2 Hapoke tsy ho valeañe hao i entan-tsy fotofoto rezay, hahazo to hao ondaty lifo-dañonañeo?
"Shouldn't the multitude of words be answered? Should a man full of talk be justified?
3 Hampijomohòn-ty lahilahy hao ty fangaradadaha’o, tsy hendaha’ ondaty hao t’ie manivetive?
Should your boastings make men hold their peace? When you mock, shall no man make you ashamed?
4 ami’ty nanoa’o ty hoe: Ki’e o fañòhakoo, naho malio-tahin-draho am-pivazohoa’o.
For you say, 'My doctrine is pure. I am clean in your eyes.'
5 Aa ehe te hitsara t’i Andrianañahare, naho hanokake fivimby ama’o,
But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against you,
6 hitaroña’e hihitse miheotse! Toe aman’ ila roe ty hilala to. Aa le mahafohina te apon’ Añahare ty ila’ o hakeo’oo.
that he would show you the secrets of wisdom. For true wisdom has two sides. Know therefore that God exacts of you less than your iniquity deserves.
7 Mahafitsikarake o raha miheotse aman’ Añahareo v’iheo? Mahafañitsokitsoke o efe’ efe’ i El-Sadai hao?
"Can you fathom the mystery of God? Or can you probe the limits of Shaddai?
8 Sikal’ an-dindìñe eñe iereo? —ino ty ho mete’o? laleke ta i Tsikeokeokey —ino ty ho fohi’o? (Sheol h7585)
They are high as heaven. What can you do? They are deeper than Sheol. What can you know? (Sheol h7585)
9 Lava te ami’ty tane toy ty andava’e, mihenehene te amy riakey.
Its measure is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.
10 Ke miary re, ke mampigabeñe, he manontoñe, ia ty hanebañe aze?
If he passes by, or confines, or convenes a court, then who can oppose him?
11 Toe arofoana’e ty votro; naho vazoho’e ty hakeo, ndra t’ie tsy mandohy.
For he knows false men. He sees iniquity also, even though he doesn't consider it.
12 Kanao hahilala ty dagola, le mahaterak’ ondaty ty borìke-ly.
An empty-headed man becomes wise when a man is born as a wild donkey's colt.
13 Avantaño arè ty arofo’o, vaho avelaro ama’e o fità’oo,
"If you set your heart aright, stretch out your hands toward him.
14 apoho añe ze hakeo am-pità’o; ko ado’o hitobok’ añ’akiba’o ao ty tahiñe,
If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away. Do not let unrighteousness dwell in your tents.
15 Ie amy zao, hampiandrae’o laharañe tsy aman-kila; hijohan-drehe tsy an-kahembañañe.
Surely then you shall lift up your face without spot; Yes, you shall be steadfast, and shall not fear:
16 Ho haliño’o ty fisotria’o; ho tiahi’o hoe rano fa nisaok’ añe.
for you shall forget your misery. You shall remember it as waters that are passed away.
17 Le hazava te amy tsipinde-menay ty havelo’o; naho manahake ty maraindray i haìe’ey.
Life shall be clearer than the noonday. Though there is darkness, it shall be as the morning.
18 Le hahatoky irehe kanao am-pitamàñe; mijilojilova añ’ariari’o, le màndrea an-kanintsiñe.
You shall be secure, because there is hope. Yes, you shall search, and shall take your rest in safety.
19 Ho nihity tsy an-kahembañañe vaho maro ty hipay imba ama’o.
Also you shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid. Yes, many shall court your favor.
20 Fe ho tofake ty maso’ o lo-tserekeo; le tsy aia ty hivoratsaha’e, vaho ty fipetro’e avao ty hisalala’e.
But the eyes of the wicked shall fail. They shall have no way to flee. Their hope shall be the giving up of the spirit."
