikapy naho mahafitroatse anahareo ho tsy aman-kandra, an-kafaleam-bey mb’ añatrefan’ enge’e mb’eo,
And to Him who is able to guard you without stumbling, and to set [you] in the presence of His glory unblemished, in gladness,
25 Ho aman’ Añahare tokañe mahihitse, Mpandrombak’ antikañe, ty engeñe naho volonahetse, fifeheañe vaho haozarañe, taolo’ ze sa, henaneo vaho nainai’e donia. Amena. (aiōn g165)
to the only wise God our Savior, [is] glory and greatness, power and authority, both now and forever! Amen. (aiōn g165)
