< Jeremia 34 >

1 Ty tsara niheo am’ Iirmeà boak’ am’ Iehovà, ie nialy am’ Ierosalaime naho amo rova’e iabio t’i Nebokadnetsare mpanjaka’ i Bavele naho o lahindefo’e iabio naho o fifeheañe an-tane felehe’e iabio vaho ondaty iabio, nanao ty hoe:
The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people fought against Jerusalem, and against all its cities, saying,
2 Hoe t’Iehovà, i Andrianañahare’ Israeley: Akia misaontsia amy Tsidkia, mpanjaka Iehodà, ty hoe: Hoe t’Iehovà: Inao! hatoloko am-pità’ i mpanjaka’ i Baveley ty rova toy vaho hampangotomomohe’e an’ afo;
Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:
3 le tsy hibotatsak’ am-pità’e irehe, fa toe ho tsepaheñe vaho hasese am-pità’e; le ho isam-pihaino’o o fihaino’ i mpanjaka’ i Baveleio naho hisaontsie’e falie am-palie vaho hañavelo mb’e Bavele mb’eo irehe.
And thou shalt not escape from his hand, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and thy eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon.
4 Fe janjiño ty tsara’ Iehovà ry Tsidkia mpanjaka’ Iehodà: Hoe t’Iehovà ama’o: Tsy hampihomahem-pibara irehe;
Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus saith the LORD concerning thee, Thou shalt not die by the sword:
5 f’ie hikoromake an-kanintsiñe, le manahake ty nañembohañe aman-droae’o, o mpanjaka taolo niaolo azoo, ty hañoroa’ iereo emboke ho azo vaho handala, ami’ty hoe: Hoy aba! Inay i tsara nitaroñekoy, hoe t’Iehovà.
[But] thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings who were before thee, so shall they burn [odors] for thee; and they will lament thee, [saying], Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, saith the LORD.
6 Aa le hene nisaontsie’ Iirmeà mpitoky amy Tsidkia mpanjaka’ Iehodà e Ierosalaime ao i tsara zay,
Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words to Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,
7 ie nialia’ o lahindefo’ i mpanjaka’ i Baveleio t’Ierosalaime naho o rova sisa’ Iehodà iabio, i Lakise naho i Azekà; amy te iereo avao ty rova nihafatrareñe sisa amo rova’ Iehodào.
When the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these fortified cities remained of the cities of Judah.
8 Ty tsara’ Iehovà niheo am’Iirmeà, ie fa nifañina amo hene’ ondaty e Ierosalaime ao t’i Tsidkia, t’ie hikoiham-pamotsorañe,
[This is] the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people who [were] at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty to them;
9 te songa ho haha’ ondaty ze mpitoro’e lahilahy, sindre ondaty ty ampela-mpitoro’e, ie lahilahy nte-Evre ndra ampela nte-Evre; soa tsy eo ty hitañe o nte-Iehodà rahalahi’eo an-drohy;
That every man should liberate his man-servant, and every man his maid-servant, [being] a Hebrew or a Hebrewess; that none should retain them in service, [to wit], a Jew his brother.
10 le songa nañaoñe o roandriañe naho ondaty iaby niantoke i fañinam-pamotsorañeio te hene ondaty ro hañaha ty ondevo-lahi’e naho fonga ondaty ty ondevo-ampela’e, tsy hanoeñe ondevo ka; Eka, nivohotse iereo vaho namotsotse.
Now when all the princes, and all the people who had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should liberate his man-servant, and every one his maid-servant, that none should retain them in service any more, then they obeyed, and let [them] go.
11 Ie añe, le nifotetse naho nampipolie’ iareo ondevo’e lahilahio naho ondevo’e ampelao, o navotsotseo; vaho nampiambanea’ iareo ho ondevo lahy naho ondevo ampela;
But afterwards they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids, whom they had liberated, to return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.
12 aa le niheo am’Iirmeà boak’ am’ Iehovà ty tsara’ Iehovà manao ty hoe:
Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
13 Hoe t’Iehovà, i Andrianañahare’ Israeley: Nanao fañina aman-droae’ areo iraho tañ’ andro nañakarako iareo an-tane Mitsraime, boak’ an-trañom-pañodevozañ’ añe ami’ty hoe:
Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth from the land of Egypt, out of the house of bond-men, saying,
14 Ie modo ty fito taoñe le tsy mete tsy hene havotso’o ze rahalahi’o nte-Iehodà naletak’ ama’o, ie fa nitoroñe azo enen-taoñe, le tsy mahay tsy haha’o ama’o; fe tsy nañaoñe ahy o roae’ areoo, tsy nanokilan-dravembia.
At the end of seven years dismiss ye every man his brother a Hebrew, who hath been sold to thee; and when he hath served thee six years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not to me, neither inclined their ear.
15 Aniany nahareo te nibalintoa, nanao ty hiti’e a-masoko, songa nitsey famotsorañe amo rahalahi’eo t’indaty; vaho nifañina amako añatrefako añ’ anjomba tokaveñe amy añarakoy;
And ye had now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbor; and ye had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
16 f’ie nivalike, naniva ty añarako, nampibalihe’ areo, songa ondaty ty ondevo’e, sindre ondaty ty ondevo-ampela’e, o fa navotso’ areo hidada ho mb’an-satri’e mb’eo; vaho nanoe’ areo ondevo-lahi’ areo naho ondevo-ampela.
But ye turned and profaned my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be to you for servants and for handmaids.
17 Aa le hoe t’Iehovà: Kanao tsy nañaoñe ahy, amy tsey fidadàñey, songa ondaty an-drahalahi’e, sindre ondaty an-drañe’e; le hitseizako fidadàñe, hoe t’Iehovà, ho amy fibaray naho i angorosiy naho i hasalikoañey, vaho hampitsololoheko amy ze kila fifehea’ ty tane toy nahareo.
Therefore thus saith the LORD; Ye have not hearkened to me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbor: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, saith the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
18 Le hatoloko am’ondaty nivalik’ amy fañinakoio, o tsy nañeneke i tsaram-pañina nanoe’ iereo aolo’ ahy eoy, ie tinori’ areo roe i ana-bosiy vaho niranga anteñateña i vaki’e rey—
And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, who have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in two, and passed between the parts of it,
19 o roandria’ Iehodao, naho o roandria’ Ierosalaimeo, o vositseo naho o mpisoroñeo, vaho ze hene ondati’ i taneio, ze niranga añivo’ ty vaki’ i ana-bosiy eo—
The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, who passed between the parts of the calf;
20 hatoloko am-pità’ o rafelahi’eo iereo naho am-pità’ o mipay ty fiai’iareoo; vaho ho fihina’ o voron-dikerañeo naho o bibi’ ty tane toio ty lolo’ iareo.
I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for food to the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.
21 Le hatoloko am-pità’ o rafelahi’ iareoo naho am-pità’ o mipay ty fiai’ iareoo, naho am-pità’ o lahindefo’ i mpanjaka’ i Bavele fa nihankañ’ am’ iareoio, t’i Tsidkia mpanjaka’ Iehodà naho o roandria’eo.
And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes I will give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you.
22 Inao! handily iraho, hoe t’Iehovà, le hampibaliheko mb’ an-drova mb’atoy iereo; hialia’ iareo, naho hitavana’ iareo, vaho hamorototoa’ iareo añ’afo; le hampangoakoaheko o rova’ Iehodao ho tsy amam-pimoneñe.
Behold, I will command, saith the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.
