< Josoa 13 >

1 Naho fa nigain-kantetse t’Iehosoa ie fa nanjo taoñe maro; le hoe ty nitsarae’ Iehovà ama’e: Fa bey irehe, naho maro taoñe, vaho mbe bey o tane mbe ho tavaneñeo.
Now Joshua was very old when Yahweh said to him, “You are very old, but there is still very much land to capture.
2 Inao ty tane mbe sisa: ze hene efe-tane’ o nte Pilistio naho o nte-Gesore iabio;
This is the land that still remains: All the regions of the Philistines, and all those of the Geshurites,
3 boak’e Sihore aolo’ i Mitsraime pak’añ’efe-tane Ekrone mañavaratse, i volilieñe amo nte-Kanàneo; i mpifeleke lime’ o nte-Pilistio: i nte Gazay, i nte-Asdodey naho i nte-Askeloney, i nte-Gitiy, vaho i nte-Ekroney; tovo’e i nte-Avý
from Shihor, which is east of Egypt, and northward to the border of Ekron, which is considered property of the Canaanites; the five rulers of the Philistines, those of Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkelon, Gath, and Ekron—the territory of the Avvites.
4 atimoy; ty hene tane’ o nte-Kanàneo, naho i Mearà a’ o nte-Tsidoneo, pak’ Afeke, pak’ añ’ efe-tane’ o nte-Amoreo;
In the south (the territory of the Avvites); all the lands of the Canaanites, from Arah that belongs to the Sidonians, as far as Aphek which is on the border of the Amorites;
5 naho ty tane’ o nte-Gebaleo, naho i Lebanone iaby mb’amy fanjirihan’ àndroy mb’eo, boake Baal-gade ambane’ i Vohi-Kermoney pak’ am-pimoahañe mb’e Kamate;
the land of the Gebalites, all of Lebanon toward the east, from Baal Gad below Mount Hermon to Lebo Hamath.
6 ze hene mpimoneñe ambohibohitse boake Lebanone pake Misrefote-maime, o nte Tsidone iabio; ho roaheko aolo’ o ana’ Israeleo; f’ie zarao amy Israele hey, ho lova, amy nandiliako azoy.
Also, all the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon as far as Misrephoth Maim, including all the people of Sidon. I will drive them out before the army of Israel. Be sure to assign the land to Israel as an inheritance, as I commanded you.
7 Ie amy zao, zarao ho lova amy fifokoa sive rey naho amy vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasèy i tane zay.
Divide this land as an inheritance to the nine tribes and to the half tribe of Manasseh.”
8 Miharo amy vaki’e ila’ey ka ty nandrambesa’ o nte-Reobeneo naho o nte-Gadeo ty lova’ iareo, i natolo’ i Mosè iareo alafe’ Iardeney maniñanam-b’eoy, i natolo’ i Mosè mpitoro’ Iehovà am’ iareoy;
With the other half of the tribe of Manasseh, the Reubenites and the Gadites had received their inheritance that Moses gave them on the east side of the Jordan,
9 boak’ Aroere, añ’olo’ i vavatane Arnoney naho i rova añivo’ i vavataneiy naho i haboañe pisake boake Medebày pake Dibone añe;
from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Arnon river gorge (including the city that is in the middle of the gorge), to all the plateau of Medeba as far as Dibon;
10 ze hene rova’ i Sihone mpanjaka’ o nte-Amore nifehe e Khesboneoy, pak’ añ’ efe-tane’ o ana’Amoneo;
all the cities of Sihon, king of the Amorites, who ruled in Heshbon, to the border of the Ammonites;
11 naho i Gilade naho ty ampari’ o nte-Gergosio miharo amo nte-Maakatio naho ty vohi-Kermone iaby, naho i Basane iaby pake Salkà;
Gilead, and the region of the Geshurites and Maacathites, all of Mount Hermon, all Bashan to Salekah;
12 ze fonga’ fifehea’ i Oge e Basane ao, ie nifeleke e Astarote naho Edrey—i sehanga’ o nte-Refàoy—o linafa’i Mosè vaho rinoa’eo.
all the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth and Edrei—these are what was left of the remnant of the Rephaim—Moses struck them and drove them out.
13 Fe tsy rinoa’ o ana’ Israeleo o nte-Gesoreo naho o nte-Màkatio; toe mitrao-pimoneñe am’ Israele pake henaneo t’i Gesore naho i Màkaty.
But the people of Israel did not drive out the Geshurites or the Maacathites. Instead, Geshur and Maacath live among Israel to this day.
14 I fifokoa’ i Leviy avao ty tsy nitolora’e lova; fa lova’e o engaeñe añ’ afo am’ Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele, ty amy nitsara’ey.
To the tribe of Levi alone Moses gave no inheritance. The offerings of Yahweh, the God of Israel, made by fire, are their inheritance, as God said to Moses.
15 Nanolotse amy fifokoa’ o ana’ i Reobeneoy ty amo hasavereña’eo t’i Mosè.
Moses gave an inheritance to the tribe of Reuben, clan by clan.
16 Nifototse e Aroere ty efe-tane’ iareo, añ’ olo’ i vavatane’ i Armoney, naho i rova añivo’ i vavataneiy, naho ze hene haboam-petrak’ añ’ ila’ i Medebà añe;
Their territory was from Aroer, on the edge of the Arnon River gorge, and the city that is in the middle of the valley, and all the plateau by Medeba.
17 i Khesbone naho ze hene rova’e an-kaboa-petrakeo; i Dibone naho i Bamote-Baale, naho i Bet-baal-meone;
Reuben also received Heshbon and all its cities that are in the plateau, Dibon, and Bamoth Baal, and Beth Baal Meon,
18 naho Iahatse, naho i Kedemote naho i Mepaate;
and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,
19 naho i Kiriataime naho i Sibmà, naho i Zeretsahare an-kaboa’ i vavataney;
and Kiriathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth Shahar on the hill of the valley.
20 naho i Bete-peore, naho o firoroña’ i Pisgào naho i Bete-iesimote;
Reuben also received Beth Peor, the slopes of Pisgah, Beth Jeshimoth,
21 naho o hene rova’ i haboam-petrakeio naho o fonga fifehea’ i Sihone mpanjaka’ o nte-Amoreo nifehe e Khesboneo, ie linafa’ i Mosè, naho o mpiaolo’ i Midianeo, i Evý, naho i Rekeme, naho i Zore, naho i Hore, naho i Reba, o roandria’ i Sihone nimoneñe amy taneio.
all the cities of the plateau, and all the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, who had reigned in Heshbon, whom Moses had defeated together with the leaders of Midian, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur and Reba, the princes of Sihon, who had lived in the land.
22 Vinono o ana’ Israeleo am-pibara añivo’ o ila’e zinamañe am’ iareoo ka t’i Balame mpisikily ana’ i Beore.
The people of Israel also killed with the sword Balaam son of Beor, who practiced divination, among the rest of those they had killed.
23 Aa naho i efe-tane’ o ana’ i Reobeneoy, le Iardeney ty efe’e. Izay ty lova o ana’ i Reobeneo ty amo hasavereña’eo, o rova naho tanà’eo.
The border of the tribe of Reuben is the Jordan River; this is their boundary. This was the inheritance of the tribe of Reuben, given to each of their clans, with their cities and villages.
24 Le nitolora’ i Mosè ka ty fifokoa’ i Gade, amo ana’ i Gadeo, ty amo hasavereña’eo.
This is what Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, clan by clan:
25 Ty tane’ iareo, le Iazere, naho ze hene rova’ i Gilade naho ty vaki’ i tanen-te-Amone pak’ Aroere aolo’ i Rabà;
Their territory was Jazer, all the cities of Gilead and half the land of the Ammonites, to Aroer, which is east of Rabbah,
26 naho boake Khesbone pake Ramate-hamitsepè naho i Betonime; vaho boake Makanaime pak’ an-tane Debire;
from Heshbon to Ramath Mizpah and Betonim, from Mahanaim to the territory of Debir.
27 naho am-bavatane ao: i Betarame naho i Betenimrà naho i Sokote, naho i Tsafone, ty sisa’ i tane’ i Sihone, mpanjaka’ i Khesbone, vaho Iardeney ro efe’e pak’ añ’ olon-driake e Kinerete alafe’ Iardeney maniñanañe.
In the valley, Moses gave them Beth Haram, Beth Nimrah, Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon king of Heshbon, with the Jordan as a border, to the lower end of the Sea of Kinnereth, eastward beyond the Jordan.
28 Izay ty lova’ o ana’ i Gadeo ty amo hasavereña’eo, i rova rey naho o tanà’eo.
This is the inheritance of the tribe of Gad, clan by clan, with their cities and villages.
29 Nanolotse amy vakim-pifokoa’ i Menasèy ka t’i Mosè, ho amy vakim-pifokoa’ o ana’ i Menasèoy ty amo hasavereña’eo.
Moses gave an inheritance to the half tribe of Manasseh. It was assigned to the half tribe of the people of Manasseh, clan by clan.
30 Zao ty tane’ iareo: Boak’e Mahanaime le i Basane iaby, o hene fifehea’ i Oge mpanjaka’ i Basaneo, naho ze fonga tana’ Iaire, rova enem-polo;
Their territory was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, and all the towns of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities;
31 naho ty vaki’ i Gilade, naho i Astarote, naho i Edrey; o rovam-pifehea’ i Oge e Basaneo le ho a o ana’ i Makire ana’ i Menasèo; ty vaki’ o ana’ i Makireo ty amo hasavereña’eo.
half of Gilead, and Ashtaroth and Edrei (the royal cities of Og in Bashan). These were assigned to the clan of Machir son of Manasseh—half of the people of Machir, clan by clan.
32 Izay o lova zinara’ i Mosè a monto’ i Moabeo, alafe’ Iardene e Ieriko, maniñanañe.
This is the inheritance that Moses assigned to them on the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan east of Jericho.
33 Fe tsy tinolo’ i Mosè lova ty fifokoa’ i Levy; fa Iehovà Andrianañahare’ Israele ro lova’e, ty amy tsinara’e am’ iereo.
Moses did not give an inheritance to the tribe of Levi. Yahweh, the God of Israel, is their inheritance, just as he said to them.
