1 Nañarine amy Elatsare mpisoroñe naho amy Iehosoa ana’ i None, naho amo talèm-pifokoa’ o ana’ Israeleo o talen-droaen-te-Levio;
Then the heads of the families of the Levites came to Eleazar the priest and Joshua, the son of Nun, and to the heads of families of the tribes of the children of Israel;
2 le nisaontsy am’ iereo e Silò an-tane Kenaàne ao ami’ty hoe: Nandilia’ Iehovà am-pità’ i Mosè ty hanolorañe anay rova himoneña’ay rekets’ o fiandrazañe mañohok’ aze ho amo hare’aio.
And said to them in Shiloh in the land of Canaan, The Lord gave orders by Moses that we were to have towns for living in, with their grass-lands for our cattle.
3 Aa le natolo’ o ana’ Israeleo amo nte-Levio, boak’ amo fanaña’ iareoo ty amy tsara’ Iehovày, o rova retoa naho o fiandraza’eo.
And the children of Israel out of their heritage gave to the Levites these towns with their grass-lands, by the order of the Lord.
4 Aa le niboak’ an-tsapake ty ho a o hasavereña’ o nte-Kehàteo: Le niazo’ o ana’ i Aharone mpisoroñe, nte-Levio, an-tsapake, am-pifokoa’ Iehodà naho am-pifokoa’ i Simone, naho am-pifokoa’ i Beniamine, ty rova folo-telo amby.
And the heritage came out for the families of the Kohathites: the children of Aaron the priest, who were of the Levites, were given thirteen towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.
5 Ty ila’ o ana’ i Kehàteo ro nandrambe an-tsapake boak’ an-kasavereñam-pifokoa’ i Efraime naho am-pifokoa’ i Dane, naho amy vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasèy: rova folo.
The rest of the children of Kohath by their families were given ten towns from the tribes of Ephraim and Dan and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
6 Le niazo’ o ana’ i Gersoneo an-tsapake boak’ an-kasavereñam-pifokoa’ Isakhare naho boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Asere, naho boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Naftalý, vaho boak’ ami’ty vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasè e Basane, ty rova folo-telo’ amby.
The children of Gershon by their families were given thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar and Asher and Naphtali and the half-tribe of Manasseh which was in Bashan.
7 Le niazo o ana’ i Merarìo ty amo hasavereña’eo, an-tsapake, tam-pifokoa’ i Reobene, naho tam-pifokoa’ i Gade, naho tam-pifokoa’ i Zebolone, ty rova folo-ro’ amby.
The children of Merari by their families were given twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben and Gad and Zebulun.
8 Aa le natolo’ o ana’ Israeleo amo nte-Levio an-tsapake i rova rey reketse ty tane fiandrazañe mañohoke iareo, ty amy lili’ Iehovà am-pità’ i Mosèy.
All these towns with their grass-lands the children of Israel gave by the decision of the Lord to the Levites, as the Lord had given orders by Moses.
9 Aa le natolotse boak’ am-pifokoa’ o ana’ Iehodao naho am-pifokoa’ o ana’ i Simoneo o rova toñoneñe ami’ty añara’e rezao:
From the tribes of the children of Judah and the children of Simeon they gave these towns, listed here by name:
10 Ho amo ana’ i Aharoneo, raik’ amo hasavereñan-te-Kehàte ana’ i Levio; fa a’ iareo i kitsapake valoha’ey,
These were for the children of Aaron among the families of the Kohathites, of the children of Levi: for they came first in the distribution.
11 natolotse iareo ty Kiriate-Arba, (ana’ i Anàke t’i Arba)—i Kebrone izay—am-bohibohi’ Iehoda ao, rekets’ o tane fiandrazañe mañohok’ azeo.
They gave them Kiriath-arba, the town of Arba, the father of Anak, (which is Hebron) in the hill-country of Judah, with its grass-lands.
12 Fe natolo’ iareo amy Kalebe ana’ Iefonè ho fanaña’e ka o teteke naho tanà’ i rovaio.
But the open country round the town, and its unwalled places, they gave to Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, as his property.
13 Natolo’ iareo amo ana’ i Aharone mpisoroñeo t’i Kebrone naho o fiandraza’eo ho fitsoloham-pamono, naho i Libnà reke-piandrazañe;
And to the children of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its grass-lands, the town where the taker of life might be safe, and Libnah with its grass-lands;
14 naho Iatire reke-piandrazañe naho i Estemoa reke-piandrazañe
And Jattir with its grass-lands, and Eshtemoa with its grass-lands;
15 naho i Kolone reke-piandrazañe naho i Debire reke-piandrazañe;
And Holon with its grass-lands, and Debir with its grass-lands;
16 naho i Aine reke-piandrazañe naho Iotà reke-piandrazañe naho i Bete-semese reke-piandrazañe; rova sive boak’ amy fifokoa roe rey.
And Ain, and Juttah, and Beth-shemesh, with their grass-lands; nine towns from those two tribes.
17 Naho boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Beniamine, i Gibone reke-piandrazañe naho i Gebà reke-piandrazañe,
And from the tribe of Benjamin they gave Gibeon and Geba with their grass-lands;
18 naho i Anatote reke-piandrazañe naho i Almone reke-piandrazañe: rova efatse.
Anathoth and Almon with their grass-lands, four towns.
19 I hene rovan’ ana’ i Aharone mpisoroñe rey: rova folo-telo’ amby reke-piandrazañe.
Thirteen towns with their grass-lands were given to the children of Aaron, the priests.
20 Aa le o hasavereñan’ ana’ i Kehàte, nte-Levio, o ilan’ ana’ i Kehàteo: i rova niazo’ iareo an-tsapake boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Efraime rey:
The rest of the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites, were given towns from the tribe of Ephraim.
21 natolotse iareo ty Sekeme am-bohibohi’ i Efraime ao reke-piandrazañe ho rovam-pitsoloha’ ty namono naho i Gezere reke-piandrazañe
And they gave them Shechem with its grass-lands in the hill-country of Ephraim, the town where the taker of life might be safe, and Gezer with its grass-lands;
22 naho i Kib’ tsaime reke-piandrazañe, naho i Bete-korone reke-piandrazañe: rova efatse.
And Kibzaim and Beth-horon with their grass-lands, four towns.
23 Le boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Dane, i Eltekè reke-piandrazañe, naho i Gibetone reke-piandrazañe
And from the tribe of Dan, Elteke and Gibbethon with their grass-lands;
24 naho i Ai’ialone reke-piandrazañe naho i Gat-rimòne reke-piandrazañe: rova efatse.
Aijalon and Gath-rimmon with their grass-lands, four towns.
25 Le boak’ami’ ty vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasè, i Tanake reke-piandrazañe, naho i Gat’rimòne reke-piandrazañe: rova roe.
And from the half-tribe of Manasseh, Taanach and Gath-rimmon with their grass-lands, two towns.
26 I hene rova’ o ana’ i Kehàte ila’eo le folo reke-piandrazañe.
All the towns of the rest of the families of the children of Kohath were ten with their grass-lands.
27 Le boak’ amy vakim-pifokoa’ ila’ i Menasèy ka ty nanolorañe o ana’ i Gersone amo hasavereña’ i Levioo, i Golane e Basane ao reke-piandrazañe, ho rovam-pitsoloha’ ty namono ondaty naho i Bisterà reke-piandrazañe: rova roe.
And to the children of Gershon, of the families of the Levites, they gave from the half-tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its grass-lands, the town where the taker of life might be safe, and Ashtaroth with its grass-lands, two towns.
28 Le boak’ am-pifokoa’ Isakhare, i Kisone reke-piandrazañe naho i Dabarè reke-piandrazañe,
And from the tribe of Issachar, Kishion and Daberath with their grass-lands;
29 Iarmote reke-piandrazañe, i Enganime reke-piandrazañe, rova efatse.
Jarmuth and En-gannim with their grass-lands, four towns.
30 Le boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Asere: i Misale reke-piandrazañe naho i Abdone reke-piandrazañe,
And from the tribe of Asher, Mishal and Abdon, with their grass-lands:
31 i Kelkate reke-piandrazañe, naho i Rekobe reke-piandrazañe: rova efatse.
Helkath and Rehob with their grass-lands, four towns.
32 Le tam-pifokoa’ i Naftalý, i Kedese e Galilà reke-piandrazañe ho rovam-pitsoloha’ ty namono ondaty naho i Kamote’ dore reke-piandrazañe naho i Kartane reke-piandrazañe: rova telo.
And from the tribe of Naphtali, Kedesh in Galilee with its grass-lands, the town where the taker of life might be safe, and Hammoth-dor and Kartan with their grass-lands, three towns.
33 Ze hene rova’ o nte-Gersoneo ty amo hasavereña’eo: rova folo-telo’ amby reke-piandrazañe.
All the towns of the Gershonites with their families were thirteen with their grass-lands.
34 Le ho amo hasavereñan’ ana’ i Merario, ty sisa’ amo nte-Levio: Boak’ am-pifokoa’ i Zebolone, Iok’neame reke-piandrazañe, naho i Kartà reke-piandrazañe,
And to the rest of the Levites, that is, the families of the children of Merari, they gave from the tribe of Zebulun, Jokneam and Kartah with their grass-lands;
35 i Dimnà reke-piandrazañe, vaho i Nahalale reke-piandrazañe: rova efatse.
Dimnah and Nahalal with their grass-lands, four towns.
36 Le boak’ am-pifokoa Reobene: i Betsere reke-piandrazañe, naho Iatsà reke-piandrazañe,
And from the tribe of Reuben, Bezer and Jahaz with their grass-lands;
37 i Kedemote reke-piandrazañe, naho i Mefaate reke-piandrazañe: rova efatse;
Kedemoth and Mephaath with their grass-lands, four towns.
38 le tam-pifokoa’ i Gade, i Ramote e Gilade ao reke-piandrazañe, ho rovam-pitsoloha’ ty namono ondaty, naho i Mahanaime reke-piandrazañe,
And from the tribe of Gad, Ramoth in Gilead, the town where the taker of life might be safe, and Mahanaim with their grass-lands;
39 naho i Khesbone reke-piandrazañe, Iaazere reke-piandrazañe: rova efatse ty tonto’e.
Heshbon and Jazer with their grass-lands, four towns.
40 Aa le o rova natolotse amo ana’ i Merario iabio, sisa’ o nte Levio ty amo hasavereña’eo: rova folo-ro’ amby ty niazo’ iareo an-tsapake.
All these towns were given to the children of Merari by their families, that is, the rest of the families of the Levites; and their heritage was twelve towns.
41 Ze hene rova’ o nte-Levio: rova efa-polo-valo’ amby reke-piandrazañe, añivom-panaña’ o ana’ Israeleo ao;
All the towns of the Levites, among the heritage of the children of Israel, were forty-eight towns with their grass-lands.
42 I rova rezay ro songa reke-piandrazañe; le izay ty ie amy fonga rova rey.
Every one of these towns had grass-lands round it.
43 Aa le hene natolo’ Iehovà am’ Israele i tane nifantà’e hatolotse an-droae’ iareoy le nitavane’ iereo vaho nimoneñañe.
So the Lord gave to Israel all the land which he gave by oath to their fathers; so it became their heritage and their living-place.
44 Le nampitofà’ Iehovà o nañohoke iareoo ty amo hene nifantà’e aman-droae’ iareoo; vaho leo raik’ amo rafelahi’eo tsy nitroatse am’ iereo, fa natolo’ Iehovà am-pità’ iareo ze fonga rafelahi’ iareo.
And the Lord gave them peace on every side, as he had said to their fathers: all those who were against them gave way before them, for the Lord gave them all up into their hands.
45 Tsy teo ty hasoa nipoke ze nampitama’ Iehovà amy anjomba’ Israeley, songa nitendreke.
The Lord kept faith with the house of Israel about all the good which he said he would do for them, and all his words came true.
