1 Nañarine amy Elatsare mpisoroñe naho amy Iehosoa ana’ i None, naho amo talèm-pifokoa’ o ana’ Israeleo o talen-droaen-te-Levio;
Then came near the ancestral heads of the Levites, unto Eleazar, the priest, and unto Joshua son of Nun, —and unto the ancestral heads of the tribes, of the sons of Israel;
2 le nisaontsy am’ iereo e Silò an-tane Kenaàne ao ami’ty hoe: Nandilia’ Iehovà am-pità’ i Mosè ty hanolorañe anay rova himoneña’ay rekets’ o fiandrazañe mañohok’ aze ho amo hare’aio.
and spake unto them in Shiloh in the land of Canaan, saying: Yahweh himself, commanded, by the hand of Moses, that there should be given unto us cities to dwell in, —with their pasture-lands for our cattle.
3 Aa le natolo’ o ana’ Israeleo amo nte-Levio, boak’ amo fanaña’ iareoo ty amy tsara’ Iehovày, o rova retoa naho o fiandraza’eo.
So the sons of Israel gave unto the Levites, out of their own inheritance, at the bidding of Yahweh, —these cities, with their pasture-lands.
4 Aa le niboak’ an-tsapake ty ho a o hasavereña’ o nte-Kehàteo: Le niazo’ o ana’ i Aharone mpisoroñe, nte-Levio, an-tsapake, am-pifokoa’ Iehodà naho am-pifokoa’ i Simone, naho am-pifokoa’ i Beniamine, ty rova folo-telo amby.
And, when the lot came out for the families of the Kohathites, then had the sons of Aaron the priest, from among the Levites—out of the tribe of Judah and out of the tribe of the Simeonites and out of the tribe of Benjamin—by lot, thirteen cities.
5 Ty ila’ o ana’ i Kehàteo ro nandrambe an-tsapake boak’ an-kasavereñam-pifokoa’ i Efraime naho am-pifokoa’ i Dane, naho amy vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasèy: rova folo.
And, the sons of Kohath that remained, had—out of the families of the tribe of Ephraim and out of the tribe of Dan and out of the half tribe of Manasseh—by lot, ten cities.
6 Le niazo’ o ana’ i Gersoneo an-tsapake boak’ an-kasavereñam-pifokoa’ Isakhare naho boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Asere, naho boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Naftalý, vaho boak’ ami’ty vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasè e Basane, ty rova folo-telo’ amby.
And, the sons of Gershon, had—out of families of the tribe of Issachar and out of the tribe of Asher and out of the tribe of Naphtali and out of the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan—by lot, thirteen cities.
7 Le niazo o ana’ i Merarìo ty amo hasavereña’eo, an-tsapake, tam-pifokoa’ i Reobene, naho tam-pifokoa’ i Gade, naho tam-pifokoa’ i Zebolone, ty rova folo-ro’ amby.
The sons of Merari, by their families, had—out of the tribe of Reuben and out of the tribe of Gad and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.
8 Aa le natolo’ o ana’ Israeleo amo nte-Levio an-tsapake i rova rey reketse ty tane fiandrazañe mañohoke iareo, ty amy lili’ Iehovà am-pità’ i Mosèy.
So the sons of Israel gave unto the Levites these cities, with their pasture lands, —as Yahweh commanded, by the hand of Moses, by lot.
9 Aa le natolotse boak’ am-pifokoa’ o ana’ Iehodao naho am-pifokoa’ o ana’ i Simoneo o rova toñoneñe ami’ty añara’e rezao:
Thus then they gave—out of the tribe of the sons of Judah and out of the tribe of the sons of Simeon—these cities which are mentioned by name.
10 Ho amo ana’ i Aharoneo, raik’ amo hasavereñan-te-Kehàte ana’ i Levio; fa a’ iareo i kitsapake valoha’ey,
And the sons of Aaron, from among the sons of Kohath, from among the sons of Levi, had them, —because, theirs, was the first lot;

yea there was given unto them, the city of Arba, the father of Anak, the same, is Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, —with the pasture land thereof, round about it;

whereas, the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, gave they unto Caleb son of Jephunneh, as his possession.
13 Natolo’ iareo amo ana’ i Aharone mpisoroñeo t’i Kebrone naho o fiandraza’eo ho fitsoloham-pamono, naho i Libnà reke-piandrazañe;
But, unto the sons of Aaron the priest, gave they the city of refuge for the manslayer, even Hebron, with the pasture lands thereof, —Libnah also, with her pasture lands;
14 naho Iatire reke-piandrazañe naho i Estemoa reke-piandrazañe

and Ain, with her pasture land, and Juttah, with her pasture land, Beth-shemesh, with her pasture land, —nine cities, out of these two tribes.
17 Naho boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Beniamine, i Gibone reke-piandrazañe naho i Gebà reke-piandrazañe,
And, out of the tribe of Benjamin, Gibeon, with her pasture land, —Geba, with her pasture land;
18 naho i Anatote reke-piandrazañe naho i Almone reke-piandrazañe: rova efatse.
Anathoth, with her pasture land, and Almon, with her pasture land, —four cities.
19 I hene rovan’ ana’ i Aharone mpisoroñe rey: rova folo-telo’ amby reke-piandrazañe.
All the cities of the sons of Aaron, the priests, were thirteen cities, with their pasture lands.
20 Aa le o hasavereñan’ ana’ i Kehàte, nte-Levio, o ilan’ ana’ i Kehàteo: i rova niazo’ iareo an-tsapake boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Efraime rey:
And, as for the families of the sons of Kohath, the Levites, which remained of the sons of Kohath, the cities of their lot were out of the tribe of Ephraim.

30 Le boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Asere: i Misale reke-piandrazañe naho i Abdone reke-piandrazañe,
And, out of the tribe of Asher, Mishal, with her pasture land, Abdon, with her pasture land;

All the cities for the sons of Merari, by their families, who remained of the families of the Levites, yea their lot was, twelve, cities.
41 Ze hene rova’ o nte-Levio: rova efa-polo-valo’ amby reke-piandrazañe, añivom-panaña’ o ana’ Israeleo ao;
All the cities of the Levites, in the midst of the possession of the sons of Israel, were forty-eight cities, with their pasture lands:
42 I rova rezay ro songa reke-piandrazañe; le izay ty ie amy fonga rova rey.
these cities passed, each severally, with its pasture lands round about it; thus, was it with all these cities.
43 Aa le hene natolo’ Iehovà am’ Israele i tane nifantà’e hatolotse an-droae’ iareoy le nitavane’ iereo vaho nimoneñañe.

And Yahweh gave them rest round about, according to all that he had sworn unto their fathers, —and there stood not a man before them, of all their enemies; all their enemies, did Yahweh deliver into their hand.
45 Tsy teo ty hasoa nipoke ze nampitama’ Iehovà amy anjomba’ Israeley, songa nitendreke.
There failed not a thing, out of all the good things, whereof Yahweh had spoken unto the house of Israel, —the whole, came to pass.
